This place is the best in customer service. The older lady that works in the post office is really nice to people and very helpful. Tells you which way worls best to send your package and helps out to customers at one time. She even made my daughter have a good day by giving her a sticker !

Great pharmacy, helpful staff and pharmacists. They filled my rx that Walgreen’s wouldn’t (WG tried to have me wait 2 days until exactly 30 days after my last fill… who wants to cut it that close??) All in all great place. Good prices too.

Not sure if I just got bad luck, but I encountered terrible attitude and customer service at this pharmacy. And by one person in particular on the phone.
The post office people and others in the pharmacy are nice– especially the post office people. But I got a rotten person at the pharmacy when I called in and that totally ruined my opinion of them since it’s the first time I’m using their pharmacy services.
Needless to say, I’m not going back and risk encountering that rude man ever again!

I was looking for a new pharmacy and called. Because of the pill that answered the phone I wont be going here. When I asked her to clarify somehing, she did the, «Yeah like I just told you blah blah «So passive aggressive employee, no thanks! Look customers needing their meds, etc Im sure can be nightmares, but be a better actress when you’re on the phone.

Maxsons pharmacy is by far the best private pharmacy around! Always helpful, prompt with prescriptions and some of the best old timer remedies over the counter that you can’t get anywhere else!

What a depressing place. I’m happy they had the meds I wanted, but the two girls at the front were insanely rude. Somebody needs to teach them about customer service, especially in a place where you’re giving care to sick or hurt people. I’ll probably never go back. They need a major face lift.

I left my ID 3 days prior when using the Post Office; and over the course of the three days Natalia went through the effort to locate my phone number call me and make arrangements to resecure my ID so that I could make the trip back to pick it up everyone in the store knew what to help me as she communicated thoroughly, and I was able to easily find where she had secured my ID! this level of customer service doesn’t happen very often and I’m so proud to have this moment to take time to acknowledge her efforts!!!

I am so glad I found this pharmacy after years of the nightmare known as CVS. No long lines. No long waits. You call them. They get it done. You show up an pick it up. Staff are great. Couldn’t be happier.

I really love this place. Spatially the woman who is working in the post office section. She always help me so much her name is NATALIA. She is very fast and most helpful women I’ve seen in my life. I can’t enough good things about her the incredibly convenient post office she runs.

I love Maxson’s. Always nice, always fast, lots of cool stuff to look at while you wait the short time for your prescription. But, truly the best thing is the full US post office that they have inside. It is run by one of the nicest, smartest, most helpful women I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I have been coming to her to do almost all of my mailing needs for the last 14 years and it is always such a pleasure. I can’t say enough good things about her and the incredibly convenient post office she runs. A true gem.

I love coming here. So conveniently located. Always has parking in the back and the post office attendants are always so helpful and knowledgeable. The line goes by fast usually and the have a wide selection of cards. Also very interesting gifts and gadgets.

When no other pharmacy in the Valley had my medication, this place did. Very courteous and quick. Rose was very helpful.

For the health of my family, I am transferring all our prescriptions to another pharmacy. I really wanted to like Maxson’s. They are very nice, generally, and I like to support mom and pop establishments. But several times I have asked for a child-​proof cap, and I have received one never. That’s right, never. If I don’t check the bag before I leave, I get home to no child-​proof cap. Even though I request it every time. Today I had to make a special trip back in to request the child-​proof cap I should have gotten in the first place. The woman basically shrugged and said it prints out too small on their labels, so they don’t see it. So I need to check the bag every time. I’m sorry, but it is not acceptable to tell your customers that they need to double check your work because you can’t be counted on to do it properly, or even obey the law. This is not okay. Also, in the past they gave me the wrong insulin. Yep, the absolute wrong drug. They basically shrugged that off too. These are life and death issues here. They need to get out of the pharmacy business, in my opinion.

This is our go to place for prescriptions & also cards for birthdays & holidays since they are unique & the area is never overcrowded. 99% of the people who work there are fantastic. There is one male pharmacist who we’ve had 2 encounters with. He called my dentist all suspicious about an rX he wrote & was unfriendly to him and the last time we were there he griped about me using a discount pharmacy card. Believe me I’d love to have insurance, but this is where I am at this point in my life.
Other than him I love this place! I can drop off packages to be mailed, buy lotto tix, there’s always a short wait for the prescriptions, plus there are interesting items for sale all throughout the store that help pass the wait time.
We never have to wait in a long line & the customer service is great. I’ve had some bad experiences at other local pharmacies & even if I can get an rX cheaper elsewhere I still come here because it’s an easy, no hassle experience every time. They remember us & my boyfriend can drop off & pick up my rX’s without me because of that which is Sooooo helpful.

I love going in here all the time whether its to mail something or to buy lottery tickets or birthday cards. its perfect!!!

Best. Pharmacy. Ever. They are insanely fast, super friendly, and don’t mind taking a prescription to fill when they close in 15 minutes. They’re also better than most pharmacies in the area about patient confidentiality — not screaming over the counter «are you still taking that anti-​fungal medication?» Gross. Thanks Maxsoms!

I have been a customer for at least 15 years. Maxsons is a great little neighborhood pharmacy. The staff is so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help with what ever you might need. They have everything you might need to find in a drug store and if not, they will order it for you.
A few years ago they lost their contract with my insurance company due to a monopoly with CVS trying to take over the small mom and pop stores. How dare CVS due that with their awful customer service. Try to find someone at a CVS who might speak, let alone understand English. With Maxsons, you are always in good hands. Fortunately my husband’s insurance is accepted and I was lucky enough to come back to Maxsons for my scripts.
What was I going to do, not go to CVS, Rite Aid or even Ralphs that is for darn sure. I work in Beverly Hills and although not always convenient had to use a small pharmacy located across the street from my office which was fine.
The post office is also a nice convenience. I see other reviewers complaining that the woman who runs it was and is rude. Come on she has to keep up the attitude of a government worker or it would not be a real post office. She really is a very nice woman.
Maxsons is a gem. Shhhhhsh, let’s keep it that way.

I was so upset by this experience that this is the first Unilocal review i have ever written. a friend of mine brought me here to fill a prescription after my minor surgery. when i went to pay it was a little more then i thought and i asked the girl if i could take one and come back in a few days for the other. The pharmacist leaned over the counter and very rudely yelled in front of everyone that this happens all the time and he is not going to fill one and not the other. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TALKED TO SO RUDE IN PUBLIC FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON. I was so uncomfortable and taken aback. Even the girls working the counter looked uncomfortable. Also. i don’t need the whole store knowing my personal business. I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!

So I love local mom and pop places over chains and this drug store is a winner! It’s such a throwback to the good olé days where the drug store was a great social place in communities. Super friendly staff.
The post office is the best part! The two ladies who work the post office are super outgoing and seem to genuinely enjoy being there. Great place to buy greeting cards as well!
