Sears Driving School

Thank glob for putting Jimmy Green on this earth. This angel lead me through my driving test with a certain air about him only to be described as… dedication. He’s been teaching since 1997 and the world is better off because of it. Ordinarily, one might imagine a driving test as mundane, or even a hassle. Jimmy’s test, however, was anything but. The minutes flew by, and soon I was walking out a certified driver, all thanks to Jimmy.
No words can express my gratitude. Thanks big prophet Jim.

I took my driver lesson with Jimmy at their Shoreline location. He is a great teacher. Don’t afraid to ask him anything, as he will explain it to you thoroughly. I was able to pass my road test after just 6 lesson with him, despite having zero driving experience before. Really recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with the Sears driver’s ed program, and highly recommend it to everyone. Jimmy is a fabulous, entertaining, patient instructor that our daughter absolutely loved. She was actually sad when the class was over. Getting the driving lessons scheduled was a breeze compared to friends who went to other driving schools. Anytime we had a question or needed to reschedule a lesson we heard back via email within 30 minutes. Great experience!

Great driving school in which I learned how to drive in. Today was my last class here. The teacher, Mr. Green, was a great one with exceptional knowledge in defensive driving.

I highly recommend Sears Driving School especially my Driving Instructor Jimmy Green. About me, I’m 55yrs old and I stopped driving 20 years ago. I wanted to start driving again but was a little nervous. Now I am taking driving classes with Jimmy and it is a great experience and pleasure. He’s very professional and informative, Jimmy is always helpful and very clear. He has a unique way to teach and understand the rules of the road. He gives me smart safe driving tips and advise on possible emergency situations. He has given driving lessons to hundreds of others and knows how to be a patient and good teacher. He made me feel confident again. Anybody who’s thinking of taking driving lessons should consider asking for Jimmy at Sears Driving School.

I love my driving instructions here. not only because their teaching methods are update but also because my instructor is Jimmy Green… Sears is very professional and cooperative. in one of my lessons I was 15 mins late. Jimmy green was considerate enough to teach me for an extra 30mins! on my following lesson
He doesn’t make you nervous when your driving… for me that mattered… he’s always on time and gives you genuine feedback.

I really like this place. Although expensive, it’s worth it since they teach you freeway driving and et cetera. Jimmy is a great teacher on the road but not in class. The class I attended (teens) kept messing around and we had a nice booklet and he’s literally read the answers out loud. The class was boring but necessary. Bring a friend and it won’t be that bad. :) I still love this place though, very professional!

I have taken driving lessons elsewhere 10 years ago, not only was it a stressful experince, it was a struggle learning each skill. So when I started this time at Sears, I was nervous and not confident at all, but my instructor, Jimmy Green, is so calm and patient that he put me at ease immediately. His instructions are also very clear, which make learning driving very easy. Will definitely recommend Sears and Jimmy Green!

This is the greatest driving school in the state of Washington! I feel like I’m a better driver than everyone else on the road, the classes are fun, the curriculum is safe and will keep you collision free, and the instructor Jim green is patient, fun, and an all around great guy!

Sears Driving School provides top of the line drivers ed for drivers of all ages. The price is very reasonable considering all the information that is taught. I just finished the course and I’m extremely happy that I chose this school. Jimmy Green is an amazing teacher! His calm disposition is very beneficial stressful drives. He’s always positive and friendly. He doesn’t point out faults but rather suggests ways you can improve. Thats why with Sears I actually feel like they want me to succeed! The school itself is right off Aurora and in a convenient location for people in Shoreline, Edmonds, and North Seattle.

I just finished my last driving lesson with Jimmy and I’m very satisfied with my driving lessons. My instructor was Jimmy (I think his last name was Green… I can’t remember but I know he works at the Shoreline and Bellevue branches) and he is a very professional and respectful instructor. He’s been with Sears over a decade and you know from the second you shake his hand for the first lesson, you’re gonna finish your last lesson with confidence in driving and abiding the driving laws. Not only is Jimmy very good at his job as an instructor, he’s also good at connecting with his student finding something in common or interesting to talk about so that the student can drive with less pressure behind the wheel (first day driving will make you nervous!). Jimmy is also very funny and will make every driving lesson entertaining and educational of coarse. I learned and enjoyed my driving lessons from Jimmy and Sears Driving School should be very proud to have him on their team. He’s definitely an big asset to the Sears Driving School and I’m sure I’m not the only one that would agree. I highly recommend Sears Driving School and ASK FOR JIMMY! I don’t know if Jimmy will ever read this but I strongly believe that students can drive safe because of great instructors like him. Thank you very much!
Lesson Plan I chose: I signed up for a 9 hour driving lesson with pick up and drop off service broken up to 6 parts. The car that Sears provided was a Honda Civic Hybrid (2009 – 2010 model). I thought this info might be useful for potential students. Good luck!
