Massage as Art is located in Simi Valley, created by Angelica Escobedo, CMT. Her specialties are therapeutic massage, Cupping, Pregnancy massage, and car accident injuries.

To get a massage, is an act of self-​love. During a session, you step away and retreat from this world, only to emerge renewed, and with the patience and calmness to serve all those in your care. What better way to honor yourself, your body, your spirit.

Only the highest quality equipment and products are used. Angelica is proud to be Simi Valley’s only massage therapist specializing in car accident injuries. If you have Personal Injury Protection (PIP) in your car insurance policy, your massages will be covered.

Open 6 days a week, by appointment only. Massage as Art is a judgement-​free zone, every BODY is welcome.

After working at spas since 2009, I was ready, body, mind, and spirit, to start my own practice. The name Massage as Art came about because massage truly is the way my creativity is expressed. Every massage is tailored to you and I am proud to be Simi Valley’s auto accident massage specialist. It is my honor to walk with you on a journey to relaxation and healing (and to drool-​land).

Probably the best and comfortable body massage place to go to. I have been to another body massage and trust me it was rough and very awkward. I HIGHLY recommend Angelica! I am 20 weeks pregnant and she had a wonderfully relaxing and calming set-​up geared especially for prenatal massage. She was incredibly attentive, yet after she heard what she needed, she went to work without being overly chatty– permitting me to relax completely.
The studio was clean, tranquil and nice and central.
I am looking forward to my next appointment!

The first thing I thought of as I was walking out of Angelica’s office after my massage was that it had actually been the best massage I had ever received. I’ve had high priced spa massages and massages at hotels and gyms, and honestly, the whole experience with Angelica was far superior.
She was very attentive from the moment I arrived to her office and treated me like I was the most important client. I told her in a vague way the type of pressure I preferred and she totally nailed it. Firm but still gentle. I also liked that she didn’t try to make conversation during the massage sensing I just wanted to relax. She rubbed through my knots with no pain and I truly felt she had like 20 fingers with the way she was moving.
I also really appreciated the reminder email she sent me. It made me feel like the massage appointment was more then just a time slot for her but a total experience. I will absolutely go back to Angelica for more massages.

Before starting, Angelica wants to know about your body, so she can give you the best massage for your body type. I have several issues, and once she knows, she works with them. I started seeing Angelica where she last worked before starting her own business. I’ve had many professional massages over the years and she is the best I’ve had, so she gets my highest recommendation. I am really glad to have found her again — she is a great lady — both pleasant and professional. When I saw her recently, I’d not had a massage for a while so I was pretty stiff. I got the «Hurts so Good» massage (60 minutes) which absolutely tore me up, but felt really great a day later.

You have to try Angelica she is amazing. Her massage is very complete and gets into all those places that hurt. Had an amazing massage that was both relaxing but relieving. She was sure to check in with me regarding pressure, and she was great at applying more when I wanted.

Had an amazing 90 minute massage with Angelica yesterday! It can be uncomfortable going for a massage with a new person when you have to remove most clothing, but Angelica made me feel very comfortable.
I had several issues when I went to her, in my opinion my body was «messed up» to say the least. I workout a lot and experience tension from sitting at a desk all day. She took the time to understand what issues I was having and explained how she could best treat them. She gave me options and made a great recommendation. She addressed all my issues and I walked out better than I walked in. I could not believe the rapid relief I had from pain in my feet and muscles!
Her office/​massage room is wonderfully clean and the aromatherapy smells wonderful!!! Overall I have to say that you have to get a massage from Angelica. You will feel amazing after and your overall health will improve!

Love Angelica! She is very attentive to my needs. I get a massage from her on a regular basis and she relieves my tense back and neck each time. She can do gentle or deep tissue depending on the area I prefer. And she’s friendly!

My experience here was terrific. So easy to make an online appointment. I received email /​text reminders which I appreciated. Therapist is knowledgeable and very experienced. I get massages for relaxation and pain management and this one did not disappoint. The therapist will focus on specific areas if you choose, but book enough time for the full body massage, because she is amazing. I highly recommend her.
