Nail Perfection

Nancy did my nails and eyelash and I was very happy she always does a great job on me she been doing my nails for years just stared eyelashes she doing great job on these to I love Nancy!!! love

This place is the worst! If I could give zero stars, I would. Completely horrible service, the place was filthy, and the service was the poorest quality I’ve experienced in this area. All I needed was a fill in and replacement nail. I was going to get my eyebrows done but there was no way in heck I would let them do it after my experience. The man who did my nails did the sloppiest job, was barely paying attention, clearly didn’t do nails on a regular (I cannot believe someone could be that bad) kept haphazardly filing my skin, and in mid job got up to use the phone for 5 minutes. At the tail end of the call I heard him say to the person on the phone «I’m sorry.» However, he had zero apology when he resumed my nails and didn’t even remember where he left off. And to boot the replacement nail already feels like its falling off. The polish job was so bad I had to fix it myself by getting someone else in the place to give me a brush and acetone… polish all over my skin and overflowing from the nails. This place clearly could care less about repeat business.

I came here on a Saturday and paid extra for gel nails. They chipped by the next afternoon. I had to go out of the country so I came back when I got back (within the week) and they refused to re-​do my nails or provide me with a refund. I asked the lady could I speak to a manager and she said they were not there. I told her to call them and then 5 minutes later the owner came out of the back of the salon. The owner kept saying he was trying to be nice to me by offering to redo my nails for half price. I told him most nail salons will fix their work when it is sub-​par quality. Then I asked him would he at least refund me half the money I paid to upgrade to gel nails. He refused. Ladies save your money and go to another nail salon with quality work and good customer service.

Ok, So the first time I went it wasn’t bad. But now I am never returning.
I received a pedicure and manicure (french full set) Helped by Nancy.
PEDICURE: All was pretty good up until the part where the nail polish was added. It would not drive. I was there for over an hour, and it did not dry. And when my manicurist said it was dry, I put on my shoes only for them to get messed up. She did fix, but told me to just walk to my car with the purple slippers and I’ll be fine. It was still wet at this time. When I walked outside the wind literally blew the slipper on my toes and it was messed up again. I ended up just buying the color at Rite Aid and did them myself. She also cut my toe nails way to short.
MANICURE-​Full Set: HORRIBLE. I don’t get this done often because I like natural nails better but needed it to last for over a week. She did not do anything for a manicure. Not even push back my cuticles, or cut the hang nails. No lotions, or oils, no nothing. Just straight into doing nails. I have never seen this type of service before! The actual full set itself was horrible. Some of my nails were off in length then the other hand. I literally took them off in less than a week.
It is not worth the price or service.

I have the same complaint about the groupon deal. It wasn’t a deal. Also, the hot stone was a waste of time. However, my service was good and done well. Their prices are great. I’ve returned a few more times since then. Just don’t buy a groupon deal from them.

Slow service, but who can beat $ 34.99 gel full set + pedicure???

Came here with a groupon… which was only 2 $ less than their posted price (not the price quoted on groupon)… Not clean, smelly, …massage chair dirty and broken. I saw a blister pack for the tools… but they still appeared dirty. Stone massage was a joke… barely a massage, more like an awkward foot rub (not much on the legs like other pedis I’ve had). Shoddy paint job, poor color choice. While I was there, a woman came in to have a re do of her mani from day before… she said it was awful and she would never return… nor will I

I had a different experience from the other ladies who have reviewed Nail Perfection. This place is reasonably priced but the service is lacking. Went there for a girls night, thanks to Groupon. When we got there, we saw that the price we paid was only $ 2 less than what they actually charge. You can get a mani+pedi for $ 18. The mani+stone massage is $ 25. Great deals right? As long as you don’t care about service…
They take their last pedicure at 7 (close at 8) — but they will rush so they can leave at 745. The people who did our nails left the store before we did. We were left with 2 women who were very rude. I understand it was time for them to go home, but ignoring us wasn’t the way to communicate closing time.
If you decide to go here — try to go much before closing time. My friend had Nancy do her nails — we recommend asking for her.

This salon feels brand new. And the nail tech’s are quiet and work peacefully. Great color OPI options, about 10 gel nail polish colors. They do pink and whites and threading. I took away one star because I did a small cut on my finger when they were trimming my cuticles and that hurt– but they did put peroxide on it right away to make sure it stayed clean.

So why is this Cali girl coming over to MD to do a review, it’s cause she was on Vacay duh! LOL!!! Even during a vacation, a girl needs to be pampered… so i stumble on this little gem! I was always taught to never judge a book by its covered and boy am i glad! Of course, this place looks like every other nails salons out there but its what was inside that made me write a review about them. I felt at ease right a way when i was greeted with a warm smile!!! The lady that did my pedi was super sweet!!! Overall, it get’s the job done with an affordable price! If i am ever in the area again i would defiantly go back to this little gem in Maryland again!

I came all the way out here on the suggestion of my hair stylist, and I’m so glad I did. I went for my first acrylic tips ever. Tina did a wonderful job explaining the steps as we went and patiently answering my questions and dealing w/​my indecisive attitude. I ended up with a set of perfect acrylic tips and a nice gel wrap over that.
It’s quite a trek for me from Capital Hill with no car, but I’m probably going back just for a guaranteed level of service and the extremely reasonable prices.
