Shell Gas Carwash

Horrible service! The $ 5 car wash (discounted on Tue and Wed for $ 3) does not use Foam Wash the way it’s advertised, instead they use only water. When I questioned the attendant (Rosa) she lied and told me the soap on the regular car wash is clear vs the more expensive car washes. The sign advertising the car wash options clearly states Foam Wash is the same on all 3 options. I checked with other Shell stations in the area and they have never heard of a clear soap being used for the regular wash. That’s probably because this Shell station refers to WATER as clear soap. Since my car was even dirtier after going thru a Water Car Wash, I asked Rosa to give me the $ 7 car wash which according to her would have White Foam Wash instead of the Clear Foam Wash, but she refused. She gave me another coupon to go thru the Water wash again. I asked to speak to the manager, Mirna, but based on the reviews here on Unilocal,I can’t wait to see how that discussion will go. I realize this is only a $ 3 car wash, but I have 4 drivers in my family all using Shell credit cards and we spend over $ 600 /​month in gas with Shell. I should be able to get real soap instead of water when I need my car washed.

Horrible service! The gas attendant who’s name is Mirna was completely rude and disrespectful. I amongst others who frequent there have experienced the same on numerous occasions. There’s a USA gas down the street with the kindest customer friendly gas attendants.
