Question– What is an appropriate tip for a $ 30 massage? I usually tip 20% but don’t know I should be tipping more since this is such a good value. I loved the massage but the payment part is awkward for me.

It was not very good. It was definitely NOT reflexology. He did lots of sweeps, slaps, hammer blows, and elbows on my back. These are not reflexology moves. The reflexology/massage work on the face was tentative and scant, the work done on the skull was not very complete. Most of the reflexology points are on the feet, which(I assume) is why they use the word«Feet» in the title — was given very short attention. Almost none of the reflexology points were stimulated. He did a lot of broad sweeps on my back, and poked his elbows along the spine, which was very uncomfortable, and has NO place in a reflexology massage. If they want to do Swedish massage, they should advertise it, and do it right. He started in the middle of a muscle, which is startling, and makes it contract instead of relax. He should have started at the connection, and relax into the middle, but he just pounding and poking. It was quite uncomfortable. I left feeling like I had been beat up. I’m hghly skeptical that he had a massage license.

I am a weekly regular at this amazing massage establishment. Tonight I had a fabulous massage by Ray. One hour,(should have done and hour and ½). Feeling so much better now. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The owners and the staff are top notch. For me, this type of massage is the best. The pressure relieves the stress that accumulates in my body. You can request very firm pressure or light depending on what you care for. The environment is great communal yet private. The price so affordable that you can do it weekly which definitely makes it healing. Greatest deal going in Ballard by miles!

Wow. This place is stellar! Way more than ‘just a foot massage.’ this is a front to back, head to toe massage with special attention to those beautiful feet that keep you standing all day. Polite and discreet, perfect pressure and I feel amazing. The price of $ 30 is worth every penny. Be sure to tip!

The overall experience was ok. Def. not better than Imperial Foot Massage — I probably wouldn’t come again. I’m from NYC so I have high expectation for reflexology massages and this place just didn’t fit the bill

We called ahead to be sure there was space for 2 at the same time. They greeted us at the door and immediately got started. We were asked if we preferred hard or soft massage and we both said hard. I think the degree of pressure is decided by the masseuse, because my was not as «hard» as my husbands, but we both thought the intensity was perfect. We will DEFINITELY go back. It’s a great deal and the massage is wonderful. Thanks!

Love love love! My boss gave me and my coworkers a gift certificate for a massage and couldn’t be happier! It was such an awesome massage, really nice people, and I’m definitely coming back!

I love this place. They are super nice and it’s a clean facility, compared to others. I try to go here once or twice a month, as it’s a great stress release and relaxing. For anyone not used to this type of massage, it’s pretty tough– but you feel great afterwards!

I LOVE this place. If I find a have a free hour I like to drop in for a massage. They work you over, it’s not a fluffy massage. If you want them to go lighter just tell them. A great deal at $ 30/hr.

Pretty darn good for the clothes-on all-in-one sausage party that it is. Smells like a band-aid or something when you walk in, but you get used to it. I’d say they should light some scented candles or something? Pressure was great though and they got a lot of good spots. Definitely worth hitting up!

Most painful, rough massage I’ve ever had. This guy was brutal. I seriously think he was trying to hurt me. Plus it smelled like cigarette smoke. Won’t be back.

Just came from a massage here and it was great! I was hesitant to give Chinese reflexology massage another go, as several years ago I tried it elsewhere and it was far from enjoyable. My husband felt the same and I had to bribe him with wine to try it again. ;) I have to say, we were both pleasantly surprised. After we left, hubby said ‘I think that may have been a life changer’. Yes, it’s a communal room and you remain clothed, but I was still able to relax. We went late on a Friday and were the only patrons there for the majority of our massage. They start you off with a warm foot soak while they massage your head, temples, neck. Then they work their way down. It’s full head to toe attention. And at $ 30/hour, you really can’t beat it. The amount of pressure my guy gave was just perfect. I do like it on the stronger side though. Everything was clean. And the massage bed was actually quite comfortable. I usually find the face cradles to be very uncomfortable and I actually strain my neck more, but theirs was just right. Hubby and I will definitely be back. Thinking of doing this biweekly it’s so good and affordable!

I went here for the first time last week and was really happy. This was a strong massage from start to finish. Hopefully I get the same person next time!

Just had a fantastic massage here! I have had Chinese foot massages before and this was the best so far. They really do a full body massage with your clothes on thought. I will be back thanks for the great hour + massage.

I just discovered this place and, WOW! It is my first experience with reflexology massage and I couldn’t be more impressed. I’ve never experienced anything like it. They do a fully clothed, head-to-toe(literally– head, neck, shoulders, arms fingers, back, thighs, calves, feet, toes…) massage that focuses on various pressure points where stress seems to build up. It reminds me of acupuncture and feels more like healing medicine than guilty pleasure. I’ve gone twice and both people seemed to really know their craft, with super strong hands in spite of both both being small framed people. It’s a full hour, deep tissue(not a skin-deep Swedish style) massage for $ 30. The room is clean and nice, and the people are warm and kind. The best $ 30(plus tip) I’ve ever spent!

Great place for a massage. Not only do you get a foot massage but also a head/neck/back massage for $ 30. The place is nice and clean and the staff is good. Overall a great value. I also like the extended hours. Great if you get off of work late.

I work where I am standing on my feet and running around for 40+ hours a week. This place is a nice treat to the end of a long work week. The staff is always very friendly, the place and linens are clean, and I have also enjoyed the relaxing massage. My feet are aching when going in, but feel amazing when I leave If you have any injuries, neck, shoulder, or are looking for a deep tissue massage, this place is not for you. You need to go spend the $ 120 + for that. And I have paid far more money for a less relaxing, and more painful massage than what is offered at Two Smiling Feet! But if you are looking for a relaxing pick me up, this place is awesome. And for $ 30, worth every penny!
