I workout and I like GNC products, but I have often been put-​off by pushy sales tactics and «meat heads» who aren’t listening to my needs (for example: the Downtown Store). This approach works for some and might be necessary to engage a downtown customer.
So when I first walked into the Cap Hill store, I was prepared to be subjected to much the same. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by an employee who took pride in working in his neighborhood. He shockingly listened to things I said about my health and suggested GNC products that were relevant to my needs.
It’s great to see that the Art of customer service hasn’t been completely abandoned by GNC! Keep up the work Cap Hill!
