Excel Constructors, Inc., was established as a corporation in 1991 and operates from an Overland Park location serving the Midwest region of the United States. Our principal business activities are traditional General Contracting, Design/​Build and Construction Management. We provide master plans, schematic and pre-​construction estimating, and scheduling services. Our projects include public, commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, religious /​cultural, and retail buildings ranging in size from 1 to 30 million dollars.

Business Owner

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1986. Mike has been President of Excel since 1993 and he has consistently been an active participant in all phases of project procurement and management. Mike personally handles several of Excel’s active projects. As Project Manager, he earned several awards for ‘Excellence in Construction’ from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Heart of America Chapter.
