PC Mobile Help

I have a small business and I have depended on PC Mobile Help to keep me up and running for several years. Whether it is was the ominous blue screen of death or help with something as simple as being unable to attach a file to an email these folks are amazing.
They are a busy office but they always make time when an emergency breaks out.
In addition I have always felt their rates were fair. Previously I worked with a company who always had an add on cost of some type.

I love these people. They take over my laptop remotely and scrub it clean from all the little programs I inadvertantly allow in; they provide me with a folder on my desk top telling what to do to keep things smooth, clean and safe and they answer quick stupid questions when I get hung up. I couldn’t do my business or run my life without them. 5 stars

I know just enough to get myself in trouble with my laptop and had two «emergency computer» days when IT HQ saved me. They are knowledgable, fast, and work as a team to find the best solution. They went the extra mile to ensure that I had virus and malware protection in addition to what I needed updated. The price was very reasonable and incredible service. I had some thing show up on my desktop and had PC Mobile do a check/​tune-​up. They took care of things very efficiently and thoroughly. I appreciate having them as a resource and back-​up.

Yesterday I took my laptop to three places and walked out of each a little more confused. I just moved to West Seattle and wanted to try someone local so I made one more call. Kevin was clear, warm, knowledgeable and completely understandable. Even though it is likely my laptop has finally gone over the edge, Kevin was encouraging about other possibilities. He helped me decide on a new one, let me use his office desktop to make the purchase (mine wasn’t working-​remember?) and then when the company laptop was not available to lend me– Kevin lent me his. I am running a complicated renovation from home and his generosity saved me. While I was at IT Headquarters several customers came and went. All of them took the time to tell me how much they appreciated the service and care they receive at IT. I couldn’t be happier I found them.

These guys are awesome! Very honest and reliable. Have gone to them many times.

Always friendly and fair. I’m not «techy» AT ALL. The very words «mom, my computer stopped working» makes me break out in a cold sweat. Scared. Afraid. Embarrassed I can’t explain the problem correctly. It’s a real sight, trust me.
Kevin is like asking a friend for help. The whole office is like that.
What I thought was a mfg warranty problem, quickly turned into a very expensive problem at the big store I got the computer from.
Then I got my head on straight and decided to take it in here. Turns out it was a quarter of the cost and we didn’t lose the 100 page book my 14 year old has been writing for 3 months. It was a simple fix.

I was in Los Angeles saying good-​bye to my dying father and wanted to help my mother update her advance care directive and power of medical attorney. I went online to get a form and they were all PDFs and wouldn’t allow us to make the changes we needed. I’m pretty careful, so looked for conversion software on CNET, which is usually trustworthy. I downloaded it, okd the changes to my computer (which PC Mobile Help had just cleaned on a routine yearly tune-​up that I always do), and BAM, I was into Malware land, with pop-​ups erupting everywhere. I shut everything down so it wouldn’t email my contact list, and tried to knock out the programs with the tools I had on my laptop. Couldn’t do it, though I tried everything I knew plus internet searches. My antivirus programs flagged the malware fine, but it just kept coming back and I couldn’t fix it.
This was 11:30 at night. At 9:00 Am I called PC Mobile Help and they linked to my computer through the program called TeamViewer that I’ve downloaded and that lets them take command of my computer. They ran tests, ran programs, gave me programs to download and run off-​line, walked me through it in every way. It took two hours, but they got rid of the malware and got the computer that I rely on for work and everything else working fine. Dealing with a malfunctioning computer on top of everything else was the last thing I needed at that point, and they found a way to fix it – even though I was in Los Angeles and they were in their Seattle office. I’m just hugely grateful.
They’re also just really nice people. I’ve also had them work remotely to tune-​up computers of the staff for a project called the Campus Election Engagement Project and that’s taken a huge load off of my mind as well. Got them to fix computers for our staff working in Florida, North Carolina and Everett. I love them and recommend them really highly.

Kevin and Quinn assisted us in quickly resolving an issue with malware and a download program causing our system to blue screen several times a day. Their follow-​through in resolving our issues was exceptional. The price was very reasonable, and prevented us from having to purchase a new system anytime soon. Hmm, I was concerned there might not be room for ANOTHER wonderful review on these wonderful folks. From the helpful phone person, Diana (?) through each person I encountered, this is a class act of straightforwardness, honesty, and a complete lack of: disaster mongering, sugar coating, or upselling.
As a matter of fact, my computer surgeon, Dr. Kevin, gave wonderful upgrade selections I asked for and reiterated he did NOT want to in anyway appear to be a salesman.
I had toasted my own registry in an attempt to fix my firewall, which may or may not have been the real problem, but it got fixed and they saved my porn.
added after owner comments: The only thing I can’t resist is a joke. I don’t have any porn on my machine.

What happens when you combine 4 bottles of red wine, 6 friends and an overly stimulated 62 pound hound dog? You get a laptop that goes flying off the back of the couch, lands on its side and is rendered inoperable, despite repeated attempts at resuscitation by the dog.
Not to worry, though, because PC Mobile Help can handle it. I took my laptop into their shop, located next door to the WS True Value, and explained that the power button was broken and the casing around it cracked. The laptop would not turn on. I was worried they wouldn’t be able to fix it, as this was a hardware problem and I had only seen Unilocal reviews about software issues, but no problem for these guys. Robert explained that he would take a look at it and give me a call.
Robert called me the next day and explained the options for repair. Together we decided to try the cheapest McGyver fix first. Thorughout the process, Robert and his co-​worker, Rob, were super communicative, calling me several times to let me know how the fix was going. Super reasonable rates: my repair cost a grand total of $ 109.
Summary: Mobile Help guys are communicative, thorough, fast and extremely reasonable.
By the way, the fix worked great and I now have a pre-​wine drinking stowage procedure.

My computer was rendered useless by a serious malware attack. I looked these guys up on Unilocal and saw the good reviews. The good reviews are well deserved. I dropped my computer off and they took care of the problem, tuned up my computer and gave me some new computer maintenance programs and recommendations to try and fend off future problems. All of this in a 24 hour turn around time. If you’ve got a problem with you’re computer check these guys out.

Has to be the best place for help wtih your pc. I went and got a refeb computer. Glen was so helpful. He created a kids account on it with parent contols. I had a issue on my end. my kids wanted to install a game and I needed to update our driver in order to install this game. Glen connected to my pc from his office and fixed the problem for us right away. With in a weeks time., I had download so much extra stuff that I didn’t need. oops! I blamed it on my kids :). Glen cleaned it up for me.
Extremly helpful. Would not suggest anyone to go anywhere else.

Jim and team at PC Mobile Help are life savers!!! I can’t even put into words how amazing they are. My laptop died on a Wednesday. I called them first thing the next day and they told me to bring it in. And it was completely fixed the next day. Not only did they fix it — they managed to retrieve all my files from my hard drive — which I had not backed up (poorly done). AND Jim kept me posted throughout the process with calls and updates. AND he installed all sorts of fancy software that will prevent me from worrying about backing up my files in the future. AND they are hugely affordable. My laptop would not boot up and showed no signs of life when I went to PC Mobile Help, I expected to pay the fee for a diagnostic and to wait a few days for news. I was so pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service I received there, they actually took some time to chat and perform some high level diagnostics as soon as I arrived. When they determined that it would be too costly to repair I asked what models they would recommend and they gave me some great information to keep in mind when out shopping for a new laptop. As we are chatting the other employee took the time to look up my laptop at HP and found that I had 14 days left on my warranty! Wow what great news! I rate them highly for their Nordstrom like customer service, would definitely go back to them.

After using them, I recommend them for virus removal, tune-​ups and repairs. They fixed the google redirect virus that vexed my laptop for months. I’m happy!
Here’s the longer version of my story:
I had a virus or malware on my laptop the first redirected all my google searches, then it kept popping open random website pages, then it shut down my ability to connect to my wireless network. I spent days trying to fix the problem myself. Even had two programmer friends try their hand at fixing it. But nothing we tried worked. I found PC Mobile Help when I was walking my dogs. They have a store front in West Seattle. One of the guys who works there, Jim, was super nice. I told him about the virus on my laptop, and he told me how he would fix it, what it would cost and how long it would take. He did the job as promised in less than 24 hours. He also installed some anti-​virus software on my machine and told me how to keep it clean in the future. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who’s frustrated with their computer.
