Granite Transformations

Just completed two projects with this company and I am VERY happy.
Rob and Meg Ann handled the initial phone calls and estimating with total professional skill, efficiency and friendly personalities. (It’s surprising how often that does not happen with other companies). In short time, I had an estimating appointment scheduled, the process explained, the samples to show my client and a detailed estimate that was very reasonable.
Earl and Neil did the template and final installation. Again, very nice people offering expert work, perfect detailing and the finished countertops look absolutely gorgeous!
I could not be happier and more relieved to have found such a great resource. I recommend reading their website so you understand their services and great selection of products.
Even my contractor was impressed. When he saw the counters for the first time, he asked me for their name!

We had GT redo our kitchen counters about 3 years ago. One of the seams near the sink/​dishwasher started to separate. We called and Don came out to see the problem. He agreed that the entire piece around the sink needed to be replaced. Earl came out and did a beautiful job installing it within a week. The replacement looks identical to the original.
This is a wonderful product and a fabulous company.

Used the granite transformation in Anaheim. The countertop is wonderful but do NOT ask them to do anything else. They contract out the work and do not guaranty their work.

We still had the old 4″ square tiles on our bathroom counter top. The rest of the room had been remodeled by my «do-​it-​yourself» husband but we’d never made a decision as to what we wanted on the counter top until I came across (online of course) this wonderful place that is Granite Transformations. They covered over the old ugly tile with beautiful granite, about ¼ inch thick, with very little demo, only for the new under mount sink, like putting a lid on a box. One day and done. Richard and Eddie came here in the morning, made a template, took that and the sink back to their shop to work their magic and came back a few hours later to do the install. Everyone there, from the showroom, Meg Ann, Hank who brings the samples so you can make the right choices, color, style, material etc, to the so talented craftsmen/​installers, to Vaughn who hooked the faucet/​sink back up, is fantastic. They are friendly, helpful and with great senses of humor so a pleasure to do business with.

We recently upgraded our kitchen with their granite counter-​tops and mosaic back splash and the results were fantastic! In addition to the great results, everything Hank promised came to fruition.
There were no delays, everything stayed on track and we had everything installed in one day.

Granite Transformations just completed renovating my kitchen and I couldn’t be more pleased. I had postponed this for 3 years mostly because of the hassle factor. Hank told me they’d take care of everything and they did! He gave me a detailed timeline before they started and everything went like clockwork. The results are gorgeous. The granite countertops and backsplash were done in 3 days. The cabinets were done in a week. In between I had new appliances delivered and the marble kitchen floor refinished. I have a whole new kitchen in 2 weeks!

Really impressed with the work done in my bathroom by granite transformations. I live in a condo with a funny sized vanity and didn’t want to invest in extensive demo and costly build outs.
The crew that did the work was top notch. Friendly, professional, detailed and hard working. The whole project took 2.5 days and all I wonder now is why I didn’t do it sooner. Only problem with this project is that it makes the rest of my house look bad.

Wow, nothing like making your kitchen look like the catalogs, in three days. All I can say, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL. One of the owners in Signal Hill, Hank, was great to work with. He was very accomodating and worked with my schedule. Earl, the installer is excellent, he does a great job, clean, quick and efficient. You can tell he likes his job, he puts pride into his work. The other owner Dan, was very pushy and tried to convince me the glass I took a photo of was the same that I got. Otherwise, Hank came to the rescue, solved the problem. I didn’t give it a 5 due to the other owner and his lack of customer care. BUT, i’d hire them again as everyone else was amazing, professional, hard working. Can’t let one sour grape ruin the cluster.

I worked with the Redondo Beach store, and had a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. Every employee was helpful and competent. My counter and backsplash were refaced in just one day. Hallelujah! It looks great. They recommended a great plumber who came out and replaced my faucet and installed some new appliances. My old plumbing can be temperamental, but he made sure that everything worked right. I’ve had both of my bathrooms replaced prior to this, and just couldn’t face another long remodeling project. I’m very happy with the result.

Granite Transformations get a huge rating from myself and my wife. We had an old sink in our rental home and wanted to replace it for some time, but it was just too expensive to replace everything including cabinets since it was mounted below the tile, and we loved the fact that the original cabinets were made out of wood. So we had granite transformations come out and show us what they had to offer. We had previously had a bid from a construction company to come out and tell us what they could do, and ofcourse it meant ripping out the cabinets and tile and doing a complete renovation. Not what we could afford, nor what we wanted. Granite Transformations came out and told us they could mount right over the top and it would be no problem, and we would not have to replace the cabinets. We decided to go with them especially since the price was right. They had a tough time with the sink considering it was originally mounted on the wood under the tile, but they made it happen. The owner even came by to make sure things were being done the right way. I was at work and my wife had to handle it alone. The guys were great and very professional. I even referred them to my mother to have her counters and sink done also and she was in love with the final product. Take note of possibly replacing your sink with one of the ones they offer – I went with the stainless over the counter type, since it is a rental and I need to be able to fix if something happens, but if I lived there I would have gone with one of there models, they look really good. We have lived with a very ugly white tile bar countertop in our den for the last 25 years thinking we would eventually rip out the bar & completely remodel the room. With the recession the past few years, we decided to put those plans on hold as the cost would have been prohibitive. How happy we were the day we saw an ad for Granite Transformations showing their granite installation overtop a white tile counter just like ours! We immediately called the company to come out & give us an estimate. Hank, the owner, was so friendly, polite, and knowledgable about the products and process, & we were sold when we got the quote. This is such an amazing product; the installation was quick with no demo or mess, and the finished look exceeded our expectations! What an easy fix to update an out of date room without weeks or months of contractor mess and headaches (we’ve been there many times over the last 25 years in our home!). My husband & I own a boat and we recently decided to completely remodel its’ interior. When we looked at the choices we had for new counter tops, the decision was clear… Granite was definitely the look we wanted.
Next, we looked at different companies that do granite work. After meeting with several unimpressive people, we met Hank from Granite Transformations. First off, he was SUPER friendly and professional over the phone. He met us at Long Beach marina on a Saturday morning to look at our boat. Very quickly it became clear how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his work. We spoke of the different options we had for this job. Taking his time to answer all of our questions and concerns, we decided that there was no need to interview anyone else. He took measurements and told us that after the templates were done, the job would move very quickly. He said that once the granite was cut & ready in their shop, that it would be installed in our boat in ONE day… Having done lots of upgrades to our home in the past, and having worked with many contractors over the years, I figured he was exaggerating by telling us that the granite would be installed in «one day»… However, to our surprise and amazement, he came through with his promise… Since the product that they use does not require demolition of existing counter tops… Instead they create a granite overlay and apply it directly over the existing counters. The finished job is absolutely breathtaking! The interior of our little boat now looks like a luxurious yacht — thanks to Granite Transformations!
I can’t say enough of the professionalism of everyone at Granite Transformations! From Hank & Joy at the showroom, to the actual installer, Earl… Earl is truly a talented craftsman who pays attention to even the smallest of details.
We will definitely call again on Hank, Joy & Earl to help us with future jobs, since we can no longer accept anything less than what they offer — which is EXCELLENCE — in customer service, and their finished product.

This review should have come years ago. I remodeled my kitchen and they were a awesome! Awesome to work with and an awesome product. They create a granite overlay and put it right over your old counter tops so there’s no demolition (other than them removing my old kitchen sink and putting in a new one). These guys were so professional, quick to respond to any questions. Even the owner came by to check out how the installation was going.
The guys who did the actual installation were amazing and professional, the subcontractors they recommended to re-​install the stove and plumb the sink were all wonderful too. I also had my cabinets refaced and the company they recommended was fantastic too.
I highly highly recommend them!
