The staff soon diagnosed my problem and presented economical options for solving it. They worked quickly and got back to me with what I needed before the end of the day.
They were courteous and good humored, too.

These guys were great! They were so great, in fact, that I’m genuinely confused about the lower rating.
From the get-​go, Simply Mac has exceeded my expectations. I called ahead to inquire about getting the battery replaced on my 2009 MacBook Pro. I played phone tag with Joel for a bit, but his phone presence was professional and helpful. Through a series of voicemails, he managed to figure everything out. He looked up my laptop via the serial number and set aside a battery so that I could just come in and have it replaced within a half hour. And that’s exactly what happened!
I showed up to the store, received a warm and humorous greeting from some of the staff, and immediately received the help I needed. No surprise charges. No bad news. And a tasty music playlist. While I waited, I witnessed the kind of care and patience the staff were giving the other customers. Truly impressive. In a half hour, I was walking out a happy customer with a fixed laptop! I will certainly be recommending Simply Mac.

I simply wanted to upgrade my SSD from 256GB to 512Gb on my macbook air, not a big deal. I called them, got a pricing for the entire work ($ 320), arrived to the store and was offered a completely different price ($ 450) including 70 $ for a temporary external hard drive that would be used to back up my SSD… come on, don’t you have a single hard drive in your lab that can be used for that???
Other than the seemingly friendly gustier when I came in «hello my friend», the tech guy that priced me the upgrade was completely unreliable.
I would never go to this place again, there are plenty others around, and would not recommend others to do so as well.

Very disappointed ~ brought my mac here for a diagnosis at their $ 50 charge. I made sure they knew that this was a work computer and I had deadlines fast approaching. They said to expect 5 business days, just in case they needed to order a part due to the year of my computer. Days passed without a call from them… I left a 3 voice messages asking for an update/​call back! An entire week had passed, I called their sales number and connected with someone, phew! I was told they hadn’t gotten to my computer yet. I finally found out the logic board would cost $ 475 to repair (but didn’t give me a time estimate). Never mind! It would’ve been so nice if Simply Mac could communicate with their customers.

This place has the absolute worst customer service, and it seems like they may be running some sort of scam operation. Skip this place and make an appointment directly with Apple, which operates much more efficiently and professionally.
I brought my MacBook Pro here because it wouldn’t boot up. They performed a diagnostic test, told me I need a new battery and it would cost $ 130. Expensive for just a battery, but I need my computer so I agreed. They said it would take 6 days, but may be ready sooner. After 6 days I hadn’t heard from them, so I tried calling. And calling. They do not answer the phone. I stopped into the store. They said they are very busy and my computer is in a queue to have a diagnostic test done. I said they already did a diagnostic and it’s just waiting for a battery. They gave me a song and dance about how they can only order batteries when each computer comes up in the queue so they haven’t ordered the battery yet. They refused to give me another estimate of when the work would be done, saying they were busy.
Long story short, I returned to the store days later and a kind person (Alex) took out my computer, went in the back, and replaced the battery within 20 minutes while I waited. That seemed great, until I went home and realized my computer still wouldn’t boot. Since they don’t answer calls I had to return to the store again to speak with the manager. He was apologetic and offered to put my laptop at the front of the line for additional (or perhaps intial; it’s all unclear) diagnostic tests. He wouldn’t even guarantee they would complete the diagnostics within one day! Forget it! I wasn’t leaving my computer there more days. I took it to the Apple store, where they diagnosed the problem and fixed it in front of me within an hour, all for free.
I noticed many elderly people in this place, all confused, all frustrated that they had been trying to call, couldn’t get through, and weren’t sure when they were getting their machines back. I’m wondering if this place is running some sort of a scam.

Despite the other reviews, they provided excellent customer service. Perhaps they’re under new store management. I was very pleased. They didn’t charge me for the cable repair.
Note — I changed this rating from bad to excellent. I may have jumped the gun. I noticed that they responded to my first comment which I removed — it was regarding repairs. Everything is great and I recommend them.

Quick appointments and walk in service to hand over your machine but if you need repairs or advice other than what can be done without leaving it behind, beware. Long wait times for repairs. I was quoted 7 – 10 business days and didn’t get a call or response from phone messages I left until business day 11 (really 15 days).
Business day 11, they told me to call Apple Care then instructed that it would be best to send the machine to Apple. Add another week to the repair time. Phone message directs you to the web-​site to get the new number. Call the new number, hear it ring 20+ times until you can leave a message, then wait 48 – 72 hours for a call back from a tech. Can’t recommend them for repairs.
