Gennie is the owner and baker of SugarRush cupcake, although she would not have discovered her love of baking and creating beautiful cupcakes if it wasn’t for her youngest daughter, Mia, who wants to go to culinary school and become a pastry chef. They are a great team, creating new flavor a and decorations all the time!

Not only are the cupcakes deliciously amazing — the owners find a way to make every order custom to your occasion, and love the challenge. Kid’s parties, wedding showers, graduation, 16 or 21 birthdays… I can see where they can address all kinds of requests.
There is a wonderful balance between the cupcake and frosting which can easily be overwhelming if not made properly. Sugar Rush takes the cupcake to a new level.
It is always a great feeling to work with a local company, it is even better when the product outshines the big factory orders. Thank you ladies for a great experience — I will be sure to be back!
