Exemplary service! Johnny On The Spot anytime we call to have something fixed. Really the best landlord I have had… anywhere.
Our air conditioning went out on Sunday. I called to let them know, 15 minutes later they called back and we had repair people there in less than 2 hours.
Such a relief after hearing friends horror stories of other landlords!

Best landlords I have ever had! Tombe realty is very prompt in taking care of things. Super nice to talk to on the phone and everyone on their staff is very nice.

I lived just down the road from their office and every month, my kid and I would stroll up Main St. to hand-​deliver the rent. The girls at the front desk are happy to help. Carl was good at fixin’ stuff (and showed me how to fix a few things or two). The few problems I had were taken care of in a snap. There was never a «I think my landlord is lying to me» feeling. Nor did I ever fell like they were trying to steal my security deposit. (I’m thinking those two bad reviews are probably the competition, tee-​hee :). The house we lived in was clean, spacious, and energy​-effi​cient​.My only bummer is that I didn’t live there for longer.

I have had a great experience so far with Chris, Heidi and with Tombe Realty. We moved into our duplex about 6 weeks ago, and so far the experience has been excellent. The property is extremely well-​maintained, and when we needed an appliance looked at, a repair person came out to look at it promptly. Chris was extremely friendly when we signed the lease, and has been flexible in our request to change some wallpaper (he easily could have said no). He also called to simply check in and see how things were at the property! We recently relocated to Santa Rosa from New York City, and I must say that the level of respect, courtesy and helpfulness that we’ve found at Tombe Realty is something we never found with property managers in New York. Maybe it’s a California thing, but we’re very pleased.

Unlike the only other reviewer to post here, I had an extremely GOOD experience dealing with Tombe Realty in Sebastopol. Like many of us these days, I found myself out of work and living on savings and my unemployment checks for a period of time in the past few years. Not only was Chris willing to show properties, he actually rented one to me on faith that the rent would be paid and all taken care of. When we had leaks or were in need of having something fixed, his handyman’s repairs were timely and more than adequate. They solved the problem AND they were cosmetically pleasing to the eye. And when it was necessary for me to vacate the property because of famiy needs, Chris was understanding and tried to make it as easy as possible on us. I not only found him to be a straight shooter, but a man with heart who tried very hard to work with us in a difficult economy.
I would and will always suggest Tombe Realty as a place to go to find rental properties as well as to find someone in Sebastopol who knows the town well and will not steer you wrong!
