I love this place, I used to frequent here in the late 90’s, I had not been for years. Recently went back and new owner has bought in some lovely new items, giving the place a different lovely flair. Bath products and such things. The other part is lots of really awesome events. So happy this store continues to thrive in such wonderful magical ways. The new owner Phoenix is adorable.

Milk and Honey has been a wonderful resource for gifts, classes, and community ever since I moved here ten years ago. I feel right at home when I walk in, and I return often to find some new piece of jewelry or artwork to bring home with me. The new owners have taken a lot of care in choosing items that are not only beautiful, but also just what I’ve needed for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions. The staff is very friendly and helpful, often offering advice and support — as well as a smile. We’re so lucky to have this shop. (I was able to attend the 20^th birthday celebration this past weekend, and from the smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s clear I’m not the only one who loves this shop!)

I’ve been shopping at Milk and Honey for 8 years and love it! The shop has a great vibe — super calm, friendly and available staff who are knowledgable about the products sold without being pushy. The new owners have brought in a lot of new products from local vendors. I used to mainly just buy jewelry there, but now there are tons of handmade bath and self care products, custom candles, art work by one of my favorite local artists, along with the standard books, journals, and jewelry that the previous owner stocked.
And the events! There are lots of great classes and gatherings going on, from tarot to women’s entrepreneurship. I’m super pleased with the direction of the new store and hope to see it thrive for 20 more years!

Really surprised at the service today. I took a friend here from out of town to pick something to remind her of her trip. The only girl behind the counter never greeted us, not even a simple smile. She never even got off her chair, because her phone was plugged into the wall. She stuffed her face with food, while never looking up from her phone. My friend said that she would never buy anything there, because of how rude the employee was.

Milk&Honey is one of Sebastopol’s many metaphysical shops. Unfortunately, their café is gone. It’s a beautiful little place, with Goddess-​themed artwork, incense, an altar. Their «erotica» chest is pretty tame (and not that well-​endowed) They have lovely cards from an artist from nearby Cazadero who participates in Sebastopol’s Goddess Crafts Faire in December. Milk&Honey is a perfumed garden.

Such a cute little store, I found a beautiful necklace there for only $ 20! I will visit again next time I am there.

Gorgeous shop with high quality items, excellent customer service and even better owners. Sebastopol is lucky to have such a high quality metaphysical shop in town.

A wonderful gift shop with many options of jewelry, candles, statues, figurines, artwork, altar pieces, cards and trinkets. It is very female-​centered shop with many gift ideas for mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, etc. There is a nice ambiance and helpful staff. It is a nice place to shop to support local artisans, as well as a great Sebastopol stop for those visiting the area.

This was from about a year ago: Customer service was like the coffee; bitter — left a bad taste in my mouth. The shop was bedecked with lots of luscious items– but the woman eating lunch who was working was actually off putting

The woman working today was extremely helpful and pleasant. She made my day better. I’m glad I walked in and I would definitely go back.

Such a neat store. Beautifully arranged and so much to look at. I think we spent at least 30min there, and could have spent more! Lots of goddess goodies. Nice little selection of books, cloths, & art. They even had free tea and couches. I just wish everything wasn’t so expensive! We also had our kids with us and I think they were pretty happy when we left. They had a kids area with toys but one of the ladies working there was very worried about the kids touching things. They weren’t being careless, just wanted to look at stuff… Other than that, my experience here was pretty good and I would absolutely come back. just maybe without the kiddos

Wonderful store with really beautiful offerings. I go here for all my gift giving needs and sometimes just to browse and enjoy the beautiful ambiance. Great jewelry selection, expanding variety of natural fiber clothes that are soft and flowing, and wonderful sacred objects for altar and ritual.
The staff are so sweet, warm, friendly, and helpful. I always feel blessed to have gone into this store.

Milk and Honey is a beautiful store filled with beautiful things. We also enjoyed the tea and lounge (and basket of baby toys) while visiting.

This store is so Sebastopol.
From the herbal elixers to the ‘love your vagina’ books and even handmade feather earrings you won’t see anything more sebastopolian. They have huge bowls of glitter here which I always must dip my fingers into because… glitter.
The earrings here always pull me in when walking on the street. I’ve botten a couple pieces here and they are all high quality made items. They have tons of gorgeous jewerly to look at plus various other womanly items ;)

This store is quite wonderful. It has a very relaxing vibe. It is one of the only places I’ve found Purple Moon clothing, reasonably priced. The salespeople are friendly and helpful. I especially love the jewelry! It’s always hard for me to leave Milk and Honey… so I’ll keep coming back.

Milk n. Honey has the vibes of being a mysterious eastern/​tibetan/​indian gura type of thing. these many artificats and pics on display to support this:
–jewelry, statues, candles, pendulums, herbal elixirs, art and journals, paintings.
and an injection of western influence: coffee (no doubt to help pay the bills)
brew (m. 2.50) ecco caffe, freshly brewed
–almost silky smooth, sliver of brashness.
–ecco santa rosa based
coffee drips:
–should grab the ambiance of coffee while you can,
–doubt you could get a great brew in the himalayans.

Love this place, especially for jewelry… I don’t live in Sebastopol anymore, but have to stop at Milk and Honey just about every time I’m back!
It’s a really cozy and comfortable space, and full of delightful things to buy. Just yesterday, I bought my little sister a beautiful moonstone necklace. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t yet.

I first discovered Milk & Honey store in 2007 while accompanying a friend who was going there in Sebastopol. There was clothing, jewelry, and items that mostly only women like, but there was also beautiful art, small figurines, artisan candles, and spiritually oriented books. I bought a hand painted wall piece my first visit.
Subsequent visits over the next year or two was to bring my girlfriend to buy her gifts. She loved some of the clothes as they were made from natural fibers, some fairly locally, and many had spiritually accented designs.
After that relationship ended, I did not come back for another two years. It was in late 2010 that I stumbled back into Milk & Honey when meeting up with a new friend I met in my Divorce Support group who lived in Sebastopol. It seemed like I lived a lifetime in those interim two years.
During that time Milk & Honey changed owners and completely changed the floor plan of the store. There was much more art on the walls like a gallery, and there was now a Goddess Lounge Café that served incredible Botanical Elixirs that have to be tasted to be believed!
That first year, 2010 to 2011, with my separation and divorce of my wife, was the worst of my entire lifetime. I became so despondent that I was officially and medically disabled. Sometimes the only activity of my day was to make it over to Milk & Honey to drink my elixirs and talk with Alyssa (the owner).
The Lounge area has a beauty and peacefulness that brought me great comfort. That combined with the elixirs, the beautiful paintings displayed everywhere, the intrinsic beauty of the store and merchandise, and most of all, the compassion of Alyssa made me feel I was receiving healing directly from God/​Goddess there.
Now, 2012, I am doing increasingly better and still go to Milk & Honey for the occasional elixir. I did recently buy a beautiful small painting by Shiloh Sophia McCloud there and whose paintings are everywhere in Milk & Honey.
As Alyssa is now a new mother, you would be very lucky indeed to see her at the store. Though every employee that I’ve met there is charming and beautiful too.
I wish there were half stars available to the Unilocal rating system, because I would give Milk & Honey 4 ½ stars.
