I have been a client on several occasions during the past two or three years. In each instance, Michele has found the source of my issue, described it at a level I could understand, and dealt with it. She is a skilled and knowledgeable professional, and I am happy to be able to recommend her. When I say that she is professional, I mean not only that she has had professional training, but also that she is professionally ethical: if she concludes that your issue is outside the scope of what she does, she will send you elsewhere instead of wasting your time and money. If I could give her an extra star, I would.

If I could buy her a sixth star, I would. In a single visit, Michele Macomber freed me from THREE YEARS of chronic pain and relative immobility following a car accident. The two chiropractors I’d seen regularly until then only gave me partial and temporary relief. This person changed my life in one visit.
Of course it didn’t stop there. Any time I fell down the stairs or slipped on the ice, I’d procrastinate a day or two wondering if I could stand up straight without help. Procrastinating only prolongs the pain. Take it from me, in my personal experience a visit to Michele guarantees instant relief.
I realize that most people don’t understand that what Michele Macomber performs is about as much like «traditional massage» as Accupuncture. Michele is trained to unlock rock-​hard tight muscle spasms, and decipher what is often a network of such spasms. Imagine your body as a safe, and she is your safecracker.
I would like to share the following experience of a friend following my recommendation that he see her, and I hope he posts his own glowing review. He ought to! Perhaps he’ll be super brief and just direct others to my review and say «WHAT HE SAID!».
About two or three years ago, I was talking with someone I’d known for years at conventions, it was not until that day that we made a connection. Something I said really impressed him and our discussion became a little more personal. I commented that for as long as I’ve known him, I’d noticed his appearance of weakness and pain, his rigid posture, etc. I was expecting him to tell me he’d had spinal fusion and was lucky to be able to walk. When he explained this was just how he stood, I begged him to see her and promised him that if he did he’d have more energy, feel more relaxed, sleep better, etc.
Within two weeks, he did see her, and immediately sent me a glowing email. The next time I saw him was at another convention. I barely recognized him. No longer was he locked into a permanent, rigid, slouch. I commented on this and he BEAMED at me as he writhed and gimbaled like some sort of Latin dancer. I’m sorry if that sounds too good to believe, but I swear it is the truth.

Not worth the $ 120 an hour. Especially not worth the $ 240 for an initial consultation. Supposedly had a lot of experience but did not do anything I couldn’t have done myself. Did not relieve my pain. Certified with NAMTPT 20 years ago so knowledge may be outdated. Did not perform any of the in-​depth assessments listed on the website. Nice lady but will not return and do not recommend to others. There are more knowledgeable, attentive, gifted therapists out there that actually can help you.

I scoured the internet looking for someone to help me with my neck when I had terrible pain. I had good luck with a physical therapist but I needed someone to help me go a step further and attack the problem at its source. That’s when I found Michele Macomber.
I had been looking for a deep tissue massage therapist because I needed the spasms to be worked out but no massage therapist worked as effectively as I needed. I felt maybe 5% better after a massage but it didn’t last. Then I found out about trigger point therapy and *that* was the treatment I had been searching for without realizing it.
It took a few sessions but not nearly as long as physical therapy and I found myself feeling looser and more limber than I had in years. I can’t recommend her enough.
