Se’ La Vi Sweets

I am very picky about my cupcakes. They need to be moist and have just the right amount of sweetness. I can’t believe how many dry cupcakes are out there!
Vi’s cupcakes rocked and her cake was outstanding! Vi did a custom 10″ red velvet cake and 2 dozen cupcakes (lemon, Oreo, Chai and Vanilla w/​chocolate frosting) for my Husband’s birthday. Her baked goods were at hit!
Vi is very talented and really nice. I can’t wait to collaborate with her on my next celebration!

I had Vi make some custom cookies for my bridal shower. Not only were they delicious, but she came up with three unique cookies to fit my theme and budget with glitter and printed images! They were gorgeous and absolutely one of my favorite parts of the party! If that wasn’t enough, Vi delivered them on time at my venue and even set them up for me on each place setting! She is just as sweet as her wonderful desserts and I hope to do business again with her soon!

Had them once at a friends birthday and could not stop thinking about the lemon raspberry cupcakes. Thank you fellow Unilocaler Sasha Y.
A few months later the wait was over and I got a chance to ordered them for my girls birthday. They offer 2 sizes of cupcakes and can split dozens into 2 different flavors. I got 6 each of the following:
— regular size red velvet
— regula size lemon raspberry
— baby cupcakes coconut
— baby cupcakes nutella
All 4 were delicious but my favorite is still lemon raspberry. All of the guests were also very happy with the sweets.
Vi (who I worked with) was very easy to work with over e-​mail and delivered the goodies as ordered and on time at the birthday venue. They payment was seamless via PayPal.
Side Note: someone on Unilocal gave Se’ La Vi Sweets a 1 star because no one answered the phone at the business and they don’t have a store-​front. The person who posted this review is a moron and should not be allowed to Unilocal ever again. How do you give someone a review based on this criteria?

I wanted to do somethin super special for my hubby and found se la vi sweets! I did call but lead me to voicemail so I figure i email instead. Got a respond from Vi within 5 mins and was able to deliver the following day!
Excellent communication/​customer service, amazing and beautiful cupcakes and most of all, my husband was super surprised!!!
3 flavors I ordered:
blue velvet, coconut, and vanilla.
He loved it since it was perfect size and super moist!

I found Se’ La Vi Sweets through Unilocal and was not disappointed. I ordered a bunch of cupcakes for wifey’s birthday and they were a huge hit.
When I buy baked goods for office parties, birthdays, Bar Mitzvahs, and the SoCal Jugalloo events, I usually prefer to take credit for the sweets. It gets me a pat on the back, an extra latke, and a tall boy Bud Light. But in this case, I cannot take credit for Vi’s amazing work.
I ordered the following cupcakes:
6 — Lemon Raspberry
6 — Mint Chocolate Chip
6 — Red Velvet
6 — Coconut
Every single one of them was delicious and flavorful. Even though Vi doesn’t have a storefront just yet, her cupcakes have outdone any other cupcakes I’ve ever tried. Plus, who needs a storefront when your cupcakes are this good. No one, that’s who.

I used Se La Vi, for my daughters first birthday this past weekend. Vi herself was amazing with the design of the cupcake and the packaging. She delivered all of them to my home the night before the party. They were a big hit and very yummy. She went far and beyond what our expectations were. Thank you again for making my daughters bday such a success.

Ordered cupcakes from Vi for a baby shower and the cupcakes were a huge hit. The chocolate flavor was delish as expected but people raved about the cookies n’ cream (with real Oreo’s baked right in — yum!). Best of all, the cupcakes were delivered to my door so it cut out the hassle of having to pick up from a store location. I would most certainly order baked goods from Se’ La Vi again.

I decided to purchase cupcakes today to bring to a client meeting this afternoon. I called Se’ La Vi and all I get is a voice message. They don’t even answer the phone or have an address on their website. What kind of business practice is that? I’ll take my business elsewhere. Epic Fail.

I have used Se’ La Vi Sweets twice now for office parties. I contacted to Vi ahead of time with a request for a set of PUPPY DOG and UNICORN themed cupcakes. She was so creative in designing them. My staff got such a thrill out of the cupcake art! And they tasted delicious, too. Thanks Vi for bringing many smiles to my office!
Note: These cupcakes are on the smaller side but very sweet! You really only need one. (Or two ;)).

Don’t just take my word for it, TRY IT! A couple of years ago I went on a quest to find the best cupcakes in LA. After driving all over town we {2 other friends} all agreed that Se’ La Vi Sweets has the best cupcakes BY FAR! Especially the Red Velvet and the Cookies and Cream cupcakes are a piece of heaven on earth.
I was a little worried that the fact that she doesn’t have a storefront would make things more complicated. However, the opposite turned out to be the case. When I contacted Vi she made it super easy to pick up the cupcakes and she even gave us some complimentary ones to try. In addition, whenever we have an event she delivers the goodies for a small fee… FABULOUS since I normally am pretty busy those days.
Vi’s cupcakes and cheese bites are so delicious that she is now our «house baker». Whenever we have an event we call on her! Cupcakes, birthday cakes, cheese bites, you name it!

I don’t generally like cupcakes — but I absolutely love these cupcakes! Vi is very nice as well. Definitely order from here if you’re looking for a fancy treat for your party :)

okay so this is my second cupcake review today. sue me. i love ‘em.
i ordered cupcakes from vi on monday with a pick up on wednesday for my co-worker’s birthday. she was nothing but responsive and accommodating. i didn’t realize until later that she didn’t have a storefront and did mainly special orders, so i ordered 2 of each of the following flavors: peanut butter & jelly, strawberry cheesecake, blue velvet, rainbow dot, coconut, and strawberry. i really hope she didn’t have to make whole batches just to get me two of each! she threw in a couple extras too, which was really nice of her.
ok on to how they tasted… HEAVENLY. i had the peanut butter & jelly and absolutely loved the taste and novelty of it. the blue velvet was also fabulous. the birthday girl loved the strawberry, which had big chunks of strawberry in the cake. the cupcakes went so fast, i had to turn people away because i didn’t buy enough. their bad for not showing up quickly enough.

Been trying for ages now to find a good cupcake place that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I ordered from Se’ La Vi for my work’s «June Birthdays» party. I ordered 2 dozen assorted. They were DELICIOUS! AND they threw in some mini red velvet cupcakes for free! It even started an epic debate in the office of which is better Se’ La Vi or Sprinkles. If you ask me… Se’ La Vi wins. Can’t beat the price AND delivery!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found this place.

I love these bite size treats! When my company request treats I always send Vi a quick email. She is very professional and she has never let our company down. I love the cheesecake bites, but the cupcakes are just as good. Everyone raves about the taste. It you want a really fun treat please give Vi a chance she will not disappoint you.

Oh my! These ARE the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. Sprinkles doesn’t even compare. Se La Vi’s cake is always moist and fluffy and the frosting is some cream cheese mix that’s so light.
My favorite flavors thus far:
Red Velvet, Chocolate Chip, Banana Caramel, Lemon, Strawberry, Pumpkin
I wasn’t a fan of the keylime cheesecake everyone’s talking about… but holy crap… the banana caramel and white russian cheesecake bites were aMAzing.
I’ve never been the type of girl to fantasize about what I want for a wedding, but I know I’ll be having these cupcakes there.
I can’t wait to try more!

She makes the most amazing key lime cheesecake bites that I have ever had in my life!

If you could only come to OC! Your cupcakes were fluffy, tasty, and just right! Sweet, but no over powering! I loved them! Ok, I ate like 3. I know, I know. I was greedy, but really. they were calling me! How could I resist Se’ La Vi!!! I would say take home the velvet, pumpkin, oreo! All of them really, why not? Have a party! Let it be known that you blow the sprinkles off the competition. ;)

Had the privilege of meeting the two amazing people behind this operation at the Akbar party in LA. I want to thank them both personally for giving me a cupcake after they were «officially» out! The thing that won me over the most was the key lime cheesecake bite. Sorry honey, but I found a new love! don’t be hatin! Seriously, you don’t know what your missing people!

Repeat after me: Key Lime Cheesecake bite… so great! I lived in Miami for 2 years so I know Key lime. Tried their goods while at a Unilocal event, also had the Oreo Cupcake, yum! I’m actually plotting a party so I can get a cupcake tier, always wanted to get one of those. Met both of the owners, such great people. All I can say is, beware Sprinkles, you have a rising star coming up on you. Truthfully I don’t even like Sprinkles. Only issue is I have to drive from Newport to Sherman Oaks, oh well I’ll travel as far as needed for a Key Lime Cheesecake Bite
