Christopher S.

Business Owner

Christopher K. Steuart is an attorney, licensed in Washington State and the U S District Court for the Western District of Washington and the U S Court of Appeals Ninth Circuit. He successfully argued before the Washington Court of Appeals for reversal of an order on use of unproven technology.

He consulted in support the defense computer forensics team in U S v. Sami Omar Al-​Hussayen.

Mr. Steuart has experience as a computer forensic examiner and in information security for a Fortune 50 Company. Prior to that, he served as an Electronic Warfare Officer and Special Security Officer in the U S Army and the US Army Reserve.

He has presented classes and continuing legal education on security of information systems, investigation of criminal use of computers. He has presented at: American Society for Industrial Security, Agora, Northwest Computer Technology Crime Analysis Seminar, Computer Technology Investigators Network & National Institute for Government Innovation and others.
