Mr Fix It of Sierra Vista

Excellent customer service and professional. The work that Mr Fix it performed on my house was above and beyond what any other contractor in Sierra Vista would do! He is honest, reliable and a Godly man. I had a leak in my roof which caused my fire place to take in excessive amounts of water and developed mold. Mr fix it took out all the moldy wood, treated the fireplace and completed the work in a matter of a couple days. Excellent work sir!!! One happy customer!!! thanks again

The only thing I don’t like is it took almost 2 months to have someone come out here. It was worth the wait though!

Mr. Fix It rerouted the pipes in our old, old house because the existing pipes had corroded underground. As these things go, it was a mostly positive experience. I think I got my money’s worth, which is always a nice feeling.
Here’s what I liked about the job they did:
1) They gave us the first quote quickly (same day).
2) They gave us the second quote on time.
3) They scheduled us for the initial diagnosis and the first part of the job in a timely manner and kept their appointments.
4) They seem like nice guys who know what they’re doing.
5) Once they started the job, they stuck with it and finished it quickly. They take pride in their work.
6) My house looks great! They redid our driveway and it looks fantastic. They had to cut a line through my garage and then refill it with concrete, and they did an excellent job on that. They re-​tiled the areas they had to tear up. They even brought in a load of pea gravel as an apology for starting a day late, and made our yard presentable again. I’ve had a total stranger stop by my house to compliment me on my new driveway.
A few complaints kept me from giving 5 stars:
1) They revised their quote to a higher amount in the middle of the job.
2) They were a no-​show on the first day they were supposed to start working.
3) They ran over their estimated completion date by 3 days.
4) A bunch of stuff broke in our house after they did their work– all plumbing related. It was little stuff. The increased water pressure after they turned the water off and on broke the floats in both our toilets, and our kitchen sink started leaking. We had to replace those things ourselves.
Long story short, you will get what you pay for with this company, which is a rarity in Sierra Vista. I always walk into contracts with Sierra Vista businesses expecting to get shafted, but that’s not the case here. It is expensive, but they do quality work. They won’t cut you any breaks, but they won’t cut any corners, either. I’m very happy with the job they did and I would consider using them again in the future.
EDIT: The owner, Bill, did contact me on Unilocal thanking me for the review. I wanted to give a quick update on a few things I forgot.
Their tile guy was friendly, polite and a clear communicator, which I loved. I like it when people spell out what they’re going to do for me in advance. He also replaced a few tiles in our house that were already broken prior to this job, free of additional charge.
I had also forgotten that Mr Fix It hauled out a large wooden box that had been attached to the side of our house. I’m very happy that they saved us the effort of breaking it down and taking it to the dump ourselves.

The owner came out this summer on short notice and gave us an estimate to fix our roof. The work done to our roof was exceptional and so far no leaks at all. Snow on the roof and monsoon season will tell.
