Specialties
Sebastopol Gallery is owned and managed by 13 local artists. We offer high quality fine art and crafts by members and guest artists, including jewelry, paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, assemblage, linocuts, textiles, photography and glass. Besides providing a soul renewing space where art can be enjoyed and purchased, we also support many community groups, and host artist talks and other educational events. Our exhibits change every 6 to 8 weeks, celebrated with an artist’s reception.
History
Established in 2007.
After months of imagining a cooperative gallery in Sebastopol, a couple of local artists learned that a prime downtown location was coming up for rent. Countless phone calls and meetings later, 13 artists accepted the challenge of establishing a gallery on Main Street. After months of hard work, the space was renovated, the work displayed, and the doors opened for business. The artists of Sebastopol Gallery are grateful for the continued support of the community, both residents of Sonoma County and its many visitors.
