This little dive bar is awesome: as far as a local dive bar is concerned, it definitely deserves 5⁄5. Such a hidden gem in Simi. Their tap list is always rotating with legit beers, as well as your usual stuff. They let you bring food and have a jukebox. They are very accommodating when you ask them to put your team’s game on one of their 5 TVs. They regularly have weekend tap-takeover raffles and the occasional live entertainment. Of all the bars I’ve gone too, this is the one I frequent the most.

Of all the bars in Simi this place is my hands down absolute favorite. They have the best beer on tap. Its a little hidden gem of a place. From the outside, the small old red brick building looks like a dumpy little dive bar. The inside is small yet comfortable with a couple big screen TVs with a game or two on. The hike box on the wall is always good for a variety of different music. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. The beer selection is really why I love this place. If you like Pisa water they still have Coors and bud light down at the end of the tap line but if you like to try new beer from local breweries and others that you may have never heard of I highly recommend this place. Stouts, sours, ales and IPAs… They have it all and they are constantly changing the taps. Good people, good beer, good times!

Went here for the 2nd time tonight. It’s so nice to have a local bar with such a selection of beer on tap. Their prices are more than reasonable, bartender/beer server is friendly. Apparently every Wednesday night @ 9PM they have a game night, up to 4 people can win & get a round of beer. Will definitely be back!

Have you gone around the world, no? Then head down to the nugget and start your own page in book #1. Once you try all 26 wonderful brews on tap, you will then be initiated into the GN drinking team. I’m happily on my fourth round.

This is my favorite place to go. Home away from home. The regulars are awesome, the beer is amazing, the owner is friendly, the bartenders knowledgeable and sweet. Older crowd during the day, younger at night, but really all the people there are awesome to hang out with. I hang out with the older regulars just as much as the younger ones, and even chat with the younger casual crowd. It’s relaxed and just a nice place to hang out. They have beers that you don’t find on tap in most other places, they switch out the beers all the time, and they have free giveaways from the breweries occasionally. Don’t take your drinks outside the doors! There’s a smoking room out back. And the parking lot is pretty decent size and your car won’t be towed if you have to leave it there overnight. Also there’s a liquor store next door and a gas station across the street in case you run out of smokes, or need snacks. They sell chips and have free pretzels but sometimes you want more variety! If you’re respectful and nice, you’ll get the same in return.

Pub, not really. Dive bar, if thats what you want to call it. Just a little hole in the wall with a bunch of craft beer. The bartender was a bit slow but the beer is cheap. Same cowboy hat wearing dude sang every other Karaōke song. I have a feeling he is a regular. If your looking for a small no drama spot to get your drink on Golden Nugget the place. They don’t serve any food but let us bring in our own snacks.

What I used to view as a small little dive bar has evolved into a hip place to explore a great beer selection. Definitely get your name in there to do the around the world drinking team challenge. You might as well work on winning a drinking team shirt as you explore their amazing beer selections. Plus an awesome staff, great owners and down to earth atmosphere. You never have to worry about sleezeballs here. It attracts nice folk who just want to enjoy a great beer.

Best craft beer tap in Simi. If you can get past the odd oder(that it’s way 4 not 5 stars) not bad. Total local spot. A much older crowd then Chop House and if you have been there you know that’s ok. Not full of Simi Bros and tatted bar hags drinking Corona. People keep to themselves. The bar tender was sweet and knew her beer. Do not go here if dive bars aren’t your style. No windows, no food, it literally is just a bar.

Best tap list in Simi, it is a dive bar with an older crowd during the day, which turns into a younger crowd later in the day/night. These guys get amazing beers and it’s also very well priced!

I have lived in Simi almost all my life and right around the corner from this place for 20 years. Yet we were just introduced to it last year. They have recently added 15+ craft beer tabs. One of the few places in Simi to do so. Just a little old dive bar with great beer choices. When we first started coming here it was an older crowd but now great mix of old, young and middle age. Simi Valley.. it’s about time you joined the craft beer era!

This place is top notch. Came in for trivia night and thoroughly enjoyed the craft beer selection. They have 26 beers on tap at any given time and most of them are rotating craft beer taps. Also, these aren’t your average craft beers. Rare, elusive beers and classy limited releases frequent the taps. The taps rotate within a week or two, so make sure you come back often to get all the best stuff. Ask about joining the drinking team, you won’t be disappointed!

This gets 5 starts simply because it does what it is supposed to do, well. It’s a Dive Bar. It’s a Locals Bar. It does all of that wonderfully. There’s 25 taps, the middle taps are all craft beer with your standard not so awesome mega-brews off to the sides. They have their own seasoned pretzels that they make on the spot. They’re «crack pretzels» and I ate a lot of them on my first visit which was just the other night. Second, there’s a piano(which I heard is new) that people were jamming out on that are regulars. It’s a great atmosphere, with lots of TVs for how small it is. So you can catch your favorite games on. They also have keno, and lotto. It’s awesome. Finally, my favorite part… the drinking challenge. You’ll learn if you go enough or hear from someone else. It’s my mission at the moment. It’s not as dangerous as the term«drinking challenge» sounds.
