Merritt Bookkeeping Services, Inc. was founded in February 2010 based on a need for affordable and professional small-​business bookkeeping.

Each month we organize and account for your finances, tracking all money in and out. We then provide you with a Profit & Loss report that shows you how much your company is making, as well as a Balance Sheet that shows you what its financial position is. At the end of the year, your books will already be reconciled, allowing you to promptly file your taxes.

Merritt Bookkeeping Services was formed when Jordan Merritt began helping his mom with her bookkeeping outside of the hours he was working as a staff accountant. He realized then that small business owners really need help when it comes to keeping their books. So he formed a company and now aims to help as many small business owners as he can.

Jordan Merritt is a magna cum laude graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, with a degree in Finance. He’s acquired several years of experience with bookkeeping, account management, financial reporting, and individual and corporate tax preparation at several Los Angeles-​based business management firms. He is also a Quickbooks Pro Advisor.

He founded Merritt Bookkeeping Services, Inc. in February 2010 based on a demand he recognized for affordable and professional bookkeeping services for small businesses. He greatly enjoys working with and helping other business owners manage their finances.
