Thank you so much!!! I got my DREAM dress within my budget! She made it exactly as I wanted it and custom fitted it to me no charge! And on the day when I went to pick it up a small part of it was a little loose (I didn’t notice) and they fixed it up right away for free! It fits me PERFECTLY and I’m SO happy with my beautiful wedding dress! Thank you for your amazing work!

Carmela is the best dress maker. Custom make, just how I want it! I couldn’t be happier. She had a lot of patience for the changes I decided to make later on and my dress came out beautiful! She also gave me 2^nd dress for a better price! I was the happiest bride every!

No words to describe how professional this woman is. She is amazing!!!
I would first say I visited so many stores before I met her. I never got a felling of security like I felt with Carmela. She is nice, pleasant, kind, she really cared for me like as I was her daughter.
I purchased 2 dresses one for the ceremony and one for after, and both she did from scratch.
After one week only, she called me to try on the dresses and boom. Sooooo beautiful! It was 90% finished (only needed to shortened here and there), but overall it was perfect!

Carmela is truly a fairy godmother! I am so ecstatic, beyond words happy with my beautiful wedding gown. I gave Carmela the ultimate project of fixing my wedding gown, which needed a ton of work! The original designer would not sell us any lace and Carmela matched the lace of my dress perfectly to build me a beautiful tulle skirt and built my strapless gown into a more modest three quarter sleeves dress. She has a great eye for seeing the difference between off white, ivory and white. My dress is now a perfect dream and I highly recommend that anyone who is looking for their dream wedding gown to run to Unique Bridal! Her prices are fair, she has amazing taste and she ask did my friend’s gown too, which was also the bride’s dream gown. I can’t thank her enough and had to write a review! Carmela made my dress from scratch after I explained what I wanted and it came out like my dream!!! was instantly INLOVE! Incredible pricing and she has always told me if anytime before my wedding I need alterations I can bring it back anytime! thank you so much I can’t wait to wear my amazing gown for my bid day in 14 days!!! Carmela is excellent at what she does. I’m one happy bride! She not only catered to my needs during the stressors of planning my beautiful day but she has become a great friend. The bridal shop is ran by her & her husband and at first it is scary to go with an independent business instead of a corporate business however, I wouldn’t change it for the world. She not only gave me a reasonable price for my beautiful dress but it was ordered in a timely manner, the details on my dress were perfected, my measurements/​fittings were done correctly, and I came by often to see my dress … and it was perfect! She was also so informative when it came to accessorizing my look — from earrings, the veil, and the crystallized tiara. Before choosing a gown, I was so indecisive about ordering a dress or having her make my gown so she went as far as joining me to downtown LA to help me choose the style and beading I was going for. We decided to order through one of her approved vendors– Mori Lee designer style #1256. Carmela has been an exceptional piece in my fairytale wedding. I Love Carmela and Unique Bridal Boutique.

If I can leave one hundred stars for this store, I would. Wedding planning was quite stressful, but having the dress ready turned out to be the easiest and best part of the planning. Carmella was SO amazing during the entire process. I went in there with so little time left until the wedding, and other places said it was either impossible to have any dresses ready, or there was some ridiculously insane fee for delivery, rush delivery to have it made, to have it made to fit you… etc. Crazy. Not only did Carmella assure me that it would be ready on time, she ended up making BOTH dresses on time and with plenty of time for alterations (and that was because I kept changing my mind about certain things I wanted). She never gave me attitude about it, always made me feel comfortable to ask for more changes, and I always left the store happy. The prices there are unbeatable — I tried many stores before finding this one, and you get a great price for amazing dresses. After trying on some dresses, I was so stuck between 2 that I found to be beautiful (thanks to their great prices and fast service I was lucky enough to get both). If you don’t see what you want there, all you have to do is be clear about what it is that you want, and she and her team are so talented that they make it just the way you want it. I appreciated them so much that I ended up inviting them to the wedding :) Thank you for everything Carmella! I recommend you to all my friends!

Almost ruined my wedding!!! I got my dress from another store, thank god, but I ordered my brides maids dresses through unique bridal. First off they charged my girls different amounts, which is very sketchy, And when one girl picked up the dresses for the rest they charged her even more money after the dresses had already been paid in full. They called one of my bridesmaids FAT to her face!!! What the hell!!! And lastly even though they had the date of my wedding the dresses came in at the last second and we had to rush to get them altered. The dress for my «fat» bridesmaid wasn’t even the right size and barely fit her but we had no time to fix it. The sales people were nasty and rude, everything was over priced, and the dresses came in super late. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy.

I got married two years ago and I should have written a review a lot sooner. I absolutely, 100% loved, loved, loved my dress. It was the color I wanted, the design, customized just for me! I actually went in looking for other types of dresses because I had something else in mind, and Carmel suggested I tried other dresses. I wasn’t too eager, but I did and the first one I tried on that she suggested was the one I fell in love with. I cried, my mom cried and that was it. She tailored my dress gave me a GREAT price compared to David’s Bridal, Alfred Angelo and other boutiques. People thought I spent $$$$ and I didn’t. As other people have said, the language barrier may be difficult for some, but if you have patience and love for others, you’ll be fine. Also, it isn’t your let’s drink champagne and look at the beautiful room kind of place. It really is look at the beautiful gowns this lady has created. I also bought all of my 4 bridesmaids dresses here and they all loved them and she fitted them well. The only reason why I gave them a 4 and not a 5 is because I do feel they can hire someone with customer service and sale skills that would improve their business. Carmel is really good at what she does with her dresses, but they need someone who can handle the clientele. Hope this helps!

ZERO STARS!!! Unless you’re planning to buy a dress from this store, DON’T BOTHER!
At first the lady was very helpful and eager to have my friend (the bride) try on dresses. After 4 – 5 dresses, the pressure to purchase started. When the bride firmly said she will not make a decision today, the sales lady walked away and started talking in her language to another person in a room and we could hear her complain, picked out words in English about brides trying on dresses and not buying. Such a professional!
ISN’T THAT HOW THE PROCESS GOES? WHY WORK FOR A BRIDAL SHOP AND NOT DO YOUR FREAKIN JOB LADY?! FIND ANOTHER CAREER THEN!

This place does not look fancy, its not going to be the champagne and girlfriends trying on dresses type of place. However this place saved my life. I went in the Monday before my wedding. My wedding was that Saturday. I had a dress that I had bought at Alfred Angelo, and deep inside I hated it. So that Monday I was determined to grab a dress off a rack. By the way, I am a super A-​Type, picky person. I have never written a review about anything. I love excellent customer service. I am a business owner, basically a no-​nonsense type of person. At the same time I am a woman who loves to look fabulous and work with people that are going to be honest with me. So when I walked into Unique Bridal I almost walked out, but I am so glad I stayed. I tried on several dresses. I found a beautiful dress that did not fit, by the way at the time I was a size 14 (Today I’m a size 8 yay!) Anyhow, when they saw the dress didn’t fit they immediately offered to make it. And I said no I’m sorry you must have misunderstood I’m getting married this Saturday and she said «yes yes I make for you». I kid you not the dress was made and ready on Wednesday and it was perfect and beautiful. The price was super less than what I ever expected to pay and less than the ugly dress I had originally bought. I got so many compliments and most importantly on the day of my wedding I felt beautiful and confident.

OMGGG if you’re looking for a bridal dress this is the store to go to! I was in loveeee with my wedding dress! Carmela was sooo helpful during the whole process. She custom made my dress and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. I’m sooo picky and she had so much patience and was so sweet and caring and wanted it to be as perfect as possible! I would definitely recommend this place!

Not a dressmaker but an artist, who has excellent people skills and great work ethic. My mom and I got our dresses for my wedding here and we almost never went to this place. The day we went gown shipping we went to all the usual places and were so disappointed by the lack of customer service and personal attention, not to mention selection. Carmela and her husband at unique truly made my dress experience a unique and memorable one.

I had a great experience at Unique Bridal!!! I got my dress made to my liking. Carmel worked with me and made sure every single detail on my dress was to my liking!!! She included my veil and alterations with the price of the dress! Carmel works with your budget and makes custom dresses!!! She is quick and cost friendly!!! You definitely will not find another place that does custom dresses for such a great deal!!!

I had my wedding dress custom made here and they did such a fabulous job! I couldn’t be more happy with their service. I showed them photos of styles that I liked and I had a vision that they helped bring to life! Carmela had me chose which fabric I liked and what fit I wanted. I had my wedding in New Orleans and while walking through the streets, I got stopped by many people commenting on my dress. Some even asked if it was a real wedding or if it was for a magazine shoot! I really couldn’t believe it. Many stopped me to take a photo of the dress to show their friends! I highly recommend Unique Bridal. They made my dream look come true and I couldn’t be happier :)

Unique Bridal is amazing! I got my dress custom made from scratch and it came out perfectly. I went to every single bridal store in LA and no one had what I wanted. Carmella made my dress faster than anyone else and for HALF THE PRICE! She also does all the alterations and has veils, accessories, etc. I ended up getting everything from here my bridesmaid dresses, my accessories, everything. Even my mother n law got her dress here. I’ve referred quite a bit of people here and so far everyone has been happy! You won’t find custom dresses and great customer service for this price anywhere.

Was not impressed with this place. Went here to look at the Maggie Sottero dresses as per the website they are a certified retailer. I had a very difficult time finding even 1 Maggie dress here. They create customized knockoffs of designer dresses (at basically the same price as the designer dress) and will design anything you want. I wasn’t very impressed with their designs. Wasn’t what I expected going in and was put off by them telling me what I should do.

STAY away from this place. I seriously hope that no one gets as unlucky as i did by deciding to get their dress altered there. I baught a beautiful pronovias dress for 1500 $ in a sample sale store, and needed to get it altered. I called a few places but many couldnt do it as it was only a month before my wedding date. I finally found this place online, and by great pleasure was told by the woman to come in and that they could do it without problem.
As i showed her what i wanted done, she made me feel very safe and comfortable as she acted like she understood exactly what i wanted. 2 weeks later, i went to pick up my «supposed» ready dress and the nightmare began. Not only did she do a horrible job, she damaged my dress so much that i had to buy a whole new dress the week before my wedding. To make things worse, when i got mad at her and told her it was completely ridiculous, she kept repeating that she didnt «touch my dress» and only made it tighter. (Last time i checked to make a dress tigthter u need to touch the dress). Anyways, she refused to give me my money back (700 $) and i seriously considered suing. I decided she wasnt worth my time and money. Lesson of the story: david’s bridal saved my life a week before my wedding.
