Quick -Lube

This place is great. Very little wait, if any at all, and the employees are very nice. Very reasonably priced too. Not open on Sunday’s though.

Needed an oil change and wanted to try this local, under known spot.
Drove up at noon, noticed one car in the bay already. Jesus came out from the garage, asked what kind of oil I wanted, took my keys and drove my truck into bay #2. He popped the trunk, topped the fluids, started draining the oil and went back to bay #1.
Finished up with the previous customer, and then finished up on mine, including air in the tires. Total cost, $ 48.16. Standard oil service 39.99 for up to 5Q, my big V8 needs that 6^th, so a little extra and them tax.
We chatted for a few minutes about how great my truck is. He wondered why I don’t drive it much, and said with the standard oil I better be back in sooner than the sensors tell me, more like after 3k miles regardless of the % life the oil warning displays.
Left right about 12:30 so in/​out with 1 car ahead of me in 30 minutes — perfect! He was the only guy working a Friday afternoon. The other customer mentioned they used to have two people working here, maybe on busier times.
Good experience, will go back.

The went here because I was looking for a cheaper option than jiffy lube. The guy working here was super rude. He looked over and told me that my car would cost 100 bucks without asking any questions or giving me any options. Double the price of jiffy lube. I’d rather just go to where I know I’ll get good customer service and options.

GREAT price, no hassle trying to get you to buy a bunch of stuff that I don’t need, friendly service. Could have used a little more communication (asking what I wanted done, etc) but I figured they would have asked if there was anything important or actually recommended (instead of up-​sold). Also wasn’t super-​fast, but it was a weird day near the holidays, and I had a book like I always do when getting an oil change, so it doesn’t matter.
Like «Megan O“‘s post, I was tired of paying so much for oil changes, and was pleased with this location, so I’ll be coming back here from now on.

This place is a joke.
I Just got back from «Quick-​Lube»… and… well, there is nothing less than a «one star», or I would have posted that instead.
In addition to oil changes being over priced…
I called about a specific battery for my car, which I asked twice to confirm he had.
Twice he said yes.
So… I drove there, talked to him about the battery I called about and he RE-​confirmed he had it.
I took out MY battery, and he brought to me the wrong thing. Not even close.
I asked again if he had what I wanted, but gave me a story about «this» battery being just as good. It wasn’t even the right thing!
Two problems with this:
ONE — it was the wrong part, and TWO — it was $ 30 MORE than anyone else was selling it for. (I’m not suggesting he’s trying to rip people off, this is just what happened to me… perhaps others too… just sayin’)
When I expressed my disappointment with not having the correct thing and telling me he did, (and wasting my time for the trouble for driving to his place) — he wouldn’t help jump the car, or help me get it started! (I had to call my wife to come «bail me out»)
I would have posted the idiots name here, but I couldn’t find him after I got the car running again. He actually hid in the back. Nice. I wont be back.

Great affordable service

Before I moved to West Seattle I always got my oil changed at Jiffy Lube. Then I became tired of spending almost $ 70 on a freaking oil change. I set out to find a new place that was cheaper and didn’t always try to add on some useless services. I turned to the West Seattle Blog for answers (if you live in WS you should be checking this blog because it is great). That is how I found Quick Lube. It’s very small and practically hidden behind a gas station. The guy who works there is pretty cool. I just roll up and say ‘I want an oil change’ and bam, he just does it without asking me if I want that really small crack in my windshield that’s been there for 4 years fixed. I’m usually only in there for 20 – 30 minutes tops. Oh yeah, and my bill is $ 32. Peace out Jiffy Lube you’ve been replaced.
