History

Established in 1997.

For 20 years across the nation and sometimes across the world, I’ve captured images and memories that last a lifetime.

For 5 years I worked and learned from other wedding and portrait Photographers in the Kansas City Metro area. Then after spending 9 years documenting our Naval Service men and women, my main goal and purpose became to capture peoples emotions and most prized memories in their environment, where they are the most comfortable, doing what they usually do; or always wanted to.

Greetings, I’m Dustin…

I’ve always been a bit of a shutterbug, but my spark for creating on location portraiture really came to life in 1995 when I start apprenticing with and then working alongside well known Wedding and Portrait photographers.

In the summer of 2001, I left my home town of Kansas City, Ks. to pursue a career as a photojournalist in the United States Navy, little did any of us know that a few months later the worst attack on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor would occur — for the next 9 years I proudly served this country by photographing, video-​recording and documenting the day to day lives and jobs of our service men and women; from an Aircraft Carrier in the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf to the Pentagon in Washington D.C.

Now, I’ve settled in Maryland with my wonderful family; striving to provide the best artistic photography and visual storytelling for companies and individuals.
