Windwater Day Spa

I am not sure how this place has such high ratings. I have been trying to contact this business now for a week. Every time I call the phone rings and rings and no one picks up. When you get to the mailbox it is full… definitely not a way to run a business. I even tried to book online but because I am booking for multiple people this was not an option. I guess I will book services for me and my 3 friends elsewhere.

This place is outstanding with the most welcoming staff. Maneesha gave me the best massage ever. I’ve had serious shoulder and back issues and she helped he tremendously not only with the great massage but with what to do when I leave. I only wish I lived in the area so I could come see her more often. My friends who had other therapist said their’s were good also. I’ll definitely come back. They also had a great restaurant suggestion.

Two friends and I booked last minute massages. The staff were highly accommodating, sweet, and nice. The deep tissue massage was fantabulous. Jen rocks! She is extremely skilled and checked in often during the massage. If you are looking for an absolutely fantastic therapeutic massage… This is the place to come to.

The staff were very accommodating. I called last minute with a time constraint but they were able to call 2 therapists in for a couples massage.
It was very relaxing and the therapists have nice suggestions to release toxins after.

I visited Windwater Spa recently, using a gift certificate given to me by a friend. I had my hair styled and highlights done by Jennifer, and she did a great job! Really one of the best haircuts I have ever had anywhere. The space is nice: calm and friendly. I definitely look forward to going back and trying some of their other treatments in the near future. For locals or for visitors, I highly recommend this beautiful day spa.

Love this place my boyfriend and I came in for a couples massage. Everyone was so nice and friendly. One of the only places in Sedona we found that took American Express too. Liz did a wonderful job on my message and I will come back every time I’m in Sedona which is monthly. I highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The minute I walked in I was greeted by both Andrea and puppy (Maddie as I called her). The massage was amazing and so was my facial. I will definitely be coming back on my next spa retreat vacation.

I just had a wonderful, last-​minute therapeutic massage with the owner of this spa. She has an intuitive touch and helped me release pressure in some built-​up knots. She also helped me with some energetic work and gave me great advice on my posture and stance to help with my chronic lower back pain.
The owner is new to this spa but not new to Sedona, and also offered me some great advice and potential services for my upcoming wedding. I also met one of the stylists from the hair salon who was very warm and friendly. This place has good energy! I’m looking forward to coming back here to get more bodywork!

Lisa Cook was wonderful! I hate getting my nails painted because one small imperfection is enormous in my eyes, but Lisa did a wonderful job on my hands and feet!!! I’ll be coming here every time I’m in town! Love this place!

The good —
Its really a lovely space. Their lobby, treatment rooms and backpack patio are spacious, well designed very conducive to relaxation.
Devan, who answers the phone, was a delight as I tried to schedule my treatments. As for the actual functionality of the scheduling, there were some glitches, but his manner and humor were awesome and put me in a good mood from the first contact.
Andrea, one of the owners, is clearly an excellent massage therapist who knows the body well. That said, I could’ve easily been talked into a 90 minute rather than a 60 minute massage and certainly would’ve preferred the 90 minute had I known about the scheduling issues that would crop up with my ensuing facial. The first part of my massage was awesome but the second half felt a bit rushed and I’m pretty sure that my left gluts were done but not my right. That said, if I had the chance to have another massage with her I absolutely would — she has that touch and awareness of the body that feels awesome. I would, however, book a 90 minute massage and be super clear about areas requiring attention.
I’d booked both a massage and a facial. This is where I’m anxious to see them grow into a five star place. I was made to fully redress post massage and then sat in a back waiting area for quite a while before I was offered refreshment.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Ideally, a client who has booked two or more treatments is offered a robe and shown refreshments upon arrival. If the treatment rooms have to change, hopefully the client doesn’t have to bother with redressing and assembling personal articles mid-​way through what is meant to be an extended spa experience. This was my first trip away nearly two years after having my first baby and I really wanted to be pampered by a spa day — that didn’t quite happen but I had fun and felt like I got a good value.
There were some scheduling problems which meant that I had to come back later for a facial with a relatively new aesthetician. This was obviously as stressful for the owners as it was for me but they worked very hard to accommodate me.
The facial that I did receive, a hydrofacial, was interesting. The aesthetician made a special effort to get me in that evening and was very sweet. She was also pretty forthcoming about her inexperience — not actually what I would advise, although kindly honest.
She also did not allow me to undress at all. Perhaps that is the custom in Arizona but I’ve had many a facial and in multiple countries and have always been in a robe or towel, at least from waste up. Why? Well, nothing drips down your collar for practicality’s sake. Also, spa facials I’ve received have almost invariably included a little bit of shoulder or neck work while a mask or treatment set — just even the slightest goes a long way. She did do a great head massage.
All in all, I would definitely try them again upon a return. They need to work out a few of the details and they’ll be an exceptional spa with exceptional value and range of services.

I have been so pleased with Darla at this this salon for my color, haircut and style. I had tried a few places for a cut & style but never found one that met up to my expectations as much as this terrific hair stylist. Darla listens to me and always does a great job. I highly recommend Darla and always go to her!

I don’t hand out 5 stars easily. Namaste Salon truly earned these.
I was hoping to find a Unilocal review regarding their waxing services but found nothing. Looking for a salon to get wax services in the area was scarce, not many places offer these services and even fewer have reviews online.
I made an appointment with the salon. Friendly customer service. Nice electronic appointment reminders.
I booked a leg and brazilian wax service. I have never had wax services outside of an eyebrow wax, so needless to type — I was quite nervous.
The salon has great style, very clean, colorful, and welcoming. I was greeted warmly and immediately felt like I’d been there before. There was no wait before my treatment began. Taking a few minutes to introduce myself, my needs, and my nerves to Kelsey, we began.
She was professional and her warm personality put me at ease immediately. Everything was perfect for my first waxing: clean area, clean tools, warm wax (not too hot), and comfortable movements. She minimized the pain and efficiently handled waxing my necessary areas. Casual conversation made the time pass easily and I felt little to no pain. Note: I’m a curvier girl and felt extremely comfortable with Kelsey.
The services were reasonably priced and I wasn’t pressured to purchase post-​care products.
I will definitely be returning and if ever asked, would absolutely recommend Namaste.

Lisa Cook has been a good friend of mine for years, I’ve never used her service until recently for my friend’s wedding as the MOH. I asked her if she can do my hair for the wedding and I have to say that the style she did on me came out so beautiful and it looked fabulous. I think I even had more compliments than the bride, I felt a little guilty. Lisa was quick with her work, but it looked like she spent hours on my hair. I am using her service again for my wedding which is coming up in 10 days. I love you Lisa. Thank you so much for everything and being so accommodating! If you’re a bride looking to get a hairdresser for your wedding day in Sedona or even just to do a fabulous updo, Lisa can do anything that you send her way and she will make you look like the Belle of the Ball! Trust me!

I have been going to Namaste Spa for the past year and Melissa has provided me with awesome service. She has created a spa that makes you feel good the minute you walk in the doors. You can tell that all of the people who work there are heartfelt and supportive of each other. I also was very lucky to find Lisa as well. She cut and highlighted my hair this past week and she did an incredible job. She is truly an artist. If you want an experience of women being supportive of your beauty and health, then definitely spend some time at the Namaste Spa. Sandra Vesterstein

I have just begun to go to Namaste spa for hydro facials, and I am very pleased with the treatments so far.
Namaste has a steady flow of locals, which says something with the many choices there are in Sedona.
Melissa is a very relaxing person to be around, and is constantly looking at new procedures that are entering the market place.

What a beautiful welcoming place. Its so warm and makes you feel comfortable the moment you enter. Everyone is so friendly and treat you like you have been their client forever. You can get so much done at this spa. I had an amazing massage from Dhanya.
