History

Established in 1980.

The Undershirt began as a retail T shirt shop in the Belmont Shore area of Long Beach, CA. It was owned by Joan Heise and Lee Halter. They moved the business to Signal Hill, CA where they began to specialize in business accounts. Shari Blackwell purchased the business in August 2003, focusing a great deal of the marketing efforts to the restaurant trade. However, we embroider and screen print apparel for all industries, Plumbers, Electricians, Trade Show apparel for businesses, as well as restaurant uniforms. We offer a full line of organic apparel, and also have branched out in to promotional items. The Undershirt is active in the Signal Hill Chamber of Commerce.
