History
Established in 2007.
MadAbs Fitness began with a small group of just 5 or 6 individuals who met in Volunteer Park looking for a killer summer workout once a week, and an young instructor looking to dish it out with a smile. The group grew until classes were offered all year long, accommodating classes of up to 50, and expanding to indoor boot camps, pilates, private kickboxing, as well as personal training.
Meet the Business Owner
Madelyn F.
Business Owner
Madelyn was surprised when she fell in love with instructing group fitness nine years ago at a Gold’s Gym. She comes from an extremely athletic background and has always loved being in the gym lifting on her own, but when she realized she could not only be passionate about hard-core fitness but simultaneously help others find their inner warriors, too, she thought she’d died and gone to heaven. Madelyn is ACE-certified to instruct group classes and NASM-certified to do personal training, and finds that both give her the biggest reward she’s ever received from a profession; helping her clients overcome their pain and find strength in their weakness is what gives Madelyn the positivity she needs to give right back to her clients.
