When searching for an agent to sell my Ravenna home, Kris and Daniela were the first on my interview list. After meeting with them I knew I needed to look no further. No regrets! They turned out to be a great choice.
I was planning a complicated out-​of-​state move and it was clear that Daniela and Kris were ready to provide the support and services that I needed before, during, and after the sale, and had the skills and experience to do it well.
Our working relationship started months before the house was on the market. K&D knew what improvements would give a good return on investment, and were ready to provide contractor and vendor referrals. They knew the styles and colors that sell homes, and worked with a stager to guide my choices of paint and carpet. If I had any questions during the preparation process, they were always available to help.
When it came time to sell the house, I moved to my new home and Kris and Daniela swung into immediate action, coordinating the cleaner, window washer, stager, and photographer while doing final preparations on the listing, including an internet marketing blitz. Their excellent project management skills were on full display. I didn’t have to worry about a thing except getting settled in my new place. They even saw to it that the plants were watered.
Even though the seller’s market had cooled a bit, my house sold within a week. I was a little worried because a similar house right next door had been sitting on the market for a few weeks unsold. Clearly Kris and Daniela knew exactly how to present my house and differentiate its features advantageously. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick sale, and the sales price as well.
K&D also kindly saw to the final details that must be dealt with after a home is sold, such as getting the utility meters read and reported at closing. This was a great relief to me since I was out of the area and couldn’t do it myself.
These two professionals are highly skilled at what they do, are very knowledgeable, well-​connected, responsive, personable, and fun to work with. I can’t imagine a more pleasant and successful home selling experience.

Both Kris and Daniela were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We felt that all questions and concerns were attended to quickly and professionally (regardless of time of day), and that our interests were always first. The tools employed and marketing plan created contributed to the successful close of both transactions. In the end, they secured the sale of our home on our terms at the price we requested during the first few days it was on the market, and the purchase of our next home on our timeline and according to our criteria. Basically, it was all about working towards what we wanted and needed.
In summary, selling and then buying with Kris and Daniela was as straightforward as such a complex process can possibly be. We were very pleased with their services.

I’m always suspicious of a «perfect» rating, especially when it’s the only one. Nevertheless, I hope to be taken seriously. I posted on Zillow where there are other good reviews of these agents.
After months of searching and despair over too few houses for sale, high prices and mediocre agents we found Kris Murphy and Daniela Dombrowski (John L. Scott). Our rough road became much smoother. We soon found a house we liked and didn’t lose out as we had a couple of months earlier with a discount agent. Kris Murphy was recommended to me so I am passing it on as an act of altruism. We found her to be intelligent, experienced, knowledgeable, ethical and generous.
Good houses in desirable areas were (and still are) being snapped up. We learned, with difficulty, that getting a good one for the money is a real challenge and I doubt if we could have managed to find and buy one without these excellent agents. We worked mostly with Kris who sent us listings as soon as they became available. In offer/​counter offer negotiations it seems very likely that Kris got us the seller’s best price. She also negotiated some expensive, seller paid repairs. Another factor contributing to our success is her excellent working relationship with our loan broker, Salmon Bay Lending (a small, local company that saved us thousands in closing costs — but that’s another story). In this time of extremely fussy banks it may be necessary and is certainly important to have a good agent/​loan broker relationship.
Finally, Kris’s patience seemed endless. She took us seriously, explained every step and answered all our questions, sometimes more than once.
