This store location has very poor customer service. I came here returning a dress I originally bought from the Glendale Galleria location; this Arden B is closer to where I live. When I came in, I was quickly helped by a very kind salesgirl. When I told her I wanted to make a return, she turned to(who I assume is the manager) an African American lady who looked like she just rolled out of bed, to help her with the transaction. The African American lady looked very intently at the dress to make sure it wasn’t worn and the tag was still on. I mean, she really inspected the dress and glared at me a few times asking the salesgirl why I said I was returning the dress. She looked at my receipt and wouldn’t stop inspecting the dress even more. She noticed I bought the dress from the Glendale location and asked me if the store told me to come to their location to return it. At that point, I felt like I was being harassed over a return. I have never been treated so rudely about a refund. I followed the company policy, I don’t see why I can’t be treated fairly. I will NEVER buy anything from this store location. The Glendale Galleria staff are far better with their customer service over this store anyday.

My aunt and I spent about $ 160 at this store yesterday, both buying the same exact lovely dress. This morning I took mine back. I explained to the assistant manager, Tiffany, my personal reasons for needing to return the dress. She was very sweet and listened intently. I told her that I knew that the store policy only allowed exchanges; however, as a human being, and not just a customer, I would be very grateful if she could make an exception and allow me to return the dress. She said that would not be a problem and because I had paid with a debit card, she would give me cash back. However, it was early in the business day, and there was not enough cash in the register. So Tiffany asked me to return before closing. I did, driving back to Sherman Oaks from Valencia. Only to be told by another assistant manager, Dana, that I could not get a refund because she could not make an exception. She subsequently called her supervisor, Adrina, who also declined my request for a refund… despite the fact that one of their employees, an assistant manager had told me earlier today, that she could make an exception, just for one time only and issue a refund. This is not poor customer service. Its PATHETIC. The only good thing about that store, which I will NEVER set foot in again, is Tiffany… the morning assistant manager who was trying to provide good service and make a small difference in someone’s life.
