Amazing talent tucked away in a little Salon — I came into New Concept Salon to get my hair color repaired after I tried to color it myself and created spots at the root– It looked aweful!
BonaDea knew immediately what to do – within an hour it was fixed and looks beautiful, she also repaired my hair cut, blended all the layers and created a cut that moves naturally. I’m a very HAPPY customer.

I love this little local salon! I came to BonaDea after a very expensive salon made my hair black! I have very light brown hair. Not only did she fix my color without damaging my hair but it was better than before! I had to laugh at the last person that mentioned her… if you need hand holding and touchy feelings… not the girl for you as she is honest with no sugar coating.
Bottom line… she knows her stuff!!!

I am hard to please because my hair is so temperamental and quirky. To cut and color my hair well requires top-​notch skill and an excellent eye. Let me just say that I came out of this salon feeling absolutely jazzed about the entire experience. Jen was a great listener, yet guided me with confidence. The result showed me that she knows what she is talking about. Catch her, if you can!

I feel bad for writing a bad review about a small business but yikes…
The hair stylist, BonaDea I think is her name, was SO critical and judgey. She was so quick to point out all the flaws in my hair… «your hair’s too dry, your hair’s uneven, your hair’s an awful mess» (she totally said that!) I’d be receptive if she was nice and helpful but she said those things in such a condescending way that it was like she was the Gordon Ramsey of the hair styling business. Then when she was cutting my hair her friend walked in and she talked to her the whole time in a loud voice … she wasn’t even paying attention to my hair! The outcome was terrible… she hacked off 3 more inches than I asked and the layers were uneven and awkward. I almost cried!
Her prices were reasonable … that’s why I gave her an extra star… but I guess you get what you pay for!
