Created a stunning, unique floral arrangement for my mother-in-law’s 90^th birthday. I ordered by phone based on web site pictures. I have never been to the store. Delivered on time. Flowers really lasted. Thank you.

For our wedding at Alverno (Villa del Sol d’Oro) I told myself I was going to make my own arrangements to save money, and I thought it would be a fun idea. Thank goodness I came to my senses a few months before and went over to Leonora Moss! I told Lori my vision and my budget. She put together a package that was truly astounding, both in quality and price. She knows so much about flowers that she was able to take the look I wanted and find similar flowers that matched within my budget. Leonora Moss knocked it out of the park, from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the ceremony flowers to the décor at the cake table to the rosemary sprigs in the napkins, to the boutonnières, plus they had great ideas about how to repurpose flowers for different parts of the wedding day and reception. The delivery and set-​up at the wedding was seamless. I will always be so grateful to the team at Leonora Moss.

I love this shop. Lorie is the florist I trust to make gorgeous, unusual arrangements that always delight and impress. The gifts at the boutique are whimsical and fun. I shop there whenever I need something extra special for a close friend. Highly recommended.

I walked in the store yesterday to buy a bouquet of dozen roses for a friend. The store looked unique, so I thought the bouquet would be too. Besudes, I like encouraging local businesses. After waiting for some time, thinking the wait will be worthwhile, to my amazement, the bouquet looked worse than what I could’ve made myself with roses from my garden.
Disappointed, and embarrassed with my friend!
Will not go there again!

The floral arrangements are quite artistic and creative. Laurie has a great aesthetic for both arrangement and gifts. Since I have less of a need for flowers but more for gifts I frequent the store often. She always carries creative and artistic gifts. Recently, I went in and she had these small paintings of cats that were super. I will fine out the artist’s name and give her credit.
If you need to get a last minute gift this is the place to come, and the store is always beautifully decorated… Super friendly as well.

I worked with Leonora Moss for my daughter’s November wedding at Castle Green in Pasadena. I came to the lovely little shop in Sierra Madre with my colors and concept sheets, Pinterest boards and fabric swatches and met with Lorie Westmoreland. She turned out to be quite the creative genius, very patient and thorough with a tremendous knowledge of flora and fauna.
I immediately liked and trusted her because she seemed to really understand the look that I wanted to create for the wedding. She took my vision and ran with it, adding her own personal touch to everything, making it an absolutely stunning visual event! I couldn’t have been happier with the flowers and the total outcome and my daughter was just as thrilled.
Lorie was also mindful of staying within my budget. Everything that she did was just beautiful and creative and she did not make anything look like a normal, staid arrangement. She adds so much movement and grace to her arrangements and finds the most gorgeous types of flowers and greenery. She also arranged for the hair flowers to be delivered early in the day and then the rest was set up at Castle Green later. Everything went perfectly. There were so many compliments on the flowers and colors from the wedding guests as well.
It’s always fun to go and «play» in her shop if you’re planning a wedding or any event. This is the floral master!

I used Leonora Moss to design and create my October wedding reception centerpieces and they turned out beautifully! The photos (mint julep themed) don’t do them justice, they were even more stunning in-​person. At the end of my reception everyone was asking if they could take an arrangement home, I received countless compliments and they really helped bring the overall look together.
I worked with Judith and she was patient and helpful in choosing flowers that were in-​season, cost effective, and in-​line with the style I wanted. Everyone was so easy-​going and they were easy to work with.
I have ordered Mother’s Day and Birthday bouquets from them in the past — all have been gorgeous. Definitely not your average florist.

I found this shop through a friend’s recommendation. I never would have found it otherwise (despite working only a few blocks away) because it is so hidden, but quite a gem! Everything in the storefront is adorable, a great place to get cute birthday gifts for friends and family!
We used them for our October wedding. Lori was amazing to work with! We walked in with very few ideas for our wedding flowers. She helped us figure out exactly what we wanted, showed us examples, and talked us through all the different price options. We were so pleased with how the arrangements turned out! It was just what we wanted! Lori made everything easy, with two different flower deliveries to make sure we got everything right where we needed it when we needed it! We were so impressed with the chuppah set up they did, it was just what we wanted! I am bad at visualizing, but I trusted that Lori had a vision, and she did, it turned out great!

Leonora Moss did the flowers for my wedding and I was beyond thrilled that I chose to work with them. I’m amazed by their knowledge of flowers and by their creativity. True artists! If you’re a bride, seriously, look no further. Not only will you have fun planning your colors & flower choices in their adorable shop, but your final product will be gorgeous and unique. They even designed my flowers so they could go from chair to table. Even if you’re not a bride, this is a fun florist to work with. I’ve ordered little surprise arrangements for family members here before and they always turn out great. They did a little succulent in a crystal teacup for my mom years ago and she still talks about how happy it made her.

Leonora Moss, a family owned floral shop in the heart of Sierra Madre’s quaint downtown was the perfect choice when planning the floral pieces for my dear dad’s memorial service. We were lucky enough to be guided through the overwhelming choices during such a difficult time by one of the family members, Lorie Westmoreland. Her kindness, patience and expertise resulted in the transformation of our backyard memorial event into a true celebration of my dad’s accomplished life and the love of his family and friends.

I just can’t say enough great things about this wonderful, family owned business. I recently got married in November and Leonora Moss came to the rescue when my original florist canceled on me 2 ½ weeks before my wedding. I had to find a great florist that I would trust to deliver amazing work, and I had to find one fast. I Unilocaled and found Leonora Moss. Called and was able to schedule and appointment within a couple days with the amazing Lorie. I knew at the very beginning of our first appointment that they would be our florist for our big day! Lorie is extremely knowledgeable, honest, patient, and she listens to exactly what you want. She went above and beyond to work with our budget, yet still provide beautiful, full arragements. Everything was delivered on time and was exactly what I envisioned. I I’m late to posting this review, but a huge THANK YOU to Lorie and family for delivering such beatiful work and excellent customer service. I will definitely recommend all friends and family to you. And it’s always great to support local, family owned businesses.

I came in to the shop and Lenora was working on another project. She put that down and promptly started helping me. I needed 30 flowers «to-​go» and she was accommodating and helpful. She put extra ribbon on each flower for me that made my event more special. Definitely has great taste to. Nice shop!

This is a wonderful flower shop in Sierra Madre. You are guaranteed a beautiful and unique bouquet whether you order on the phone or in person. The flower arrangements last longer than most. But not only is it a great flower shop, it is a gem of a store for unique gifts, cards, artwork, and jewelry. Support our local florist, buy some cute knick knacks, and write home with a great card from this shop. You won’t be disappointed.

On short notice, Judith took our order and provided our family with the most beautiful remembrance at our Mom’s Memorial Service. We are very grateful for Judith’s talent + her ability to listen to our detailed requirements + then put those concepts into reality. Great job!

Lori was our florist for my daughter’s wedding, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The wedding was Mother’s Day weekend – first challenge – and my daughter is very opinionated – second challenge. Lori met my daughter’s minimalist design expectations – and made this more traditional mom very happy as well.
Lori is creative, easy to work with, and most importantly for a wedding, calm in the eye of the storm.
I have seen her centerpieces for events and gifts and they are wonderful as well – she is my florist of choice.

I wish I could rate this florist more highly; I definitely like to support local, family-​owned establishments. But…
I ordered flowers for delivery, making it clear that I wanted a definite «wow factor.» I was careful to ask if I was spending enough to get that effect (approx $ 80) and I was assured that I was.
The upshot? No wow. When I saw the arrangement, I was disappointed and the recipient was appreciative, but not beaming.
I wasn’t happy and I won’t be back.
Suggestion: If you’re a bride, you may want to give them a chance; I happen to know several brides who had LM do their flowers and they were very happy. My experience may have been an off day or maybe weddings are their specialty and they don’t really «do» one-​of arrangements.

A very creative floral & gift shop in the heart of Sierra Madre.
Their flower arrangements are one-​of-​a-​kind standouts. None of your typical, run-​of-​the-​mill carnation creations here. They definitely have an eye for artistic arrangements.
As for their gift offerings, they have everything from decorator pillows and candles to clever signs and greetings cards. Even gardening accessories.
If you’re looking for a creative gift for someone, this is the place to go.
All the moreso if you like to support local small businesses.

I don’t live in California, so when I wanted to send a friend flowers for her wedding I did a search on Google maps and this is how I found Leonora Moss.
The Lady on the phone was extremely helpful and super friendly despite the fact that at first I could not find my credit card and that I was also missing my friend’s phone number, while I looked for my card she asked me if I mind being on hold while she was helping a customer, she was very patient but she was the one thanking me for my patience !
The only downside is that I wanted a lot of the same flowers (white roses) and they did not keep that many but she gave me a couple of suggestions always asking if the price was okay with me first.
The price was very reasonable, the delivery was on time, my friend was very pleased by the beautiful bouquet, The work she did definitely exceeded my expectations! Thank You so much !

As other reviewers mentioned, Lorie really «gets it» and if you don’t know what that means, then either you have not started looking for a florist or you just want to pick something out of the FTD catalog and be done with it. She was happy to work with my mishmash of vintage containers, and even provided a few more that blended right in.
