Aurora Rents

Always helpful, fairly priced and the staff is great. Seahawks memorabilia on display! I’ve rented simple things like a lawnmower all the way up to a truck full of equipment for a large event. This is my go to place. Odd building design (no front door on Aurora?) and the parking lot access is restrictive and interesting. Best accessed from N 99 before 175^th. Then you can go right on 175^th and hang a quick right in.

Had them out a total of three times, 1 excavator, 2 bobcats… Everytime I called they were quick to answer and give me a recommendation for what equipment I needed. They had the machines to my house quick, Shoreline to Bothell…
The pricing was very competitive and was actually lower (including delivery) than the «Solar» Belt rentals. Very nice to deal with, did not nickel and dime for every little thing.
Support a local business and use these guys, very professional!!!

I’m a landscape contractor and these guys are the best. After trying out various rental places, Aurora Rents stands out as higher-​than-​average for equipment condition and customer service. All locations are equally awesome. In the rare case that we’ve had problems with the equipment, most of the times they’re able to help me troubleshoot over the phone & if the equipment is really problematic (which is rare), they’ll send a truck out with a replacement machine at no extra charge.
We rent from them dozens of times a year, and feel well taken care of every time.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but these guys are way different from the people at their Greenlake location. I will never go there again unless I absolutely have to.
Coupla things:
When I asked if I could return the tool at the Greenlake store, the clerk responded «I guess, if you want to be one of those kind of customers».
I had to ask the guy who was hooking up my trailer lights to please go get the testing kit they have so we could eliminate their trailer lights as the problem (my lighting connection is quirky, when at the Greenlake store the first thing they did was bring out this kit). His gruff and reluctant response was less than friendly.
When I returned the tool that same unfriendly guy commented in a very nasty tone «you’re lucky this thing didn’t fall off» (in reference to the tool I had chained to their trailer).
I should add, they did give me a break on rental fees for a tool I ended up not using. So not all bad, just old school gruff that I prefer not to deal with.

They rent everything. I really like their new location in Shoreline, the place is really nice and clean and all of the equipment is displayed well.
We were having a party and with a keg and an ice luge already we felt we needed one more option to complete the booze trifecta… a slurpee machine. If you didn’t have a good time at this party you were doing something wrong.
The machine we rented was a two flavor system so we could have margaritas going on one side and daiquiris on the other… I haven’t seen alcohol disappear quicker. Although it’s important to note that you can’t mix in the booze until after the machine has turned the mixers into slushies. If you put it in from the beginning it won’t ever freeze on account of the liquor.
The guys at aurora rents helped me get the machine into my car and told me how to use the thing. Returning it the next day with a massive hangover wasn’t much fun but what are you gonna do. They take care of all the cleaning so you don’t have to worry about it. Good thing too since I don’t know the first thing about slurpee machine maintenance.
Conclusion: machine was clean and well maintained, worked perfectly, fair price, friendly and helpful employees.
