Best Vegetarian Phở spot in town! You’ll become a regular here in no time! Worth it! Truly authentic!

I love this place! It is literally 2 minutes from my apartment and everyone there is so friendly. My mom and dad eat her frequently so the owners know my family by their food. It’s adorable! Cheap and fast food– you can get a small phở and 2 egg rolls for 10 $. That’s a steal! They seem to be connected to the phở bac next door(the boat) but both are great! Don’t miss out!

I love this place and the people that own and run it. These ladies are honest and sweet as compared to phở so #1 and phở hai yen –both of those are crooks. The phở here is very good and great service. Make sure to bring a visa, MasterCard or cash. No Amex or discover which I only realized once I had ordered and glanced at the door and saw that neither of the cards I had was listed on the door. Ambience is nice as well, cute with a little bit of a garden feel.

This now our new phở spot. The staff was great and served us some delicious phở. I had the veggie phở. Not sure what made it so delicious, but it was. I’m looking forward to going back soon. I even spilled my cup of tea on myself, and I still had an excellent meal.

Not as popular as Phở Boc, with whom they share a parking lot, but I’m never sure why. Phở Viet’s phở is every bit as good(on the short list of best in Seattle) & they have several other Vietnamese staples on the menu, which are also great. Perfect for a fast, authentic & delicious lunch under $ 10 in a perfectly nice, yet not at all fancy atmosphere.

I love me some Phở! This place so far is probably my favorite phở in the city. It comes across as authentic and it’s quite hardy. The beef they use is easily as good as the beef used by any other phở joint I’ve been too. But what really gets me about Phở Viet is the tendon. It’s very… tendony. Big chunks that look like they were scraped off a cow and plopped in the bowl without being excessively trimmed for aesthetic appeal. Awesome. The broth is also robust and a tad dark. This is on contrast to, say, Phở Big Bowl up in Ballard. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll eat the Phở Big Bowl stuff without any complaints, but it strikes me as «white people» phở. The broth is very light and nearly as clear as water, the tendon is less hardy and cut into relatively neat rectangles that are visually inoffensive to the less experienced consumer. Phở Viet is on the opposite side of the spectrum, and I love it. Only relatively minor things keep this from being a 5 star review. If you order a drink besides water, you won’t get any water unless you ask for it. Strange to me. Also half the time they’ll simply forget to bring you whatever non-water drink you ordered. I suppose it could be a language barrier thing. The staff has always been accommodating and polite. Go there. NOW!

This spot was a solid phở stop for us until recently, we received rancid meat with our to-go order last night. Never coming here again.

My favorite phở in town. And I’ve tried quite a few. But I do recommend sticking to phở here, don’t waste your time ordering anything else ! If you don’t want phở, get the short rib vermicelli bowl

Hands down the best chicken and beef Phở around. Also customizable — want noodles, no noodles, extra meat, two kinds of meat, no vegetable, all vegetables? They will take care of you. The food is the star attraction here. The ambience is, well, four walls and a ceiling… So if ambience is what matters to you — this could be disappointing. Otherwise YUM!

We stopped in here for a quick bite before a Seattle University soccer game. We are unfamiliar with the area and found this place, thanks to Unilocal. We walked in on a Friday night at 6 to find the place empty. We were a little worried but sat down anyway. There was a definite language barrier but we managed to order just fine. Food came quickly and was plentiful, hot, and delicious. We never saw our server again and never received any refills. The place has a bit of an old/musty/dirty feel to it. Bathrooms were gross. The other thing that was kinda off putting was the stainless steel tables, reminded me of something a dr would perform surgery on, science projects would be conducted on or even an autopsy table. We might stop by if in the area again but I don’t know that we would search it out. Food was reasonably priced.

Came in and we were seated immediately. Our drinks were brought quickly and orders were taken right after. Our appetizers came at the same time as our phở. Everything tasted delicious except for the spring roll. it tasted decent but not awesome. Their spring rolls ate good and phở is good or decent as well. Would come back one day.

I hate this place now! Me and my family come every Monday and the service got so horrible we go to the other restaurant across the parking lot. On several occasions the woman’s English was so bad she messed up our order. They switched light bulbs while we were eating. We never get offered water. The food was good but the kitchen looks messy witch ultimately made our minds up to never visit this place again.

Yum! This place his the spot every time! Vegetable phở is incredible flavorful! I love phở and this place is very authentic. Nothing special inside but worth a trip to have a bowl of phở on an ugly rainy day! Their spring rolls are good too!

Phở Viet is owned by Phở Bac which is across from it approximately 50 steps; in other words, it’s Phở Bac outside of Phở Bac, until you finish this review. I came here quite a few times, my wife likes it and I personally think it tastes like Phở Bac because of the broth, meat, noodles, even the bowl and drinking glasses indicate Phở Bac. Here’s the experience this time around: The waiter was the same as last time, he was slow like it’s his first day on the job. Our appetizers, the shrimp spring rolls(2 orders) and egg rolls(1 order) did not come until after we got our phở. I had a large phở tai nam(which is the beef brisket in long savory cuts of delicious tender beef and rare rounds of steak; it was so good!). The broth itself was well-seasoned; it did not need hoison, lime or any other flavor enhancements. The shrimp spring rolls my wife and I like, but my father was like, it did not have basil and bean sprouts inside, as it only had lettuce, rice stick noodles and shrimp only that came with a peanut hoisin sauce? The egg rolls this time were overdone, but still had the crispness, but lacked flavor, as all you can taste is the burnt-ness. Here’s the difference between Phở Bac and Phở Viet, as my father said, Phở Bac got more meat and noodles; while, Phở Viet has less. For the service, I would let this place rest for a little before I come back too soon. But, their phở is good.

Key takeaways from this review: RAWCHICKENONTHEFLOOR. Today I randomly went in to this place for lunch. I approached the counter asking for a menu. The man was brusque, but no big deal. As I started looking at the menu, I looked around a bit. From the register counter one can clearly see into the kitchen. My eyes fell on an apparently frozen block of raw chicken half-wrapped in blue plastic lying on the floor. Not on something on the floor, ONTHEFLOOR. I watched as a couple kitchen personnel walked by it repeatedly, neither making any haste to address this. I took a pic with my phone, and will upload it following this review. I moved to the doorway I was looking through to confirm it, told the guy«No thanks,» and warned the onl y other customer there. He was nonplussed(!!!) I went to my car and immediately reported them to the King Co. Health Dept., who actually seemed interested. Please DONOTEATTHERE. I have no grudge against the place, it is the only(and last) time I went there, I am not trying to bad mouth anyone, it’s just that they had RAW, FROZENCHICKENONTHEIRFLOOR.

I love this place. We eat Phở usually once a week, and when we moved from Tacoma to Seattle we were desperate to find a good phở place ASAP. They are pretty fast and friendly, and I love their tofu and veggie phở. They put cabbage in it, which a lot of places I’ve been to don’t. It’s never busy, which is weird to me because it is super good. And the price is right!

Phôck this place. They had 5 tables and were«too busy» to bring our order of spring rolls. We got our phô and I mentioned that we ordered spring rolls. We finish our phô and after getting up to remind him a second time about the spring rolls he takes another 5 mins to bring them. We ordered 4 and only got 2, under cooked tasteless tofu spring rolls. As he dropped them off he said, «sorry we are busy.» I work at a restaurant, this is not busy… Save yourself the hassle and get better phô at Phô Bac.

This is a solid little phở spot. Delicious broth that is very flavorful and not too salty. They even have a vegetarian broth that is super yummy. I’ve done take-out and sit-down dining and the service as pretty fast for both considering nothing seems to be made(not even the spring rolls) until you order it. The spring rolls are a good size! Prices are decent: $ 6.50 for a small and $ 7.50 for a large. We had a group of 7 and got plenty of basil, lime, and jalapenos for our phở. There’s a small parking lot shared with Phở Bac and there’s plenty of seating inside for large groups. The tables are a little awkward because they seem to have been made for hot pot with a recessed section in the middle, but there was still enough room for all our plates on the outer edge. Tea was decent and refilled without asking.

Fans of Phở Bac rejoice! If you love the phở, but are a little wary of taking family, friends, or dates to a run down boat for soup — look no further. Same owners, same prices, same great phở, plus more is found here at Phở Viet! Veggie options for phở, bun and rice dishes round out the menu here. But, as always for me… it’s about the phở. Maybe i’m crazy — but I think the phở here is better than across the parking lot at phở bac. Different stock pots make a difference perhaps? Or maybe the fact that this place is much more put together and clean-ish affects my taste-buds in some crazy way. Whatever — every time I come here the broth is amazing, my rare beef is rare and delicious, the basil bright and green, and all my condiments handy. I can even manage to finish a large bowl if i’ve had nothing to eat or a pesky cold is driving me to some noodley goodness. Oh, and they don’t throw uneaten sprouts and noodles out to the pigeons. That makes me happy.

This is a solid little Phở spot. Price is great($ 7.50 for a large), lots of choices(beef, chicken, tofu, shrimp) and the service was prompt. Some limited appetizers– but it’s the Phở that shines. The beef broth is very good. A little spicy, nice and rich, good level of salt. They offer complimentary tea that is very nice to enjoy when you sit down after coming in from the rain. They have a small parking lot– so it’s easy to get in and out. As far as Phở spots in the International District go– this is certainly one of the better ones.
