I work a block away from Veggie grill and ordered Sonoran Bowl during my first visit. Just loved it! Really good flavors and the service was very friendly. Definitely coming here again.

Veggie grill is an amazing plant based(vegan) restaurant! We had the Buffalo wings and«Chicken» sandwiches; couldn’t tell the difference from real meats! A great alternative and delicious food! Clean, friendly service, and they had beers! 10⁄10 would eat again.

When I feel like being healthy for the day I come her during my lunch to get some food. So far the food that I tired I really enjoy it. The sweet potatoes fries is the BOMB and it comes with this yummy dipping sauce. The only thing that I didn’t like too much was the cheese that went on the nacho. It made my tummy upset but i think it’s because it’s not real cheese. IDK but i’m still going to go back to try the other food on the menu. All the staff is also very friendly.

We’ve been there 3 times now and the food is great. Had the buffalo ‘chicken’ sandwich and fries for lunch — yummy. Staff is super friendly.

Great food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food is a treat for vegetarians/vegans. Delicious seasonal menu. My favorites: Harvest bowl Sonoran Bowl with Blackened tempeh All Hail Kale salad with blackened tempeh. Fries are crispy and well seasoned. Iced tea flavors are really good too. I ended up having to pack 2/3rds of it to go because the portions were so large that the nutritious and healthy sonoran bowl add up to a whopping 900 calories with the added protein. They offer good deals if you download the Veggie Grill app.

While food was clearly fresh, it tasted gross and the dine in service was seriously lacking-as in there wasn’t any. I don’t recommend the BLTA. Paid over $ 12 for a sandwich and a bottle of water.

Most people who go here probably know that this is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant — we did not. Drawn in from the sidewalk by a large sandwich board sporting a massive«chickin» burger under the catchy banner«We like our protein!» we were none the wiser that misspelled menu items were tofu alternatives to the protein we thought we were ordering. My bad, we should have asked. Blackened«chickin» is not even a close approximation of fire roasted chicken. My wife cooks us a pretty decent tofu burger, so I’m not averse to tofu when done right. This was not it – for me, anyway. The rest of my salad was pretty good. My wife’s meal looked like a dull gruel that even Oliver would not have asked for more. The Mac & Cheese looked good but went uneaten. I think their efforts to come up with fake alternatives to the real thing have not succeeded.

I like Veggie Grill and I’ve been to several other locations many many times. This Veggie Grill is subpar compared to their other stores. The veggie is not fresh and service is slow. I really want to like this place but I’ve been disappointed several times there.

As with any Veggie Grill I have been to, the food was delicious. Meat eaters are always satisfied and my children both thought they were eating a «real» burger. I usual get a salad and at «chicken» which adds protein. I just wish we had a Veggie Grill in Phoenix. I’ve now been to the one in downtown Long Beach, CA and this one. Staff is superb as well. Please come to AZ!

I keep returning here for the tasty food and excellent service. It seems to be not very busy on the weekends, so that’s the perfect time to go.

I. Just. Love. Veggie. Grill. Where have you been my entire life? Sometimes you want to eat healthy, so you opt for the bowls that come chocked full of roasted veggies, quinoa, etc(try the Sonoran bowl, it’s Mexican w black beans, pickled jalapenos, roasted corn, dangggg it’s my fave!); sometimes you want to go bad news and order the Buffalo Bomber Wrap(veggie protein chick’n with buffalo sauce). Hot damn, they’re awesome. I absolutely love VG, much of their ingredients are organic, everything is so flavorful my mouth is watering now as I write this. Omnivores, vegans, vegetarians — all are welcomed, none will be disappointed! Sigh. I could eat here every day…

I must give this place 5 stars Let’s start with number one reason why I give it 5 stars VEGAN«McDs» yes please! Great customer service check! On point with a smile! Food is amazing from the carrot cake to the cauliflower smash potatoes. If I can give a extra star for not having soda I would. Now when you talk about a place to eat when your a vegan or vegetarian I would definitely recommend yoto check this place out. Satisfaction guaranteed If your new they will give you a meal«appetizer» on the house… Just let them know when you’re ordering. Plus you have the wonderful app that pretty much gives you free food when you snap a shot of your receipt. You can place an order from the app also. Make life so much easier for you. Don’t forget about your free birthday meal.

Great spot to grab an inexpensive veg bite with plenty of healthy options. Kind of a fast food feel but everyone was really nice and it was fun gawking at the Amazon campus, employees and shuttle busses.

Once upon a time, my date and I thought we should eat something ‘healthy’ for dinner. Veggie Grill is conveniently located near our workplaces so we decided to go here. This location is very empty on weekday evenings. When we arrived, I almost thought they were closed, it was so deserted inside. The interior is very clean and fresh looking. We got the Santa Fe crispy chickin, quinoa power salad, and sweetheart fries. The sweetheart fries are great! I loved the creamy dipping sauce it came with(chipotle something? I’ve forgotten already). The quinoa power salad is very good(loved the crunch of the nuts, the beans, and the texture of the quinoa itself) and I got full, but I did not feel really satisfied after. My date seemed to really like his chickin sandwich. Veggie Grill’s fake chicken is very good, I had it on a previous visit and even for a meat-eater like me, I really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable and the food is very well put together. Try it if you’re in the area!

I have eaten at Veggie Grill many times, including this location(South Lake Union in Seattle), the other two Seattle locations, and one Portland location. I follow an ethical vegan lifestyle, which means that I do not eat any animal products. Veggie Grill does not appear to use the word«vegan» anywhere on or in their stores, which I expect is a part of their marketing strategy. The term«vegan» carries some stereotypes that would probably cause some potential customers to avoid Veggie Grill. However, Veggie Grill serves entirely vegan food. Think of it as «plant-based Red Robin.» The prices are great, the food always tastes good, the food selection on the menu is just right, the staff has always been courteous, and the food is always served quickly. They have a smartphone app that lets you upload your receipts to earn points for free food on future trips. Every now and then, I get emails for free menu items, and occasionally the app has offers for free food. I also got a free birthday meal! I have taken my non-veg friends and family to Veggie Grill, and they have loved it too! I love seeing a chain restaurant appeal to the omnivorous masses. Veggie Grill shows people that you don’t have to eat meat and animal products to eat tasty and satisfying food!

I love Veggie Grill. I’d like to eat more vegetarian/vegan food and if there were more places like Veggie Grill it would be so much easier. Sometimes I’m in the mood for actual veggies and there are great dishes with them as the main focus, like the Bombay Bowl. On other days I want some of their foods that imitate meat, like their Chickin patty sandwiches. I like all of their locations and I would have given this one a five-star rating, were it not for their terrible parking situation. The whole SLU area is kind of a nightmare these days and I avoid it as much as I can. But I do make the trip to this place. OH! and the carrot cake too!

This place makes me so happy! When I went vegetarian last year, I knew that I would miss the convenience of fast food, but I wasn’t going to miss the unhealthiness. Veggie Grill wins on all of the levels. It is quick and easy(although not particularly cheap, but you get what you pay for), and it has so many options for vegetarians. For those who don’t ride the fake meat train, there are a lot of salad and bowl options. For those of us that fully dig a «chik’n» sandwich, they know how to do it right. I always leave VG feeling full but not sick. I dig it. A tip worth knowing is to sign up for their email club. I have gotten coupons for free entrees, as well as buy one get one.

Veggie Grill went beyond my expectations. I was expecting mediocre, fast vegan food since it is a chain store. None of that was true expect that the food comes fast! You order and pay for your food first and take a seat. We came here for lunch and had a bowl of butternut squash soup, Sonoran winter bowl and B.T.L.A. The butternut squash soup was thick and creamy topped with pumpkin seeds and piece of fried sage. I had the Sonoran winter bowl and it was so good! Black beans, quinoa, roasted carrots, avocado, jalapeños, tortilla strips, tomato corn salsa, all drizzled with a roasted red pepper sauce. Simple ingredients yet such complex flavors. My bf had the B.T.L.A and loved it. Smokey tempeh«bacon», tomatoes, avocado, cilantro pesto arugula, aioli mayo on sourdough bread. Clean and nice ambience with plenty of seating. We left completely satisfied. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

Although this is local chain and maybe has a bad reputation for all its fake meat(e.g. chickin’), it actually offers a variety of super delicious salads, warm grain bowls, and sides that are completely fake-meat or tofu free. It’s a great, affordable lunch option for those of us who avoid dairy/gluten/meat and want something quick but still satiating and satisfying. There are locations all around the PNW, and 3 in Seattle at the University Village, South Lake Union, and Downtown. I was first drawn there for their Mac-n-Cheese, which my boyfriend claimed tastes as good as the kid stuff. Although it’s made with quinoa pasta, and some concoction of vegan cheese and cashews, it is indeed pretty yummy, and has the creamy sticky consistency that Kraft does. It actually inspired me to try my own plant-based vegan/gluten-free mac-n-cheese at home — recipe post coming soon! My favorite dishes here are their many varieties of bowls and salads. The Harvest Bowl combines super grains, kale, mushrooms, and miso gravy with hemp seeds(optional vegan sausage or tofu) and is so hearty and delicious. Their Bombay Bowl is equally satisfying with a blend of herb-roasted vegetables, super grains, green curry sauce, kale, white beans, coconut milk, and almonds. On the more refreshing side, the Quinoa Power Salad mixes quinoa with red onion, bell pepper, avocado, fennel, cannellini beans, carrots, almonds, currants, mint, hemp seeds, kale, and romaine with a citrus vinaigrette. It’s quite a beautiful salad too. Overall, this is definitely a pit stop worth making amidst a busy day, because you are sure to be left feeling rejuvenated and your tastebuds happy.
