Guest House Bed and Breakfast

My aunt stayed here for a couple days and had a wonderful time. Our house is too small for guests so we opted to put her up down the street at the Guest House Bed and Breakfast. When we checked her in we noted how sparkly clean and charming it was. The smell of baking pumpkin bread wafted through the air. It just got better from there. Her first breakfast was homemade dutch babies with fresh fruit and wonderful sausage links. Several juices and other accoutrement were available too. We mentioned the next night we’d be back at 7 and would love to make a fire in the wood stove. When we opened the door at 6:45 we were greeted with a cheery fire in the stove and homemade cookies on the kitchen counter. She didn’t get to the hot tub but it looked fabulous. We are already planning a slumber party at the guest house in the near future. What a great find.

This was our first time in a Bed & Breakfast, and we’re sure glad we found the Guest House near Seattle. Let me start by saying the experience was first rate. Innkeepers Linda & Tom were perfect hosts, always ready with information and suggestions for food and fun in the area.
While I don’t have many pictures to go with this post, I can assure you that the place was spotless and well-​maintained. This goes for the bedrooms, the bathroom, the living room as well as the garden area.
With everything so perfectly great, it would normally be difficult to pick a highlight, but Linda & Tom made it easy to choose. Hands-​down, the highlight of our stay here was the scrumptious breakfasts! These were meals we’ve never experienced in our traveling days. We certainly looked forward to feeling pampered each morning with delicious creations that would belong in 5-​star restaurants.
In all, I only wish we could have rearranged our trip to stay longer! It was THAT GOOD — thanks to the efforts and eyes for detail of Linda & Tom.

Our family of four stayed at the Guest House B&B for four nights. This B&B is a private wing of the innkeeper’s house. We enjoyed a full use of the living room with a wood burning fireplace, nice kitchen (although stove use is not permitted due to some sort of regulation), two bedrooms, full bath and a backyard with a jacuzzi. Our hosts, Linda and Tom, made our stay very special: from amazing breakfasts to super comfy beds with hand pressed quality linens to a special birthday surprise for our son. They filled this place with so many thoughtful details that it truly feels like home away from home. I loved special touches like fresh cut flowers, afternoon cookies, plush robes, extra towels for the hot tub, complimentary umbrellas even extra swimsuits in a variety of sizes if you forgot to pack yours. Linda and Tom know and love Seattle and gave us a lot of useful information on local attractions. We had a great time.
