Urgent do not use them they quote for services that do not exist they charge you for work that does not have to be done. There customer service is awful and they force you to sign a contract of you come out for a consult to prove they were there.

Company is super flakey, they have missed several appointments without notifying me. I have to call just to find out they are not coming, or messed up the schedule, or blah blah blah. Has been a different person coming every month, no consistency… has one person who doesn’t believe in killing anything, pushing his views on you and yet he’s an exterminator??? Absolutely would not recommend! Oh but they have no issue in sending you that bill every month…

This review and five stars goes out to Tim Mitchell, my technician. Thank you for coming out when I call and caring about following the ant trails!

I’d give them no stars if it were an option. DO NOT hire this company they are horrible. They do a bad messy job and it doesn’t work. They come out late to their appt. they didn’t even show up to their last appt that THEY made. I called several times and they told me they would call me back. NEVER DID. Then they expect payment for not doing their job. Ha. Go to anyone else. Stay away from this company.

I only give one star because I can’t give zero stars. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever delt with. I would have to start with how the company consists of a bunch of people who are completely incompetent at what they do. They make sure their incompetent people only come after they missed a couple of scheduled appointments. I could go into detail about the problem we have had with One rat that you better believe we still have a problem with, but I won’t, all I can say is DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Once again I cannot stress how imperfessional this company is or how NO one single company has frustrated me more. it absolutely blows my mind how they haven’t been sued to the point of going out of business.

I have been with the company since 1991. I have four houses serviced by them. My houses are all in top neighborhoods (Madrona, Wallingford, North Beach). Unfortunately, Seattle is rat city. Really, I grew up in NYC and I never saw as many rats as in Seattle. I guess rats have good taste, just like people.
My tenants do not like rats and I hate their guts.
I thank RediNational for being there for me all those years. I especially comment Jonathan Midwood. Not only does he know his stuff (and has no fear of rats), but he also has great people skills and has always worked well with my tenants… whom I care about greatly!

One star is being generous. I have been using their service since June and am trying to get out of the contractual agreement. In no particular order, here are the Top Ten reasons you should NOT use Redi-​National:
1) They don’t show up on the day of the confirmed appointment.
2) They show up unannounced on days when they have no appointment.
3) They arrive late on the day of the appointment, sometimes over an hour late.
4) They do not respond to email requests for appointments.
5) Their after-​hours phone line frequently mixes up messages.
6) Their internal daytime staff in Seattle frequently mixes up messages.
7 – 8) The turnaround time to home inspection is at least a two-​day delay. Also, they do not take new appointments over the weekend. Thus, if you smell a dead rodent in your home on a Saturday morning, put on a TB mask or bust out the incense– Redi-​National isn’t coming to help you!
9) The competence of their staff is inconsistent. I called Redi-​National to locate and remove the dead rat in my attic. Their inspector came into my home, made a huge mess on the floors with attic insulation and mud from his shoes, and walked out without acknowledging or apologizing for the this mess. Most importantly, he did not find the dead rat. The following week, a different inspector came out and immediately found the rat. The second inspector noted that the first inspector *should* have found that rat.
10) Their «while others just control, we eliminate» slogan. Every week, I smell a different dead rat up in my meticulous attic. It’s appalling how they haven’t been able to control the problem, let alone eliminate it.
Tip: if, for some reason, you must use Redi-​National in Seattle, request Corey as your inspector.

Showed up over two hours late the first day.
Forgot to finish work 100%
Was scheduled on a Tuesday for return trap inspection. Was rescheduled to Wednesday, got a call again on wedsneday and rescheduled once more until Thursday.
Called Tuesday to have work completed. Then again on Thursday. Once again was told I’d get a call back. And then finally on Monday I called again and got a hold of someone to come back to finish work.
Monday comes around, get a call 10mins before appt at 8. to say my guy was sent somewhere else and someone else was gonna come to me. Wtf?!? Said he’d be here at 9. Guy calls at 850 says he’ll be there in an hour. Shows up at 10. Comes into house and says oh I’m not prepared for this job, it’s a two man job cause of the vents in the ceiling. Wtf?!?
Hour after he finishes, inspection comes to recheck traps and what not. No appt was made he never called in advance. It says on paper work to make sure to call, as well as check crawl space. He never check crawl space either. Which is what I paid 3k dollars for to get redone. The heck would you not check the most important part.
Bunch of idiots I swear.

We found ourselves in the unfortunate situation of hearing some scratching in our attic. I’m kind of a princess and don’t really want to live with the critters so my husband googled for pest control, found Redi and made an appointment. Once he told me who he chose, I checked Unilocal and had a mini panic attack and almost told him to cancel the appointment because the reviews aren’t so stellar. But because there were a few good reviews for specific technicians, we gave them a try and I’m glad we did.
We got an appointment for the next day at 8:00am. They called Saturday evening to push the appointment back an hour and then again Sunday morning to push it back another hour. I almost deducted a star for this (do your own star math if you’d like) but because I liked our tech so well and felt like he was being straight with us on the reasons– I didn’t.
Our tech was Shannon Fernandez and he arrived a little bit after 10:00. He went into our attic (a feat even WE couldn’t accomplish) and asked us some questions about the noises we were hearing. After his visual inspection and us explaining what we were hearing and when, he surmised that a squirrel had made its way in to our attic. He told us great information about how he knew it was a squirrel versus a rat (louder, left droppings at the entrance, noises could be heard at all times of day and night) and then he went to work.
He inspected our crawl space, the attic, and the perimeter of the house. My brother has inspected our crawl space before and said it looked good, so when Shannon told us that it looked great he passed my little test of integrity.
Overall, the work cost $ 149. The inspection was free but the work included securing the entrance to our attic, which wasn’t honestly something either of us were interested in doing. He also gave us the information, the peace of mind that it wasn’t a RAT and the fact that the work was guaranteed.
I’m thankful our experience was good. It could have been specific to Shannon. I would use them again in the future (God forbid) but would definitely make sure to call Shannon directly.

I must be honest, I’m not happy with my overall experience with Redi National but the only reason I’ve stuck with them is because I like my assigned technician, Drake Perry. I have a bad odorous house ant problem and Drake is very knowledgeable and actually cares about my ant issue. A couple of the other people I’ve spoken to at the company, it was obvious that they could care less about what I was saying (I’m going to post a separate review for the company overall after this). Redi National needs more people like Drake since he actually cares.

The problem I have with the company is their management. It’s clear that it’s very Ponzi-​scheme ish. They’re out for money and hooking new customers and will do anything to get you to sign up for the monthly treatments without providing details on what you just signed. They don’t give their technicians the necessary tools and support they need to actually do their job properly, and I’ve never felt that they care about their customers. There’s a reason why the reviews here are so bad and why most of them are about the management.

Redi National was a huge dissapointment. First points of contact were great, followed by an incompetent technician, half a$$ed work, and no call/​no shows (yes, more than one). And to top it all off, upper management shrugs off complaints, no follow through, wont return calls. Receptionist that I talked to the SECOND time the tech no call/​no show didn’t so much as apologize, put me on hold while I was talking, raised her voice to me, and was snotty as hell. I have been in customer service for a long time, and this is not how you treat people. Don’t waste your time, or your money with this company.

I called these folk and they arrived at my house within an hour and Emilio sorted out my wasp issue. He was informative and professional. He spent an hour drilling and injecting some toxic stuff. When I came home everything was cleaned up and tidy. Great service, reasonable cost and super quick. Thanks guys.

So far, so good. Actually, so far it has been excellent. I called them because we were worried about bed bugs and the woman who answered the phone was helpful and friendly. She understood the sense of urgency and scheduled a technician to take a look that afternoon. The technician, Shannon, called me 10 minutes later to ask if he could meet earlier and was at my house in moments.
Shannon was BEYOND thorough. He first looked at the dead bugs that we had and instantly determined that they were not bed bugs and then proceeded to tell me what to look for when worried about bed bugs.
He got down on hands-​and-​knees checking around baseboards, looked around in the basement, checked every inch of the perimeter for rats, then hopped up on the roof to check for entry points for rodents. My roof is steep and he was scaling it, investigating, basically just doing a really thorough and good job.
There’s a lot of griping on here about the service plan but Shannon was not pushy about it. I am not a sucker for service plans and 99% of the time turn them down, but they were able to hook up a better deal if I went with the service package. He was flexible and allowed for me to pay for just a partial plan.
If they blow it during the return visits, I will update to reflect that, but this has been a great experience on the front end.
P. S.- This «estimate» was really a full blown consultation and was free as hell. I had another company come out for a «consultation» which was the guy half-​assing the look-​around, telling me that the plan was to «catch the rodents» and then dropped a $ 75 charge on me.

I had them out to abate my attic. The home had a infection at some point prior to my purchasing it. I wanted it cleaned treated and new insulation up to code. I contracted Redi-​National for monthly pest & rodent prevention after the abatement. They used bait traps and eco-​safe spray (safe for humans and dogs) to the perimeter of my home, garage and barn.
Since I had originally contacted them for abatement of my attic before I finalized my home purchase, they set the appointment up for the Monday following the closing (purchase) on the home.
They removed the old, compressed attic insulation (there was only 3 inches in my 1960’s home), cleaned and treated the attic for pests, then installed 18″ of blow-​in insulation, (up to R-​40 rating now).
Then, every month for a year, they would text or call to inform me of my coming monthly inspection. They would examine my home’s crawlspace and attic, garage and barn for evidence of a re-​infestation. I haven’t had any pests or rodents in the home since Redi-​National treated my attic; this was done in November 2013.
My monthly inspection was $ 78, and the original abatement/​cleaning process was an 8 hour job but a crew and ran approximately $ 4000. I feel the money was well spent, as my home is warm in the cold weather now and I have no pests!

We had a pretty hefty fruit fly problem that didn’t go away like we thought it would come fall/​winter and despite trying EVERYTHING under the sun to address the problem ourselves nothing helped. We called Redi because they were 1) the only company that seems to answer the phone on weekends and 2) the only company that would come out right away. They basically told me they would have to bomb the flies which is what i figured would happen since I tried everything else already. Two days later they came it to do that as scheduled and the next day was seriously one of the best days of my life. I saw maybe one or two flies around which I thought was awesome. They came out to do another bombing a week later to get the ones that had hatched and are scheduled for a checkup this week. Everything is a million times better. The price was pretty steep and I have no clue what another company would have charged me but I don’t really care because they were VERY quick to get the problem under control and have been good about taking care of it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never use them, but we had a collision accident with one of their drivers this morning. Not only do they magically not carry proof of insurance in their company vehicles, but trying to contact whoever has their insurance information is proving to be nearly impossible, both for us, and the other car in the accident. The lady on the phone was irritated I was calling and the guy in accounting wasn’t in the office, so she directed me to his voicemail. An hour later, I’m irritated as we cannot start the collision repair and rental car process without their insurance information. I call again and she’s super irritated and repeats the guy is not in until I really give her attitude and she transfers me to someone (I’m assuming someone mildly in charge) who also didn’t seem to have any answers but would get to It in a bit. (Ummmm?) We get a call from the other drivers insurance agent who is ALSO trying to get ahold of this company, to no avail. The professionalism is not. As a one car family of a toddler, we have things to do, and these people don’t care in he slightest. I can only imagine how they handle their poor customers. For having several offices in the pugent sound, I was assuming we would be able to deal with a corporate office with a simple process. Nope. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Worst company to ever call. Been here 3 times and found another bed bug tonight. I had to patch the walls and paint since I thought they were gone. NOT

I had a bee problem a few weeks ago. There were yellow jackets entering my home through a vent. All the other top rated bee guys on Unilocal were busy and I happen to see a Redi National truck drive by on my way to work. I looked up their reviews on Unilocal (medicore) and thought I’d give it a chance as I really wanted the bees gone.
They were very courteous on the phone and although the technician was a little late, I did appreciate they came out the same day and got to my place around 7:15pm. The tech looked at the problem and sprayed some chemicals to kill the bees. He said he used a low dose and it should be safe (even though we have kids and a cat in the house). He left and said to call the office to schedule a time for him to come back and clean out the nest.
The day after, I found dead bees on my deck and noticed a faint smell. I called the main office and the same guy came out the next day to clean out the nest.
Then the smell got worse. Turns out there was a huge nest and it was pretty deep in the vent so they sent out a second person who cleaned it out. Unfortunately, he didn’t clean out everything and the smell got worse (it smelled like a dead rat).
The first tech then came back out and found more traces of the nest deep in the hole but he couldn’t reach it. He called the main office and talked to «Phil». I assume Phil was the owner or someone important. They decided to use a large vent vacuum to suck out what they can. I was told Phil was going to come on a Sat morning so I waited for him. Phil never showed. I called the office who put me through to Phil and he told me there was no way he would be able to make it at that time. He said he was going to come later in the afternoon.
By this time, I’ve taken about 8 hours off of work over 5 different trips by Redi National.
I wasn’t happy but just wanted it taken care of.
Phil did come in the afternoon and vacuumed out what he could. He said there might be something left but there’s nothing else he can do. We paid for a nest removal yet they couldn’t do it. Phil said he’ll send someone tomorrow to sanitize and spray the vent to help neutralize the smell.
No one came and when I called the office, they tried to call Phil but he didn’t respond. They said Phil would call me to set up a time. Phil never called so I called the office again the next day. Same story and Phil never called.
It’s been over a week now. The smell is still there but fading, mainly because the hot weather here has subsided. I’m still not comfortable with a partial nest in my vent and will probably need to find another company to fully clean it out.
I wouldn’t use these guys again. I felt I was more than patient with them and they were good at responding and coming back initially but never fully resolved the issue. Then they stopped responding at all which was just unprofessional.
They gave me a one year warranty on the work. I don’t even know what that warranty means given they won’t call me back anymore.

PLEASE don’t bother calling them unless you love overpaying for services and being stuck under contract that they make very hard to cancel. Other businesses provide better service without the worthless commitment this company tries to convince you you need in order to eliminate pests. We ended up having to pay almost $ 80 each month for them to come and check traps that were usually empty anyway. They will act very helpful and are very responsive when you first call and then customer service is down the drain once they get you to sign on the dotted line. DON’T call them!!!

We caught a rat as it was trying to enter our living space one night, and it freaked us out. So, the next day I asked around at work and someone said they had used Redi-​National a few years before to address their rat problem. Well, I gave them a call and the operator said that she couldn’t get anyone out that day, but setup an appointment for the next day.
Now, let me say right now that their website says «Free Comprehensive Inspection» in the «Our Commitment» section. So, maybe I was expecting too much when the salesperson showed up. I’ll let you be the judge.
Well, the salesperson showed up on time for the most part and asked to take a look in our attic. They popped their head up there, did some ooo’s and ah’s, and after no more than a minute said «you’ve got rats» (Um, isn’t that why I called in the first place?)
Anyway, then they said it would be $ 695 + $ 71.95 a month. I was a little surprised, and I asked them if they wanted to look at anything else (you know, the free comprehensive inspection?). To which, they said no. I then asked what they intended to do, and they said «oh, we’ll lay x number of traps and seal up all the holes, and lay bait traps around your house and check them every month…» I kindly said that I would think about it, and let them go.
Then a little while later, I get a call saying that they had talked to their manager, and I could get $ 100 off if I signed up by that afternoon. But, it was only good if I signed up that afternoon. Now is when I really started feeling like I was dealing with a used car salesman, and decided to call another company.
When the other company came out, they actually did a full inspection of my house. Made recommendations, such as cutting back the trees and shrubs to get some clearance from the house. Told me exactly what they were going to do, as well as the entire plan to get rid of the rats. Then they quoted a price about half of what the Redi-​National salesperson did, and didn’t mention monthly service. So, I asked them if I needed monthly service, and they said it wasn’t a bad idea to ensure that the rats didn’t get back in, but they thought sealing the holes, trapping the existing rats, and cutting back the trees would get rid of the problem. Then they said I could pay them $ 50 every other month to set and check bait traps if I wanted to.
I am so glad that I trusted my instincts and did not use Redi-​National. Oh, and I just received another call from the Redi-​National salesperson, and they said that they had talked to their manager again, and they could give me a screaming deal of $ 295 and $ 66.95/month…Buyer Beware…
