At Seattle Drum Studio, we specialize in providing drum lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are tailored and unique to each individual, based upon their goals as a drummer.

History

Established in 2011.

Filled with a desire to make learning the drums easy and affordable to everyone, owner Jack Love established the Seattle Drum Studio in 2011.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Jack began playing music in the 5^th grade when his parents bought him a trumpet. His first formal instruction came from playing in his elementary and middle school band programs. Playing a brass instrument through the years has provided him with great insight into many styles of music, including orchestral, classical, jazz, and rock.

In high school, Jack began taking private trumpet lessons from David Lamoreaux, who had been his first elementary band director. After playing lead trumpet throughout high school, Jack went on to study music theory and education at the University of Kentucky. Shortly after college, Jack returned home to Seattle and joined the United States Army Reserve as both a trumpeter and a drummer.

Jack currently plays with several local Seattle groups, as well as taking on freelance gigs. In addition to performing, Jack found a love of teaching others how to play the drums. This love of teaching gave Jack to means by which to make Seattle Drum Studio a reality.
