I went to Dr. Kimball for about six months from ¹⁄₁₄ to ⁶⁄₁₄. I am not going to her anymore ONLY because I moved out of state. :(I have never been to a better doctor in my life. She takes the time to listen to you and asks you the questions that all doctors should ask. I didn’t feel she was rushing me. I have neck problems and she suggested acupuncture and it was worth the time. My neck issues improved and I miss the relaxation I felt while there. She is easy going and makes you feel comfortable. She wasn’t pushy with supplements and told me about other daily multi-​vitamins I could take that she didn’t carry. I did email her after I moved out of state and she responded to my email timely. She didn’t have to respond at all, but I appreciate her reaching out to me. :)
I would recommend her if you are able to go to a ND!

Dr. Kimball is a wonderful and knowledgable doctor. She takes the time to explain why things are happening in your body and provides all options to help resolve the root cause of the issue. After receiving a difficult health diagnosis, Dr. Kimball and I have partnered together to create a treatment plan that we both feel comfortable with. Dr. Kimball cares about her patients and isn’t in the business to just make money which I have experienced with other doctors. I would strongly recommend Dr. Kimball to all of my friends and anyone looking for a great doctor in the Seattle area.

I am only writing this review because I recognize how hard it is to find a healthcare practitioner that works for you. I tried to use Unilocal to find a naturopath in my area that would be good for me and saw good reviews for Dr. Kimball. My experience was not a 5 star experience which is why I felt obligated to share.
EXPERIENCE:
I have seen Dr. Kimball for acupuncture (about 7 sessions) and a couple consultations for other health issues. In general, I love naturopaths. They spend more time with you and aren’t in a hurry to give you quick fixes. I found that Dr. Kimball seemed knowledgeable, but at the same time I didn’t feel she had any wildly new insights about my health or what *might* be causing some of my problems that I didn’t already have. At my first visit with her she put me on a few supplements which, since then I haven’t found made a huge difference except for the iron (which was actually my idea as I felt I was borderline anemic and turned out to be right after she ran a blood test).
The acupuncture itself also wasn’t life changing. During the session I enjoyed relaxing and definitely could feel *tingly* sensations in certain areas. I did appreciate that she often explained what she was doing and seemed to have a legitimate method to where she was putting the needles (I had acupuncture done once before and it was a bad experience). I was receiving treatment for tension headaches which were often due to tight muscles in my neck. After all has been said and done… I did not have a «bad» acupuncture experience… however massage is significantly more effective for me with regards to my headaches (I cannot speak to other things that acupuncture might be able to treat).
THE DOWNSIDE:
I will not be returning to Dr. Kimball’s office. When I met with her she told me simply that she was «covered» by my insurance. She told me that she called my insurance even to make sure they would «cover» my acupuncture sessions. What she failed to mention was that I have a high deductible and that… eventually, my 7 acupuncture treatments and couple consultations with her amounted to over $ 900. This is frustrating because she knew I was a college student. Looking back now, I felt that she pressured me into getting treatments I didn’t need for her own benefit. While her services were certainly more than 2 star quality, I now feel distrustful of her which is never something you want to feel toward a healthcare provider.
I will also add that Dr. Kimball made no effort to know me personally as a patient. Some people prefer this so it’s not a *down* side for everyone. For me, I think it’s important my doctor at least knows a tiny bit about my personal life… like where I am working, what I do in my spare time, what my stress level is like, if I’m dating someone, etc. She asked honestly zero personal questions unless I offered the information voluntarily. When explaining things she also would impulsively say «Does that make sense?» almost every other sentence… it was a little condescending at times.
Overall — I wouldn’t necessarily say to avoid Dr. Kimball. She is a nice person and does seem to be passionate about natural and traditional chinese medicine. I do think you should be wary of billing issues and just know that you likely will not have a very personal relationship with her.

I had a wonderfully informative and relaxed visit with Dr. Kimball. I think in total, we spent about an hour going through a wellness exam. She had such a warm approach and took the time to offer explanation and education around each concern I had. This helped me feel more in charge of my body and health by the time I left. I appreciated that a lot. I also appreciated that she knew how to work with my insurance in my favor, giving me options to keep my out-​of-​pocket expenses low — awesome! And thanks, Dr. Kimball!
I came away from the experience feeling informed and that Dr. Kimball was looking out for my best interest. I couldn’t ask for more in a healthcare practitioner. You won’t go wrong by seeing her!

Dr. Kimball was instrumental in helping rein in my out of control allergies. I was slightly skeptical of using acupuncture to relieve allergies but was at my wits end having tried everything else. She took the time to gather a thorough understanding of my background and issues, which she then used to help guide the session so that I received the most personalized care possible. I walked away not only sneezing less but having more engergy!
Dr. Kimball is amazing and I have been recommneding her to everyone I know.

Dr. Kimball is an amazing doctor and acupuncturist. Since seeing her, my sleep and health have been so much better. I’m more confident in my health and we’ll being. She sees the whole picture and doesn’t recommend things she hasn’t tried herself.
She’s brilliant as well as kind and personable. I recommend her!

Last spring I became curious about accupuncture and found Sabrina. She was referred to me by a nurse practitioner I was seeing. Sabrina eased my fears right away by explaining the process before I laid down on the table. It was actually quite relaxing laying still, and the needles were very tiny so I didn’t mind the placement procedure. I went to about 5 sessions and was told only to come back if I needed a tune up. Her business is honest and I appreciated her natural recommendations for general wellness.

This was my first opportunity to see Dr. Kimball. I had heard good things about her for years and had referred some friend to her previously.
My regular naturopathic doctor was out of town for an extended time. I wanted a second opinion about my supplements. I had questions about my knees, feet, etc. Basically I was concerned about my legs, joints and aging.
Some health issues had me concerned about my diet, intestinal health, and modern foods.
I was really impressed with Dr. Kimball. She was very kind and answered all of my questions completely. She has a vast amount of knowledge. I wasn’t aware of her additional certification in nutrition issues and also the physics of the body.
Prior to the appointment all of the paperwork was emailed to me which was simple. I completed the paperwork online. Scheduling my appointment online was easy.
I really enjoyed my appointment with Dr. Kimball and came away with a lot of information. When my primary naturopath retires, I will definitely switch to Dr. Kimball.

I see Dr. Kimball for acupuncture. Even before meeting her I was impressed with her attention to detail and responsiveness via email. Upon meeting her I have appreciated her compassion, her thorough knowledge of Chinese medicine, and her complimentary skills in nutrition and naturopathy. I frequently leave appointments feeling better and armed with practical steps I can take (usually involving food choices) to continue improving my health.
I recommend her to my friends for acupuncture.
Her office is conveniently located in central Fremont, and she offers clients the option to schedule appointments online.

I was really impressed with Dr. Kimball’s great attention to detail, thoroughness and agnostic approach. She was supportive of the traditional cholesterol meds I was already taking, while also encouraging me to be proactive through everyday, healthy practices. She also did a very comprehensive health assessment and was able to point out symptoms of an ailment that had not been detected in my previous three annuals. We were able to address the problem quickly via a specialist and a liveable regiment of diet and exercise. During our appointments I never feel rushed and her office location and hours are very convenient to my work schedule. I highly recommend her.

I have often benefited from Dr. Kimball’s skill as an acupuncturist and also what I regard as her good instinct and understanding of how the body works. I swear up and down that her advice (which I carefully followed) cured my ugly winter cold this past year in ¹⁄₃ the time it would have taken otherwise.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Sabrina B Kimball, LAC; ND to everyone. She not only helped me with the specific issues that I came to her with, but she also helped me with sleep issues and stress issues that I have been dealing with for years.
She usually has a full schedule but managed to fit me in when I needed to be seen. The appointment itself seemed so much longer than it actually was considering the amount of time we spoke plus the treatment. Wonderful!
Her bedside manner is comforting. She is easy to talk to with a great balance of empathy as well as an appropriate sense of humor. She heard everything I said and took it seriously. She also explained things in ways that I could truly understand them without having a degree in naturopathic medicine or acupuncture.
Her workspace is cozy yet professional looking and clean. The parking in Fremont can be a pain sometimes but luckily I haven’t had a problem so far.
I will, without a doubt, be going back.
