SkyLine Relocation

I have to add to my review. I moved from Burbank CA to Vincennes ID & Steve Garcia was the driver that delivered my belongings & unloaded the whole truck himself. Everything was great. It only took 4 days because I did not need to store shipment 1^st. I have not opened every box yet, but everything looks great. This is my 2^nd review. Ist was about the pick up.

this company they will be very nice at first and soon as they get your money start playing games. I was told on pick up that my stuff would be arriving from LA to TX in 3 days .
3 days has now turned into 10days without furniture and sleeping on the floor. The first excuse was the truck needed breaks, then the truck needed ac. Then the driver did not know the route um that’s his job and they have navigation now days then. Every 2 hours my delivery time is changing considering I have an elderly parent on Dyalisis and I work night work I need a set time .
This driver calls me finally and says I’ll be there tomorrow from 2 – 6 not the best time, but manageable. I then recieve an email from Tiffany at saying oh now it’s a delivery between 6 – 10. I work nights and just started a new job these people gave me no time to notify my job. Then 25 miniute later zach calls me saying nope now early Friday morning .
To make matters worse the driver argued with me for over an hour about fitting his truck though the gates in my community. He would not even listen to the maintence man in my complex that he could fit in the gates. Then he did not wanna park his truck next to parked cars, then it was he would not use a dolly on the grass even when the office told him it was ok. He even argued with the movers who were hired independently they saved my sanity dealing with the driver and were a pleasure to have .
As far as missing belongings I have a lamp missing, and my desk is jammed and the key to my desk is missing other than that I have to give the devil it’s due and say for the most part they transported my things ok. The driver DID apologize for his actions which I very much so appreciated, however do all the ongoing aggregation I would consider looking elsewhere before using this company again.

I used SkyLine relocation after about a week’s worth of emotionally exhausting phone calls and one particularly troubling and creepy experience with another moving company. which probably would’ve ended up being it’s own little horror show had they not run late and «postponed» my move date on the day they’d booked me, so in hindsight im SO GLAD everything worked out the way it did.
I spoke with Lee and she spared no effort in being absolutely as thorough as possible with informing me about the company, how they operate, what and how they base their pricing on, potential scenarios for possible extra costs and even ways that they’d be willing to work with me to avoid having to pay extra… it was a ton of info but she was AWESOME.
After the creepsters and overly «salesperson-​y» salespeople i’d spoken with from other companies it was just so nice to hear someone lay it all out in a way that was honest and fair.
it also didnt hurt that this place used to do all-​military contracted stuff and i happen to have a certain appreciation for the military. so i felt really good about my decision to go with them.
fortunately my gut instinct is almost never wrong. certainly wasnt in this case.
not only did i get the best price out of all the other companies i’d gotten quotes from that whole week prior, (and without even mentioning prices… i was so defeated by that point i was just happy to find a competent company and i was willing to pay whatever they were going to ask) they booked my move for that wednesday. i called on monday.
and not only THAT… i got a call the next morning from one of the movers who said they’d be able to get my stuff onto a truck later that afternoon, and ASKED me if i’d be ok with that. key word «asked», because there i was, being offered to have the junk id been trying to get shipped cross-​country for the past week THE NEXT DAY, instead of the following day.
i couldve hugged that dude over the phone. Henry, that was his name. Thank you Henry! He came by with his boys, got my stuff, POOF gone.
i was one happy freaking girl, let me tell you. stuff got to where it was going, cross-​country, in less than a week. no trouble, all good.

I have used Skyline Relocation for my recent move, and was so happy I chose them. The crew did an excellent work with good energy. They made it easy, quick and such a pleasant experience.

Now, that I already unpacked my boxes I totally understand why this company was recommended to me. i received everything in great condition and even sooner than I expected. My wife and I had a great experience with Sky Line. From the sales department to the movers. They moved our storage unit. Henry, Franklin, Juan handled everything that we didn’t have to do anything. These guys are professionals. Great work ethic and excellent quailty in getting the job done in a timely manner. We highly recommend Skyline.

Super great company for long distance moves, I recently moved and Skyline Relocation was the company that I chose over 7 other companies that called me. I have to say that I made a great decision because they did an excellent job and I couldn’t ask for any better service. The guys that did the move are amazing and they know how to wrap everything in the best way. All my things arrived in the same condition that it was picked up, and I received my shipment even sooner than I expected. The customer service that I received over the phone was really good and sounded like they really care about my shipment.
Overall great company, and I would recommend them to anyone that looking for a long distance moving company.

I had such a pleasant experience with Skyline relocation, they moved my things last month. And I never thought that I could enjoy the process of moving. Luckily I found this company online and when I called them I was a little bit skeptic of all their promises over the phone but they did stand behind their words. I used Skyline relocation recently, and I have to say that I never saw such professionalism. From day one, when I received the first phone call from Lee that was so patient, detailed and sweet, I felt that I’m in good hands. The crew that arrived on the day of the move was quick, professional and nice.
And from that moment my main communication was with Tiffany from the dispatch department, she was amazing… really this girl knows what she’s doing, she informed me in every step of the transit of my shipment.
At the end, I received my shipment from the driver Jake who was so helpful, and went beyond my expectations.
I’m so pleased with my move and I’m happy that I chose Skyline to do this for me. And of course I would use them in the future and highly recommend them. They are great!!!

From pickup to delivery, my experience with Skyline was overall amazing. I relocated from Los Angeles to Oregon it took about 3 business days to get my stuff. The movers were respectful and pretty funny. Very down to earth company and willing to help as much as possible. Lee Is amazing, request her ! Definitely will be using their services again!

These guys are amazing ! Pretty large move and they were on time and very professional. the service was excellent from start to finish. Movers were friendly and kind. They had a great attitude and treated our stuff with care. They worked SUPER HARD from the second they got to our house. I would highly recommend this company.

My friend recommended me Skyline Relocation after good experience with them, I called them last minute for move and Lee was very efficient, quick and sweet.
I didn’t have a lot of things but I live on the third floor with no elevator and narrow hallway, I honestly didn’t think they will make it… but I was surprised with the preffesional way they moved my belongings.
I just got my belongings two weeks, and everything got here in perfect condition.

I used these people for a move from California to Denver. They absolutely destroyed several of our moving bins and they ignored phone calls and emails. I called from a different number and they picked right up. They then told me I had to call their claims department which, once again, ignored my calls.
Our bed is broken and two, well packed plastic bins containing collectable items were smashed. The driver told me that he had already forwarded photos of the smashed bins, but I of course heard from nobody.

Updating now that my goods have arrived. The receiving end was much better than the initial end. Jacob and another gentleman delivered my items yesterday afternoon. The guys were efficient, friendly, and professional — especially compared the the guys who loaded my stuff on the other end. That’s where the good stuff ends.
My boxes looked like they’d been through a war, but they assured me that it was because I hadn’t filled them to the top and that my items would be safe. They were mostly right, which was good. Except that they broke three big items:
The side of my dresser also arrived with two cracks– fortunately, it was just a piece of crap from Ikea and I should be able to fix it with a furniture marker.
My TV stand (also Ikea) is cracked, but still usable.
Worst — they also broke my 42″ TV. I’ve filed a claim but it looks like I’ll be replacing that 99% out of pocket, since insurance is done by weight of the item. This is especially annoying because I paid them extra to wrap this. Why even bother paying to wrap and move it if they’re just going to break the thing.
Terrible TERRIBLE experience.

We just bought brand new living and dining room sets and wanted to ship our old sets to our doughter. No need to explain why we hired Skyline. Once again great service, fast work and affordable prices. Everything was efficiently protected, disassembled and put back together on the other end. Thanks again Skyline!

Just a year ago today, we moved into our new home. We shopped around and chose to work with Skyline Relocation as they were the best rate and were very pleasant and informative. The day of the move they came with 4 guys and 2 trucks. We needed full packing for the entire house, everything was still in the closets. They worked efficiently, carefully and professionally. The move over all took around 16 hours to pack us up, brake down all our furniture, move us and put our furniture back together in the new house. We didn’t know how we would make the move, Skyline Relocation arrived on time, told us every step of the way what they were doing and moved our 4 bedroom home with 2 car garage full of stuff the same day.
We recommended Skyline Relocation to all of our friends and family who were moving this year and will definitely use them in the future again.

So I finally finished unpacking and thought I would update my review. First of all Alex was amazing the whole time. I got this amazing feeling when talking to her, and honestly this is the reason I went with skyline. I know they have a couple bad reviews but I don’t know why. I think some broken stuff is to be expected when moving across the country (I took all my super important stuff with me in my car DUH!) The crew arrived at my storage and we’re ready to go, I had everything packed and ready to go, and it must have taken then less than two hours to load everything on the truck. Alex assured me that everything was going back to their shop and then loaded on a trailer coming my way.
I was called by the driver so I would know the eta, and when he pulled up they greeted me and we were of to the races. Alex said something when I first talked to her that made me smile, «the guys will help you decorate your place» but I never thought they would! Lol. They must have placed my couch in 3 different places before I found the right spot. Anyway they did have a few dented boxes coming off the truck but overall they did a great job. I would definitely use them again!
