History

Established in 1995.

S-​Tek is a family owned and operated business built on the premise that top-​notch construction should be timely, affordable and produce satisfied clients. In 1995, after spending several years in the real estate business, owner/​operator Delano Smith decided to step into the world of new home construction and renovations. Motivated by his love for building, Delano’s goal was to create a business the community could trust. In 1999, S-​Tek Builders expanded their custom homes and remodeling services and became certified NatureScape sunroom dealers with PGT Industries forming Sunrooms by S-​Tek.

Known for their expertise in the sunroom business, S-​Tek became one of the first construction companies in the area to offer 4-​season insulated rooms as well as 3-​season, Eze-​Breeze 4-​track systems. In 2001, the window company PGT recognized S-​Tek as being the «Most Innovative Dealer For The Most Unique Marketing Strategy». «In 2003 they were a ‘Design Awards National Finalist’.
