Krispy Kreme’s donuts are like deep-fried cotton candy with an airy quality and abundance of sugar. We popped by on National Donut Day to sample a free donut and were greeted warmly by the young staff member, offered our pick of donut from the mostly full case, and sent away with a smile. The Oreo cream stuffed donut was a treat after a bike ride on a hot day, and enough sugar to keep us going for the ride home.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the works inside this Krispy Kreme. It’s always interesting to watch how yout food is made. To see it all with converyor belts, deep fryers and all the equipment made it more interesting. Unfortunately, it was night time so the gears were not full speed. This is still cool to watch. It’s like watching an episode of how it is made or unwrapped. Also, it is my first time to see all the flavors laid out before me. I’m used seeing the glazed donut ones from co-workers. My son got the chocolate specialty donut and it was soooo good. I am not surprise why this place was a hit back in my younger days. The donuts are just airy and yummy. I’m just so glad we don’t have one close by or I’ll be heavier. Cool place :-).

Everything I got from here was just TOO sweet. The glaze donuts were caked in it. The filled donuts had the sweet filling and the sweet outer glaze. All in all just too much. They were okay, but with all the other options around I don’t think I’ll come back.

Ultimately best donuts in the area. Other places in Seattle do donuts like muffins, but these guys doing it right! The prices are very good too.

Doooooooughnuuuuuuuts. Yes. Oh man. The fresh, hot, glazed doughnuts are just simply a craving that cannot be so utterly satisfied anywhere else. Even without the glaze(just ask them to grab one off the conveyor belt pre-glaze), they’re incredible. That said, they get 4⁄5 because I always try one or two other flavors, and they rarely impress. I enjoyed the strawberry glaze, but no other flavors have been memorable yet for me. You can bet I’ll be back, though.

I hate to admit that I’ve been to Krispy Kreme more times than I should in the past few weeks. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s stress, I’m not sure what’s triggering my new sweet tooth but recently, I re-discovered my love for Krispy Kreme’s original glazed donut. While I’ve never really been into donuts, KK original glazed donut has a special place in my heart and I’ll take that any time over Top Pot, Mighty-O and other premium donuts… Actually, I do like the Doughnut Plant in NYC, but that’s 2,800 miles away. Aside from the original glazed donut that will likely land me in «My 600-lb Life» on TLC one day, I also like the strawberry glazed donuts and the Seahawks sprinkles donuts. My boyfriend likes the raspberry filled and double chocolate donuts(the double chocolate has both white and dark chocolate frosting, and chocolate filling), but he said the cream and custard filled donuts are not as good. The people working here always seem genuinely friendly and helpful, and they keep the place sparkling clean, never a crumb in sight. Since I’ve only been here at night, the place is almost always empty. They also have a drive-thru and donuts are half priced an hour prior to closing time!

Cant beat the doughnuts that have been around for ages. Prices are decent, staff is wonderful and knowledgeable. Even have little hats for the kids and even during any time of the year special doughnuts for the holiday season. I’m a regular, and will definitely come back as often as i can for coffee and there doughnuts.

Staff is rude and aloof. Donuts are amazing, as usual. Kind of kills the mood when the cashiers are rude

I looooooove donuts and Krispy Kreme will always be #1 in my heart. Why receive a dozen roses when you can get a dozen donuts? Am I right? This place is clean and quiet, nothing more I can really ask for. I always leave with a smile on my face.

I’m a fan of their classic donut but only if it is fresh out of their factory. It doesn’t taste the same when it is cold. When it is right out of their kitchen, it is the best thing ever. yummmm! Plus this place brings special memories :)

Ok so this is a chain of wonderful goodness but my reason for five stars is that they value and appreciate the military with a 20% military discount.

I’ve always loved krispy crème. Very good selection of doughnuts. Wish they were always fresh out the machine, when they are hit and gooey. Lol friendly people quick service.

I will start by saying I’m not really a fan of donuts. My friends thought Krispy Kreme would be the one who converts me. Sadly, it was not. It was a chilly Seattle night when 5 friends in a car were hungry for dessert. Before you knew it, we were headed to Krispy Kreme, the only place open late in Seattle practically. Apparently, getting the donuts when they are fresh and hot out of the oven is a life changing experience but I did not get to experience it. This place had 1 hour before closing and all the tables and chairs were flipped. The donuts were cold and not the life changing experience I was promised. I will say, this was my first time having Krispy Kremes as I’m from NYC and we don’t have many locations but very sadly, this will be my last time eating Krispy Kremes as well. Moment on the lips, forever on the hips + why eat a boatload of calories on something you don’t really like?

Always fresh, always clean, always fast. The have a great group working there right now. A little disappointed that they don’t give you the free hot doughnut while you wait anymore. But, that’s life. I am absolutely in love with their chocolate with sprinkles.. I could eat them every day, but I would be in trouble. Best best best place for doughnuts! And pretty good coffee too.

I’m not really a connoisseur of donuts. I really dislike most donuts and could easily pass them up, but Krispy Kremes are different! They just melt in your mouth and don’t have the dry/stale taste that grocery store donuts typically have. Since I live in the far north end and KKs are no where to be found, I take the opportunity to pick-up a dozen Original whenever I’m cruisin’ Aurora through the Shoreline neighborhood. Never a wait. I always get in-and-out super fast. Employees are friendly, and the establishment is clean.

I want to make a public service announcement: they don’t give you a free donut if their HOT light is on. They claimed it’s been stopped for like 2 years… Otherwise, it’s your usual Krispy Kreme.

Donuts are donuts. They taste delicious– my favorite is the coffee cake. I wish the hot and ready sign would be lit more often – warm donuts are the best! As for the donuts in stock, I wish that the staff would keep it well stocked instead of having trays half empty all the time during peak hours.

Well, I am always treated by my coworkers with sweets. Within 6 months working with them, I’ve gained 10 lbs. Yay! It’s awesome! I was shopping at Lowes for my trunk organization. And, I saw Krispy Kreme in the same plaza. I decided to bring in some treats for them as well! Hm… the service… I thought it was just ok! I bet the employees were tired after all day standing and making donuts! However, good deal on 2 dozens glazed donuts for $ 15. If you add $ 2, you can get a dozen sorted. I thought it was AWESOME!!! I picked all the different flavors I liked for the sorted dozen and walked away with 2 dozens of donuts in my hand!!! Friday is almost done and donuts are almost gone! I believe my coworkers like them and I feel appreciated! That’s WINWIN! :-)

I’m not too crazy with donuts but I do love Krispy Kreme’s glazed donuts, especially when they’re fresh off the conveyor belt. Other than that, I don’t care much for their other flavors, although I will get a chocolate frosted one if someone brought an assorted box to work. I did try a chocolate cheesecake donut once, which barely had any cheesecake filling and tasted nothing special. What I love to come here for is their soft serve. I think they serve one of the best soft serves in the city. Its creamy, rich and they’re generous with the portion. According to the menu, they have chocolate dipped cones but the last time I was here, they didn’t bother turning on the machine to prep the dip. The guy at the counter told me that not many people order it so they don’t always turn it on. So lame!
