We are 2 brothers with a combined 44 yrs of tile marble stone and glass tile installations from flooring to decks to full bath and kitchen remodels to fireplaces and walkways. NO job too small and as well as huge demolitions and remodels including pool tile and small electrical and kitchen and bath plumbing jobs, that include new shower/​bath valves, installing new toilets and vanities and plumbing in sinks and faucets. Fully licensed and bonded/​insured. Specialist in medallions and mosaic and high end stone materials. We live to be clean efficient on time and reliable and love our customers and our profession. We also give our contractors discount to all our customers in helping their overall buying power of their tile and stone material purchases at any and all tile stores. I started in the tile union in 1989 and went to apprentice helper school for 3 years and then was a Journeyman tile and marble Installer. Worked for some big companies including J&S floors and walls and counters division for 10 yrs. I have been on my own with my younger brother and business partner who I brought in the buz and trained. Iam above all a true family man. I am married 26 yrs now to my high school sweetheart and we have daughters 27 and 25 a son who is 23 and another daughter who is 8. We are Irish Catholic and went to 12 yrs of catholic school and raised by our Father a marine and LAPD officer and strict Mother. I believe in family, respect and good children and schooling. I love my clients and usually become friends after working for them. I live my work and always have a positive attitude. We could not be happier with our new wood-​look tile floors. Tim’s work is impeccable. In addition to a great new tile job, Tim helped us repair a bad job done by someone else. He told me before hand how he was going to lay the floor and did exactly that without skipping steps or trying to ‘cheapen’ the project. Our floors are sturdy and beautiful. When we redo our kitchen counters, Tim will be our guy. His price was fair and we got to meet his lovely family. He is a solid, small business owner with a lot of integrity.

We could not be happier with Tim’s work on our home! He is amazing at his job! He tiled our floors and our home looks so beautiful and modern now because of Tim. We went through a lot of hard work trying to find someone who was qualified for this job and when we found Tim through Unilocal and spoke to him over the phone for the first time, we knew we had found our tile installer. He is not only very personable and friendly, he is very professional, reliable, and truly cares for his clients. He is very experienced at what he does and is very skillful. He knew exactly what kind of floors we were looking for and made them into a reality. Tim went out of his way to make the installation easy for us. He showed up to work on time every day and would send us periodic pictures as to his progress. Even weeks after the installation, he kindly and patiently answered many of our questions. He gave us true peace of mind. He is amazing and we would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to change their floors into something spectacular! I would not think twice about hiring anyone else should me or anyone I know ever need tile work again.

Where do I begin with Tim and Ryan???
What an unbelievable, incredible experience working with them!
We had a flood in our house and decided to do some upgrades while we were put out. We were uncertain of what to do. Carpet? Laminate? Tile? Tim was available to us from day one for all the answers to my 5 million questions. No matter what we chose, he was there to help us.
We finally got smart and decided to tile our house in wood planked tile and I have never been more ecstatic with a decision about my home before.
Once work started, they came in each morning with nothing but positive vibes and smiles on their faces. The energy in my home which would have otherwise have been stressful on my husband and I and our 3 small children was just so upbeat. Everyone was smiling with them around. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I wish they were still working in my house! Can I hire you to amp us up every morning please?!
Never before have I experienced a company in this otherwise stressful industry that is so reliable, so available, and so professional, and FUN! Who makes home renovations fun!!! These guys!
We also hired them to convert our tub to a walk in shower and oh my goodness. It’s so beautiful!!!
So I’ve spoken about their work ethic and great attitudes, but let’s talk about the finished product. WOW WOW WOW!!!
My floors and shower are so gorgeous. They are everything I have ever dreamed of and more. I am now the envy of all my friends and I’m not mad about that! Such clean work. It’s as if they take their passion into every tile they lay.

These guys could not of done a worse job on my fireplace. I am having to have the stone ripped out and completely redone by someone else. I bought some really expensive stacked stone for my fireplace and they made a mess of it installing it poorly. Tim must of told me 10 times that he loves to do fireplaces, but I wish I would of known that he wasnt good at it. The Stone is crooked, unevenly proportioned, sloppy mortar every wear so its oozing out and some even on the top of the stone.
You can see large gaps in between the stone in many areas as well being able to clearly see the old red brick behind the stone which they just stacked over and didnt cover with cement board first.
I questioned Tim and his brother when they were done installing the stone, asking if that was right because it looked crude and unfinished and there solution was to just use some spray paint to spray over the joints and sloppy glue to cover up the poor job they did. Giving Tim the benefit of the doubt I decided to call 5 other mason stone installers including the supply house where I bought the stone and sent them all pictures of Tims work. The overwhelming response was that these guys didnt know what they were doing and the only way to salvage it would be to tear it out and start over. All of the people I talked to laughed when I said he wanted to use spray paint to cover up the joints.
Tim was a very cool guy and personable to talk to and I had high expectations. Maybe this guy can do ok tile work, but when it comes to stacked stone fireplaces, he is a hatchet, and look else where. If he refers you to his «contractor» buddy Dan, dont use him either. Dan is just a handyman that did more damage than good also.
When I questioned Tim about not being thrilled with the outcome, he got very rude and defensive and started insulting me. Refused to redo anything and said spray paint was the fix. This guy is a smooth talker and seems genuine, but stay away, he is just not good. He was fairly priced, but not if you have to pay someone else to fix it.

Tim and his brother recently replaced my tile floor and installed a new glass/​stone mosaic back splash in my kitchen. My wife and I were extremely happy with the results and I can not recommend Tim and his brother enough. Even though this was not a big project, we were treated like it was their most important one. They even handled several special requests without complaint and answered any questions I had quickly. These guys are very professional, courteous, reasonably priced, and do outstanding work. Highly recommended!

As a creative producer, I’m very picky about who I choose to work with. I do a lot of research, and I get multiple bids. When I met Tim, I was immediately impressed with him. He was a straight shooter, knowledgeable, sincere, responsive to all my questions and reasonably priced. I wanted a very clean and modern look for my master bathroom remodel, with large format ceramic tiles and a chic linear drain that required some figuring out. Tim and his brother were great partners, figuring out solutions every step of the way to give me what I had in mind. We encountered a couple of issues through the project, and Tim stepped up to each issue in an honorable and professional manner. In the end, the two of them did a terrific job, and I couldn’t be happier with the result!

When we decided to remodel one of our bathrooms, I began to research «Tile Guys» in the area. I came across Designed Concepts on Unilocal and decided to give them a call.
Tim and his brother were great to work with. From the very beginning we felt assured that they were true professionals and we were in good hands.
They worked around my dad’s very busy schedule and were very punctual. When they arrived, they took care of the house as if it was their own. Very clean, and incredibly efficient.
The whole family loves the way our bathroom tile turned out. The lines are flawless, and the look exceeds our expectations. We will definitely be calling Tim for our future tile needs.
Give Tim a call and look no further for top notch quality at a very reasonable price.
As a side note– anyone who is a LA Kings fan is already a straight shooter in my book.

After calling 3 tile guy referrals and getting absolutely no service, I went on Unilocal here and found Designed Concepts/​Tim.
He came over and gave me a quote right away. It was reasonably priced and detailed.
He scheduled my installation for the following week and checked in to make sure the time and date were still OK.
He installed a backsplash in my kitchen with glass tile and porcelain subway tiles to my specifications. It turned out to look so BEAUTIFUL!!!
They never made a mess and everything was put back in order to make my kitchen look amazing. I recommend these guys HIGHLY.
The only problem I see with my review is that perhaps they will not be available the next time I want them due to the business they should be getting!

When you consider price, quality, service and value… you won’t find a better company! I’ve known Tim for some time now and his work is absolutely perfect and beautiful, thesea guys really take pride in their work and customer satisfaction is their goal. They’ve now done 4 showers, 2 baths and a ktichen for me and many people have asked me who did such clean work. Also, and this is important, Tim does a lot of extra things that most tile guys forgo, whether it’s using a waterproof membrane or additional adhesive in the product, it really comes through. I love this guy and wouldn’t consider using anyone else!
