Standard Starbucks experience frequented by Amazonians who work in South Lake Union. The line at this Starbucks is often shorter than the larger Starbucks nearby on Terry Ave.

I ordered a tall iced tea and the younger, blonde barista charged me for a green tea latte. When I confirmed that it was a tall iced tea, she rolled her eyes and threw away the previous cup, but didn’t refund me for the drink. So rude. At least the tea came out quickly.

I’m a regular at this Starbucks. The staff are awesome. Extremely kind and helpful. I once accidentally ordered the wrong drink(my fault completely) and they offered(and even insisted) that they remake it. This Starbucks is the epitome of excellent customer service in my opinion. Even if I didn’t work in the area, I’d probably make the trek over for my Grande Chai.

This Starbucks definitely has the friendliest staff ever. They move quickly and the environment is great. I do a lot of my informational interviews here and it is quiet enough for them. I like to come here and work sometimes if I want to be in a coffee shop environment to focus.

Yes sir, this is a Starbucks that is in the Group Health /Microsoft build down on Westlake. But don’t let that get to you, because it’s a location that moves quickly and can give you a fix that makes you smile. So what makes this location a 4 star Unilocal location? Well you can say many things, it’s a coffee shop if you want the quick burst of coffee; bit it’s also a place where the staff get to know you, and before you know it. BOOM, they know who you are, what you like and will have it ready, as soon as you order. That’s good customer service. They are consistent, and people there understand that we are all humans, and they know how to treat you like one, and in return, go there and smile, because you are going to have one in sight, as soon as you walk in.

Given the volume of customers coming through in the morning hours, they do a good job of keeping the line moving. Generally clean with ample seating.

I’ve turned into a regular here as it’s close to the shuttle I take to Redmond almost daily. It’s a normal Starbucks so not much to say other than the service is attentive and very quick. It gets busy in the mornings and there’s a line normally to get service. But, it goes quickly and easy with my Starbucks app to pay the bill with my smartphone.

Not much to say, this is a Starbucks. You already know the menu, you already know the prices. So why is this Starbucks better than the many others you can find in a one mile radius? Because they have the friendliest staff. Seriously.

There are certain things you come to expect from Starbucks. Consistent cup of coffee. A friendly person behind the counter. Right? This has been my experience since moving to the NW and while I try to limit my coffee outings when possible to non-chain coffee houses, when I am at work and really need that skinny mocha, I go to the closet place possible and for me it is this Starbucks. My experience here has been frustrating to say the least. Out of the last 5 visits, I have gotten what I ordered exactly one time. Ask for a skinny no whip mocha, get a latte. Ask for a piece of banana choc chip bread and get a scone. Ask for a coffee and get. wait, that’s right nothing! My order didn’t come up after watching 5 people behind me get theirs. Sigh. I can tell walking in the door now what is going to happen based on who is running things. If I see certain baristas, I sincerely go back upstairs and drink the free coffee in my office. I really really want to like these guys and gals, but I can’t afford to pay for my daily grind and not get what I paid for.

Would love to thank this particular Starbucks crew. You have become an integral and important part of my daily routine. I wouldn’t give it up for the world! You make the 8 – 5 grind much more tolerable. MAJORKUDOS to Mr. Royal for taking over and recruiting the perfect staff for this location. All you guys do such a great job each and everyday. Keep it up! BTW…good job on maximizing space!

The baristas are super chipper in the morning.(Typical Starbucks style). The service is fast and the girls who work here are cute too. Just have to watch out for the step down as you exit. I embarrased myself when i totally missed the step and spilled my coffee all over.

«Crazy» is about how you have to rate this location. Crazy busy that is! I usually stop in here on my way, or coming back from various areas of the city. Being located outside the Westlake Center, I suspect this may be the busiest location in Seattle. The baristas here are very friendly as with most Starbucks around town.

As a former employee, I have to tell everyone that all those friendly smiles are actually genuine. I worked with some of the nicest people in the world there, and they’re always willing to go out of their way for a customer. I love heading back over there and hearing them yelling in the back, «Hey, the girl who worked here for a month is back AGAIN!» AND they know not only my crazy orders, but the crazy orders of both my bosses. They’re just awesome.

Me: Hi. I have no money, have snot all over my sleeve, more snot AND mascara running down my face, and my goat-like smell is probably offending the other customers, BUT! The power in my office went out and since I was already having a shit day, I took that as a sign that I should run around the lake, HOWEVER! I did not properly hydrate and there is a good chance I am going to fully HURL if I don’t get some agua pronto. Help please? Barista: Sure! :))))) We don’t charge for water. Here you go!(hands me delicious vente ice water). Have a great day! :))))))) Whatever the fuck is in their corporate Kool-Aid, I want me some. Still go to Vivace.
