Sedona Crystal Vortex

My fiancé and I purchased a couples reading. We wanted to do it for fun since this is the type of thing Sedona is known for. The lady at the register kept raving about the psychic and we were excited to hear about our future. Our psychic was Janine. She asked us many questions that I felt were things would help her to make assumptions and predictions about us and where our relationship is headed. She connected to my fiancé because she had a boyfriend who was from the same area as him. She came up with all of these stereotypes about people from that area and none of them apply to my fiancé. She seemed to spend most of the reading on him. The only thing she «predicted» for me was that I’m going to get pregnant this year. Wow that is such an easy «prediction» to make when you see that I’m a 30 something yr old female and getting married.

My partner and I had a reading done here about a month ago during our road trip, we don’t remember who the lady was, however we call her Aunt May, she was amazing! Spot on.

Jonnas was great and helped us with our crystal needs. She even sent us to the vortex near the airport.

I loved this shop. The crystals all looked so happy and like they were clean and ready to go. It was a little expensive but considering the location, I was not surprised. I had a reading when I went there but can’t remember who the reader was. She was amazing though. Gave me details that turned out to be correct a full year and a half later. It’s a fun place to visit and you just feel good standing around in the shop. I called and did a phone reading today with Janine Miller and it was awesome. I had a list of questions I prepared to ask her but before I said a word she was bringing up the topics. She had very good insights and was a really accurate medium. I’ve already recommended her to my mother and sister.

Sedona Crystal Vortex located right in the heart of Uptown provided a very nice outdoor seating area in the shade with a water feature and perfect view to people watch and admire the red rock off in the distance. Once I caught my breathe I stepped into a neatly organized store packed with rows and rows of cool stuff. Every bowl filled with stones and crystals also had an explanation card which I appreciated. Lots of rock and crystals to choose from. You can get a reading here too. I got a good feel of what Sedona was about when I left and began my Sedona adventure. I agree with the sign saying Voted best Sedona gift shop. Lots of cool items here and most of all Thank You Sedona Crystal Vortex for my free gift.

This store had a great selection of crystals & stones at affordable prices. The woman who checked me out was very hospitable and informative. The only downside to one of my purchases — an Opalite cross — was that the hinge used to affix to a chain broke the first time I wore it. Being that I live 2,500 miles away, I couldn’t return it once it happened when I returned home. I had a medium reading performed while I was there as well, which unfortunately I was not as impressed with. Kamin, while very sweet and gentle, didn’t provide the experience I had hoped for. The information conveyed was very vague & I felt Iike she asked more questions of me, or had me perform more «self-​reflection» then share adequate information during our session. I had another psychic reading done at a different location in town and had a much more rewarding, helpful experience than the one with Kamin at Crystal Vortex.

I loved this place. Everything was so neatly organized and the jewelry was beautiful. I did purchase a beautiful necklace, but it did not come with a chain. Their silver chains were expensive and not my style so I’ll use one I already have or find a new one elsewhere. All the purchases come with cards that explain the benefits of the different crystals, and the salespeople were very friendly and knowledgable.

When coming to Sedona, I typically don’t go to places on the Main Street because they tend to be tourist traps and generic. However, this particular store is different. They by far have the best selection of crystals and stones I have seen in Sedona. The lady who helped me (I unfortunately can’t remember her name but she was petite with blonde hair in a low ponytail) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to new and full moon rituals. She provided me with insightful information that I previously hadn’t read or known about and was able to guide me towards what items to best work with. I also like that they provide you with a card for each crystal and stone that you purchase that has bulletpoints on the significance within it.

If you are in search of the great galactic crystal space cucumber rising from the cosmic stone, than this your shop.
If you think the above is a load of horse toss, than this might also be the shop for you.
I fall into the latter category and was buying some magical wizard stones as a joke for a friend. What I appreciated was that nobody shoved any interstellar vortex nonsense down my throat. They let me know they were there and available if I had any questions, but then they left me alone to look around.
And there really are some lovely stones and crystals in the shop, so independent of whether you fall into the «wealthy kept wives scratching for some small shred of meaning to justify their appalling lives of consumption by being exploited by new age snake oil sales people» category, or just buying a pretty rock for fun, you will probably find at least some of what you’re looking for here.

Ah yes, a tourist trap with all the trimmings. But I will say, it’s not the worst thing in the world. I got a few lovely stone rings for a pretty penny. I do love the way they put the cards up for each stone with the meaning and spiritualism of each. That’s definitely a nice touch! They have a great variety of stones but most everything is sterling silver — not so much gold here. And I prefer gold jewelry.
As for the psychic reading — I paid $ 40 for 20 minutes which is a definite splurge but when in Rome I guess… as they say this place is a spiritual vortex so I had to do it. Plus, I am kinda into all that new age stuff. It’s fun! My psychic used the tarot deck to read my current status and answered my specific question. She was very intuitive and I thought everything she said was right on the money. As for readings, they aren’t to tell you the future but to guide you in your journey. I would say a new age shrink of sorts. At the end of the experience it was well worth it. I would just say she must be making bank at $ 40 for 20 minutes… I may need to look into changing careers!

Suspend your disbelief and embrace the Vortex! A fun shop with a friendly staff. You don’t have to fully embrace everything Sedona to enjoy a visit here. Sometimes a necklace with a colorful stone is just a necklace with a colorful stone. Unless it’s something more! As one member of our party stated, «Yes, I believe. I believe in the placebo effect!!»
We enjoyed looking over the vast array of stones available for sale, complete with explanations of each stone’s significance. On this particular day, we took advantage of a small free gift offer from the Unilocal app, which the staff cheerily honored even before it was apparent that we were going to make a purchase or two as well. A variety of services, from massages to psychic readings, are available. We cannot speak to the quality of these services since we didn’t experience them, but the offerings seemed interesting and diverse. It is Sedona, so the pricing of some items is a bit aggressive, but nothing out of the ordinary for a high volume tourist area.

Loved all the crystals there was so many to choose from its almost hard to choose

Asked for a couples reading here as a walk in on a spur of the moment whim — we wanted to do something mystical and Sedona-​ish while we were here for the weekend. We were directed to Concetta, it was $ 70 for a 30 minute couples reading. I’ve had readings before but this was my fiancé’s first. Concetta was very in tune with us, she explained what our purpose was here on earth and even though my fiancé and I had very different «callings» they were definitely spot on. She also helped us each connect with a parent who crossed over and was able to read their personalities very accurately. I wish we had more money for a longer reading — we’re already hoping to return someday and have Concetta read for us some more. Definitely a fun and enlightening experience. I highly suggest people with open minds to give her a try!

Love this store. The location is perfect, very serene. Huge collection of stones, vortex and other crafts. Staff is very helpful and kind towards everyone. Why everything is so amazing about Sedona. I forgot to mention that I bought Two stones and 1 bracelet. There is no sales pressure. You can take your time, ask questions about the stones. My experience was really good. Will definitely visit this store again.

Amazing. Got some great stones for my dad — rock hound not for spiritual properties. Had my aura read and it was such a fantastic experience. Compared this reading to one earlier in the week, and it was 1000x more detailed and spot on. Loved it.

Nice and airy, with wide spaces to peruse through the store’s wares. I’ve been to this store before, but my group didn’t buy anything. This time, I was with my aunt, who is both a devout Catholic and a very spiritual soul (being one doesn’t necessarily mean you’re the other). She wanted to check out the singing bowls here when she spotted signs outside mentioning them. She has one back home and wanted to show me how to make them «sing.» I couldn’t get a hang of it here, since I hadn’t latched on to a most important tip of the process, and I was so frustrated. We did leave with some beautiful pieces of crystals. :)
We found another SCV location nearby (on a second level of the block), where I was able to make the bowls sing, now that I figured out what I was doing wrong at the first location. I bought a bowl here, but upon reflection wished I’d gone back to the first location (this review’s address) as it had newer and more beautiful bowls to choose from. Also, the cashier that had bagged my crystals at the second location chipped one of them, and I didn’t notice the damage until I’d returned home.
I wish Unilocal allowed me to check in to both places so that I could write reviews for both, instead of lumping them all here. All in all, I’m glad we visited SCV, as I now have a gorgeous-​sounding bowl to aid in my daily meditation!
