Jim just finished up some repairs, and I have to say what he has done here is «Top Notch».
He really knows what he is doing, I would recommend Jim and his service to anyone, it looks as good as new. He comes prepared and he comes with detailed knowledge of what needs to be done without overshooting the mark.
I would recommend Jim Lampman’s Carpet Service to anyone and everyone looking to repair and re-​fresh rather than tear out and replace. Many times all it needs is someone who «knows how» to «fix» the problem. Jim is that guy.

Jim is an artist. I had several different rooms with carpet holes or stains. He took great care to match the carpet color and grain. He is extremely conscientious and careful. Don’t hesitate to use him for your carpet repair.

Jim did an awesome job! I had a leak that required my carpet be lifted, dried, re-​padded, and put back. This included adding some drywall, reattaching base boards, and some caulking. Literally, my carpet looks like nothing ever happened in the first place! On top of that, Jim’s service is fairly priced, and the job gets done in a timely manner.

There is a reason that everyone rates Jim with 5 stars. Jim shows up on time, works hard (he worked on our carpet all day, not even taking a lunch break), and did fantastic work repairing the wrinkles we had in our carpet. This is the second time we had the have the same carpet repaired. The first time was done under warranty by the installers who clearly didn’t know what they were doing (after all, they caused the problems) and just wanted to get the job done quickly. Jim took the time to actually fix the problems correctly. I could not recommend him enough!

Jim showed up when he said he would and got right to work. In the midst of a chaotic moving day, he stuck to his task of repairing cat damage in the doorway of a bedroom. He brought several carpet options and we chose one that was pretty close. He cut a patch from a closet to do the actual repair and then patched the carpet in the closet with the carpet he brought with him. He was professional and his rates are quite reasonable.

You know when your cat shreds your stairs, and they are bare to the carpet backing. That’s what I had going on. Not just one stair but 7 of them. This job took Jim a solid 5 hours! Very detailed oriented, and really did a nice job.

A-​1 service. Great job today, re-​stretched my living room carpet, Jim didn’t like a lot of the tack strips so he replaced several at no charge. He was there for a couple of hours and did an outstanding job.

Jim is absolutely amazing. We recently moved in to our home with brand new carpet. Our dogs shredded the carpet at the entry where the carpet and tile meet. Jim repaired it and it looks like new. He’s honest and affordable. I will recommend him to anyone needing their carpet repaired. He’s awesome.

We had Jim come out to patch several holes in our carpet thanks to our puppy. His work was excellent, he took his time to make sure he did it right, he was very honest and his prices reasonable. We will definitely use him again in the future if needed.

Jim was over earlier to fix 2 holes in our carpet and his work was amazing. I still can’t tell where the hole was. The carpet blends right in and even though we didn’t have extra carpet for the piece he took out in the closet, he found a piece that he had that blended right in. I was a little worried that he wouldn’t travel all the way to Camarillo (since he is based in Simi) but when we did talk, we scheduled for a Saturday appointment. He called us the day before to confirm the appointment and about 30 – 40 minutes before he showed up. I work nights, and usually sleep during the day and Jim was very accommodating to my schedule. When Jim arrived, he explained everything that he was going to do and made sure we understood the whole process. He is a down to earth, but very professional guy and I would definetely recommend him for ANY carpet repairs. I feel that the price I paid was DEFINETELY worth the work that was done.

Jim helped us lay vinyl flooring to repair the ones damaged from plumbing repairs.
We tried calling 4 other people to get quotes for this job before we found Jim. 2 no showed for the appointment, 1 took a week to get a quote to us after numerous requests, and 1 never even called back. Jim was GREAT! Not only did he call us back right after we left our message, he came over that day to check out the damage and told us he would come over by a certain day to give us a quote… and he DID! It was refreshing to find someone that was reliable before he even got the job.
So we hired him. He showed up, did a Great, Meticulous Job with our floor. There were a few hang ups and unforeseen obstacles that he handled with care AND without complaint. He even stayed longer to finish the job knowing that we had a time limit on when the work had to be done and did not try to charge extra.
We will definitely use him again. Thanks Jim!
