Our art studio offers affordable fine art lessons to students from ages 5 through adults. Teaching art is our passion and we make sure every student feels accomplished and creatively expressive. Students will be taught to see shapes, lines, colors, and spaces that they didn’t recognize before. The teachers break down each art work into a step-​by-​step method, allowing the student to learn at each phase during the creative process. ART FOR ALL!

History

Established in 2016.

… Actually, Young at Art has been a local art school for over 25 years! I started working and training with the owner last July and purchased the studio at the end of February. I’m proud to continue teaching fine art to all our students and our community.

Business Owner

As the owner of this wonderful, nurturing art school I am proud to be continuing the teaching traditions that have been passed on to me. Art has always been my passion and I have many years of experience in art classes as well as education. While attending Moorpark College and CSUN, I took classes in drawing, painting, design, art history, 3-​D design, early childhood development, and child education.

Growing up in Los Angeles, I learned about art through classes, museums, trips to Europe, and my father, Gerald Schwartz, a professional oil painter. As a past Art Docent at Madera Elementary School, I taught art lessons to grades 3^rd through 5^th for 5 years.

I am very excited to serve our community with affordable art lessons for everyone!
