Bastoni serves Southeast Asian street food in a dynamic, warm and colorful setting complete with bar, lounge, patio and table seating. Bastoni’s menu offers include Bastoni’s famous Banh mis, wet noodles, dry noodles, curries and delicious salads all priced reasonably from $ 6 – 14. The Bar at Bastoni has developed some interesting specialty cocktails including the Chili-​bird, Thai-​garita, and the Troikas — all with interesting fresh ingredients and unique flavors. History

Established in 2011.

Steven Peyer, previously of Café Lago in Seattle and Peter Lowell’s, brings his extensive experience and passion for creating soul warming Italian cuisine to the Forchetta side of the business. His menu will highlight items from the wood-​fired pizza oven and wood-​fired grill, classic salads, risottos, and hand-​cut pastas. Jamilah Nixon, most recently of Marinitas in San Anselmo, lived and traveled in Thailand where she got hooked on creating simple, delicious and fresh takes on Asian favorites such as Banh Mi, noodles dishes, curries and larb salads. Her focus is on developing the Bastoni menu as well as Bastoni to go, which will offer, grab and go selections and beverages. The bar, which is a part of Bastoni, will be open daily from 11:30 to midnight, with a late night menu.

Patrick Wynhoff, recently CEO of ChefsCatalog, who spent much of his career at Williams-​Sonoma, Inc. says «I’ve traveled the world and Steven and Jamilah have consistently made the best food I’ve had… anywhere!
