History

Established in 1998.

Starting in his home state of Pennsylvania, Matt the Computer Guy began working in the IT field in 1998. Matt has worked for companies such as the United Way, T-​Mobile and Warner Brothers. Matt has provided telephone-​based support, on-​site troubleshooting and has worked as a corporate trainer, teaching small businesses, government agencies and Fortune 500 companies how to get the most out of their computers.

Matt has always been interested in computers, since learning to program BASIC into a TRS-​80 back in 1981. A natural troubleshooter, Matt took an avid interest early on in how things work. Today he brings that same enthusiasm to computers, peripherals (printers, etc.) and networks.

I only have one complaint… There was no place for me to add more stars because this gentleman deserves 10 stars! Matt is professional, patient, easy to understand, punctual, skilled, efficient, caring & his prices are definitely reasonable! He doesn’t leave until he’s sure his customer is happy. His followup is incredible. He worked on our computer & a few months down the road an issue came up that was not his fault. He insisted on picking up the computer & fixing it & all this at no cost to us. Thank you Matt for being you!!!

Matt is one of those guys that if he doesn’t know how to fix it, which rarely happens, he will do his best to find someone who can! I thought my laptop was gone for good, thanks to a failing hard drive & more than a few other things wrong. Matt helped me find a loaner that I thought would carry me until I was able to buy a new laptop. Then he showed up with my old laptop with a new hard drive about a month later! Totally unexpected! Very thankful for his help & you will be too!

Matt came in a solved a crucial problem for my business in a snap and got me back up and running beautifully. I had someone else come in and misdiagnosed my problem charged me too much and was unavailable for follow up help.

Matt’s services are EXCELLENT! He debugged my PC laptop quickly, all was saved, and his price was great. (This was after bringing it to Staples where they told me my hard drive was fried and all was lost!). He is a pleasure to work with, explaining things well to somebody as technically challenged as I am, and he added on software to protect my computer. Just this morning I had another scare and after a few minutes with him on the phone, all was well. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone who needs computer help.
