This apartment is nice and quiet with good facilities in a pleasant area.
Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to renew your lease, as the process is much more complicated than it needs to be, especially when it comes to renters insurance, and instead of a separate renewal form, they make you fill out a new application. Also, don’t get the insurance they recommend/​have a relationship with.
When did that when we moved in, but now when it comes to renewal time we are having an issue where the address the Management company uses has changed, they won’t accept proof of insurance until it is updated. The property manage says she cannot update it because Fulton Garden Associates is no longer working with the insurance company, and the insurance company say they can’t change it because has a registered client or something, only a representative from Fulton Gardens can update the address, not the person whole took out the rental policy.
We now have to cancel our policy with the old «preferred» insurance company as it is no longer «preferred» by Fulton Gardens. I’m going with Third Party insurance so I don’t get stuck in this situation again.
I haven;t had any issue apart from trying to renew the lease and get a hold of the property manager in a timely fashion, but those issues are irritating me so much right now, I can;t give it more than three starts.
Don’t go with their preferred insurance company!
