We have been ordering from Wok Gourmet for about two years now, and we like it. Most of the time the food is great… we have had a couple of times where it is so-so…but it hasn’t discouraged us from ordering. the only problem is that they seem to be closed… I saw where the previous reviewer said that they were doing rennovations, but they still haven’t reopened! Bummer… especially since I am pregnant and I feel like I NEED an egg roll… ha.

We should have written a review long ago because we’ve been ordering from them for several years, every week or two. They are the best Chinese delivery in the area and the prices are great too. It wasn’t until recently when I ordered from them and they said that they were going to be renovating for a week that we truly started missing them. We’ve tried a few other Chinese delivery and haven’t been nearly as happy. Unfortunately, Wok Gourmet still isn’t answering their phone weeks later. I can only hope the renovations were delayed.

I lived in Glenmont for four years and loved this place. Quick delivery, friendly service and tasty, hot food with large portions. No matter what day I called, I also had the same delivery driver, and the same person took my orders each time. They were very professional and friendly. The food was always good and they were very flexible about changing the order if I changed my mind. I ordered from this place at least once a month; the delivery guy and I practically had a standing appointment. I was never disappointed.

This place is just awful. The worst Orange Chicken that I have ever had. The other reviews of this place is just wrong, but then again it’s been about a year since anyone reviewed this place. Maybe they are under new management and that is why they suck now. The menu has a lot of misspellings on it, which should be the first clue not to eat there. Service is so so but the food is just nasty. I wish I could give this place a better review since it’s really close to my apartment, but I can’t.

Heaping portions that are very reasonable in price.
This was our first visit there, so we weren’t aware of the «limited» eat-in seating. We placed our order at the counter and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. Only downfall was that the food was served in the normal to-go containers and we were given paper plates to eat from. The food was very delicious and was served piping hot. In fact, my soup took about 15 minutes to cool down to the point where I could eat it and not burn my mouth. I highly recommend the crispy chicken, the portion was huge and it was delicious. Will definitely return, but most likely for takeout.

My wife and I moved to Silver Spring in February, and tried at least six other Chinese food restaurants before finding Wok Gourmet. We’re so happy we found them. They are the only place we order from. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I couldn’t ask for better and more accomodating service. It’s like having my own personal Chinese chef. These people aim to please!!! Where can you request General Tso’s shrimp GRILLED not FRIED… here. Not only the General tso’s but just about ANY dish that’s normally fried can be done up healthier by request. Besides that, I couldn’t ask for faster delivery service. You WON’T be disappointed… check ‘em out
